About this apartment rental
This updated fourth floor 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo sleeps 4 with a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa. It features a private balcony with outdoor seating overlooking the Dakota Lodge pool and hot tub area and incredible slope views beyond that. Plus an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and hardwood flooring. This vacation rental is centrally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and festivities. Plus, you're a short walk from the high-speed gondola. Dakota Lodge offers shared amenities including the largest pool in Keystone with slope views and two oversized hot tubs. The complex is also right next to Dercum Square which features an ice rink during winter and a mini golf course during the summer.

The living area features a beautiful gas fireplace, a flat screen TV and a queen-size sleeper sofa. Extra linens are in a closet. The bedroom features a king-sized bed on our Ivory White Bedding program, a mounted flat screen TV, full-size mirror and closet for storage. The full bathroom is just across the hall and has a pedestal sink and shower/tub combination. The bathroom comes stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

We liked this place and would recommend. We note that there is no AC. There were 2 fans that we used. If going soon (Summer/Fall 2024) note that there is construction very close by, so it is noisy during the day starting about 8:30am.

The property is very nice.
A couple of things to note: 1 ) There is no air conditioning, so the windows need to be open. There is construction of new townhouses nearby so it is noisy. 2) Check out is quite early, 10:00 am.

Great condo, perfect location, ideal for the two of us if the lodge itself was as good as the condo. The hot tubs were cold (and my search for a getaway only had the “hot tub” search filter). When I called to ask for them to be turned up it took a few calls and hours to discover they would be unavailable for the entirety of our stay. Management should notify owners who could then let people know of the issue before booking. Super great accommodations other than that.

From the reservation to checkin process, getting to this rental was very easy. Once we arrived, we appreciated how clean and well equipped the space was. Most importantly, with access by foot to the gondola, restaurants, hot tub, and pool we just had to show up and enjoy vacation.

First of all, property management was really helpful when I thought I might need a late checkout. Communication was great the throughout my stay. This property is on the 3rd floor of Dakota Lodge and it’s within a 5 minute walk to the River Run Gondola. The hot tubs and pool are a quick walk downstairs. No need to walk around to the elevator when the stairway is right outside the front door. The full kitchen allowed me to bring my own food and save some money. The living room area was really great after a long day on the slopes. The fireplace and giant smart tv with Netflix were nice treats. Everything was comfortable and cozy. And there’s a balcony! Only 1 complaint. The enamel on the toilet seat is worn and the wood is showing through. Please replace. Overall, I give the place a 9/10. I would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at Dakota #8522. The unit is updated and does not feel tramped for a one bedroom condo. Master bed is very comfortable. The 4th floor provides a nice view of slopes but the one elevator can be slow (used stairs many times). Dakota lodge has a great location (near gondola, ski rental, village, ice rink) and has convenient pool/hot tubs and ski lockers. PM did a good job cleaning unit prior to our stay. We would stay here again!

Everything great except room was not ready at 430. Had to wait for room to get cleaned, waiting to get a refund for cleaning, if that happens, great condo. Check in is late and check out is too early

The unit was nice, clean, and located in the middle of river run, so if you want to ski/snowboard it's easy access. The only gripes I had were the whole unit reeked of air freshener and it gave us a headache when walked in. Additionally, the garage parking is 7.5ft and my vehicle would not fit. This was not listed under the description and I had to pay $25/night to park my vehicle in a lot across the street. Not ideal.

The condo itself is in fabulous shape. It was very clean and well maintained. Everything we needed was provided. Management was very communicative. Pick up of the parking pass and entry key was super easy and convenient. Biggest complaint is the there is ONE elevator for all the floors with so many rooms - we usually just took the stairs (4th floor). Parking in the garage was packed as well, felt lucky we got a spot.

Kudos to the cleaning crew! First impression was of how clean the unit was. It smelled clean and everything was spotless. Unit is well equipped with anything one could need. Plenty of towels and supplies. The view is stunning! Perfect for a couple! Had a wonderful time and will be back!

We had a great experience with thr condo. It was clean and had all of the listed items. The only downside was there was no room to store food other than the refrigerator. We had 4 guests total 2 sleepers in the bedroom and 2 on the pullout couch. There was a loud fan noise coming from the wall in the living room making it hard to sleep. There was also a clanging sound coming from somewhere in the bedroom also making it hard to sleep. Other then those things it was a lovely place to stay with great proximity to dining and the slopes.

The 430 check in time is a bit late, but it worked out for us. Hot tubs and pool weren't crowded, and also close to your room. Communication from the management company was above and beyond.
