This property was clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The ocean view was absolutely amazing and Linda was very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful weekend in Dillon Beach!

Loved the house. Open and wonderful floor plan and views are just amazing. However if you don't like or can't walk up and down stairs this place is NOT for you. Also, it's not that easy to walk to the beach. The paths are pretty treacherous and unsafe. Posted signs at the start of one path say, "Unsafe, proceed at your own risk." We ended up purchasing passes to park at the beach for $10 a day. The store is great and the restaurant is ok, but is only open Thursday through Sunday. Weather was perfect during our stay,. I seriously miss Dillon Beach now that we are home in the HOT weather. Will definitely go back and would stay at this house again I think. Also considering something closer to the water. If you want to walk to the beach this property is NOT for you.

I really enjoyed staying in your beautiful house. Thank you. It was just what I needed to get away from it all and destress. I will definitely stay here again.

Honestly there isn’t anything bad to say about our trip! You can tell the house is a little older but I think it gives it character! Kitchen while older in appliances worked really well for us and had everything we needed to cook wonderful meals. The deer really love coming up almost to the back slider which was fun for us and the kids to watch! The house has a good amount of stairs which was great for my steps but might be something to consider for people that don’t walk up them well. Instructions were clear on how to get into the house and things to do when leaving. The only suggestions or “complaints” that we would have would be the beds. Both downstairs aren’t extremely comfortable and felt really small. The master bed also felt really small but we are used to a king and do co-sleep with our two year old. One of the blinds upstairs was broken and didn’t roll up so it partially blocked the stunning view. We would love to stay here again but will be looking for a dog friendly place so she can join us next time!

Nice house a few minutes' drive from Dillon Beach. the family loved it. We saw deer walk right up the back porch. Also, the sunset views are lovely. The place easily accommodated all 7 of us.

Beautiful views and beautiful home!

Nicely maintained home with beautiful views, very clean and kitchen has nice amenities/decently organized. Back deck is gorgeous view and nice area. Slightly older decor but in good shape overall. We will stay here again! Only cons are the steep driveway (common for that area, but difficult for drivers and parking) and in the master bedroom limited curtains (several windows with no window coverings so bright mornings), no tv, and not very quiet (can hear everything going on upstairs in main area/kitchen). But lower rooms are quiet.

A group of friends rented this house for a couple of nights for a fun getaway weekend. The views are amazing, and it's about a 10-15 minute walk down to the water. There's only one small market in town, so come prepared with whatever you'll need.
There were a couple of issues... The listing says 5 beds but there were only 4 beds (including the couch bed). We made it work but it wasn't what we were expecting. The gas fireplace in the living room was broken, and the grill was missing a propane tank. The host got us a replacement tank after messaging, but it did mean we weren't able to grill dinner our first night.

We stayed for the Thanksgiving week. House was very clean upon arrival. I struggled with the lockbox which is old and needs to be replaced. Views in the house are gorgeous! I loved the upper level as the living and dining space. Kitchen is functional-stove/oven work well and there is a microwave. It’s a hodge podge of mixed dishes/plates and drawers of kitchen tools are good but super unorganized. Glasses are also a mix and match set and no wine glasses. There’s a Keurig coffee maker but no pods provided. Regular coffee maker also with filters provided. Cabinet of spices was pretty good. BBQ worked great. There are 3 full bedrooms with Queens.-all great size. All very comfortable. 2 1/2 bath. Easy walk to beach, which is stunning. Ping pong table in garage and a games closet-which again was very disorganized but nice to have stuff to do. Great stay, absolutely loved the remoteness of Dillon Beach!

The privacy and location was perfect for an extended weekend getaway. The home was comfortable and amazing. We woke up daily to deer grazing and sunrise over the ocean.
Plenty of towels, blankets and everyday amenities.
Would love to stay again in the future!

We stayed at Dillon Beach in late July. The temperatures were cool and the weather somewhat foggy for some of the time, but the view was great when the sun came out! The location is far from basic services (15 miles, about half hour for groceries), so stop off on your way in. My family was myself, my husband and my 2 college aged sons. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone. Theres a brand new ping pong table which the boys enjoyed. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Nice neighborhood. Good layout facing the ocean. Plenty of views. Nice enough. Property showing some wear and tear. Could use some updates. Windows need deep cleaning or replacing.

Delightful vacation home!
This house was such a pleasant surprise! The pictures are obviously beautiful but until you see the view, the neighborhood, the home and the beach in person then you really get to see the beauty of it all. My best girlfriends and I stayed here with our kiddos and it was just the perfect place for our group! Five minute scenic walk to a stunning beach and fun little surprises throughout the house (ping pong table, board games, beach chairs/toys and plenty of room to play). We will be back again in the future, as I can see this as a new Family/Friend tradition! :)

Location, view and family friendly
Beautiful location with the view of the sunset at the horizon. Long drive way, all rooms with ocean view, surround sound Bose speakers and back patio with the hill and ocean view. Family friendly and the kids had a wonderful time.

Awesome views
We loved this place! It was high enough on the cliffs to see the ocean from the huge living room windows. Place was clean and neat with comfortable furniture. Plenty of extra tables and seating. Bedrooms and bath the same, beds were firm and comfy. Plenty of blankets and extra towels. Kitchen is stocked with nice dishes and heavy duty pans. Surprised cabinet pantry also had spices and other dry goods like sugar and syrup and cooking spray. Deck was fantastic and we loved coming out every morning for coffee. Cute decor with lots of seaside character on the walls. Read the children's book for which the place is named after on the coffee table. So cute. Only problem was the dryer which had a broken drum. Hopefully that'll be fixed before the next guests. I can't say enough about this place. We plan to come back. Thank you Linda, the host, for all your assistance and allowing us a late checkout. You're the best!

A Clean, Well Lighted Place
Our four day respite from life's hurried tempo was a sanctuary of crimson sunsets and rolling lullabies of distant surf. The house afforded each of us the space and appeal to enjoy good books, rich conversation, long walks, and quiet nights.

Really Nice
The house was impressive. Every room was given thought and care. The kitchen was very well stocked, living room comfortable, master bath perfectly wide and deep. Best of all, that ping pong table in the garage. Gave us hours and hours of fun!
