About this apartment rental
Cute cozy and super convenient describes this property! It’s the perfect romantic getaway to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays. Enjoy the 2 person jacuzzi tub and relaxing out on the private balcony overlooking the river and beautiful bluffs while bald eagles soar all around. This private little condo also features a comfy queen size bed, full kitchen, bath w shower, comfy couch & rocking chair, air conditioning, gas fireplace, WiFi & HULU live TV plus movies. TV in bedroom & living room. Sleeps 2 people. Private, quiet, non smoking, no pets. You will need to go up a flight of stairs to reach this upper condo. It is not handicapped accessible.
Walk outside and stroll the river walk and the convenience of walking to everything in town. Walking distance to the National Eagle Center, historical tours, free under the bridge entertainment (summer & fall) quaint shops, boat marina, fishing, public beach, parks, pubs & restaurants including Slippery’s (made famous by Grumpy Old Men movies)
Bicycle, canoe, kayak & paddle-board rentals a block away. So much to see and do in the Wabasha area!

Condo was very cute. Within walking distance to everything in downtown Wabasha. Great for visiting Nelson, Lake City, and Red Wing. Our host made everything very easy. Thank you.

Due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to stay after arrival. The place was absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. I hope to return very soon. Ben was very quick to respond (within minutes after I called him) and could not have been more accommodating.

Great condo in the heart of downtown Wabasha

Everything was amazing and sooo close to food and entertainment. It was very quiet and peaceful. The only thing was there was water down hand soap in bathroom, a dribble of dish soap in the kitchen which made it hard to do dishes, no trash bags and not enough TP.. its a good thing I brought paper plates, napkins and paper towels. I also had extra bars of soap for handwaahing as well.

Nice place and pleasant area. The condo should have been stocked with a few more basic supplies like soap, paper towels, dish soap, etc. Could upgrade coffee maker too. We did enjoy our time there!

This was a lovely and well appointed space, perfect for a short get away. Overall it was clean, had great options for relaxing, nice lighting and great use of a smaller space.

I was very pleased with this place. The fireplace, jacuzzi tub and location were great. It was very clean and had plenty of towels and extra blankets! My husband and I do not get much time away together and it was perfect! I would definitely stay here again.

Couldn’t ask for a better location in downtown Wabasha. Main Street was torn up which caused some inconveniences which would have been nice to know ahead of time to plan for detours. The condo is a great space. There were a few items that need some fixing (living room TV wouldn’t turn on unless we unplugged it for 10+ minutes each time after shutting it off, fan in the shower was hanging down a bit, hot tub vent had fallen out), but overall was a great place to stay. Everything was within walking distance.

Quaint accommodations for a weekend in Wabasha. Better than staying in a hotel room.
Close to live entertainment in Heritage Park and restaurants within walking distance.
Place could use a good deep cleaning, would have been nice to be able to open the windows but didn’t want to mess with putting on the screens and the keypad lock was a bit of a challenge at first.
If we return to Wabasha in the future, we would consider staying here again.

The condo had just the right amount of space inside for my husband and I. It's conveniently located so it was easy to walk a lot of places. The only aspect that wasn't as we had expected were the River Bluff views. The patio was very small and there was a big tree in front of it. We weren't able to relax out there in the morning or evening as we had hoped. Otherwise, the interior was great.

Door lock wouldn’t work, porch door didn’t close tight, burnt out bulbs in bathroom, after reading other reviews this guy seems to lie, last august was the first time he was notified about key pad and still didn’t do anything! 5 pages of rules. No thanks done staying in condos…

Maintaining a place virtually is hard and some things are out of the owners hands.
We arrived and snow had not been shoveled and the keypad entry was not updated for our stay. Called owner and he was very responsive and apologetic. Caretaker service did not uphold their agreement. Place was charming, cozy and clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others! Very nice!

I rarely give 5 stars. Work on the entry code access please. In the heart of down town Wabasha. Great restaurants close by: Herb & Arrow, Triangle Pub, and Silver Dollar Saloon. Plenty of things to do.

My wife and I rented this spot for an anniversary getaway. The apartment was cozy, clean and perfectly located right off of Main Street. We really enjoyed our stay.

We arrived to find the room was double booked which was disappointing. HOWEVER, I called Ben and he answered immediately, looked into it and got back to me right away. Extremely apologetic letting us know the mistake was made and we couldn't stay there. He not only issued a full refund, but helped make it right in offering to help us find something else in the area. He added a little extra money back on the refund to put towards the other accommodations we had to make. Although it didn't turn out as we had hoped, it could not have been handled more professionally and in a more kind manner. We will try to stay here again soon!

Ben was helpful. In the heart of downtown. Cozy and comfortable accommodations. A bit spotty on the cleaning-microwave was dirty and the sink was a bit dirty. We never did get the internet or TV working, but spent most of our time enjoying the great things to do in the area! Code did not work initially, but Ben responded quickly.

This was a weekend of relaxing for us. We loved being able to walk anywhere we needed to go. Even on a busy holiday weekend it was quiet for sleeping. Clean, well supplied, nice linens.

This place is right near everything. The first night we saw some music under the bridge. We really enjoyed the Chinese restaurant next door and many others including Slipperys. The beach and restaurants are within walking distance. The property had everything we needed and was clean. The door lock was a bit tricky in that we were in the habit of using a deadlock and when you use it on this door. The keyless entry will not lock. We figured it out. The tv instructions should be updated but again, not hard to figure out. The jetted tub was a nice touch.

Upon arrival, we discovered the key code that was provided did not work for us to enter the condo. Perhaps that wouldn’t have been such a big deal, but we had travelled all day and it was hot and we were tired. It took about an hour to reach the owner to get a code that would work for us to get into the condo.
We have stayed at multiple VRBO places and always had soap provided for the shower and bathtub and also tissues available.. There was no soap or tissues provided.
We had to set up a subscription to YouTube TV in order to watch anything on the television.
The sheets on the bed looked Iike they had not been changed as they were full of long and short hair. Fortunately, there were other clean sheets available in a cupboard that we used.
The whirlpool tub was not clean …had hair in the filter and in the tub.
Bathroom and whirlpool faucets were “wonky” and required a lot of tinkering to turn off.
Parking spot in front of the condo is under a tree that is filled with birds in the evening which resulted in lots of bird mess on the car in the morning. Alternative parking is a half block away.
Just a lot of little annoying issues that added up to make this the worst VRBO stay we’ve had.

I had a very relaxing weekend alone and pampered myself. I would love to go back in the summer!
