The Sofia Suite is located on the 2nd floor of the Grumpy Old Men Condominiums, in the heart of downtown Wabasha. This space is steps from local restaurants, the well-known Eagle Center, and the Mississippi River front. Soak in the jacuzzi tub while enjoying your favorite movie/show. This quiet space is great for a romantic get away. Coffee Mill ski area and 2 marinas are close by as well. Note: you will be climbing a set of stairs as we do not have an elevator.

The condo was exactly like the pictures. It had everything we needed and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location right on Main street was in walking distance to everything...restaurants, a brewery, shops and the National Eagle Center. We will definitely here again. It was perfect!

It was a fun two night stay. Riverboat days happened to be going on so we had live music, food trucks and lots of different events going on while we were there. We went for the golfing and found a couple nice courses to visit and then a great little place to go back to for food and rest. Great experience!

What a charming town with lots to do and stunning nature all around! We booked this condo for a wedding, and my girlfriend and I, who work insane hours, decided to extend our stay to escape the daily grind and enjoy some quality time together while exploring the beautiful nature Minnesota has to offer. Wabasha has so much to offer. We visited the National Eagle Center, and it was a blast to be so close to the majestic birds, especially during feeding time. We also took spontaneous drives without a set destination, just to take in the breathtaking scenery, and fell in love with the area. Returning to the condo was a delight. It was well-maintained and modern, with all the creature comforts you could need. The big TV, comfy bed, and a nice kitchen with fans to keep the air circulating made our stay very comfortable. Although we didn’t get to use the jacuzzi as we were exhausted from sightseeing, we appreciated its thoughtful placement where you could relax and watch TV. Finding safe places to eat can be challenging as my girlfriend has celiac disease, but we were pleasantly surprised to discover several gluten-free dining options within reasonable driving distance. We used an app called Find Me Gluten Free, which made our dining experiences stress-free and enjoyable. It was an amazing time, and we will definitely have to visit again! Thank you for providing such a great condo.

My husband and I wanted an easy quick getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We loved the area and access to good restaurants and bars as well as cute shops and a nice walk along the river. The apartment was in a great location and the bed was very comfortable which were my top criteria.

My wife and I decided to head somewhere not too far for a relaxing weekend getaway. We found this cute little condo in the heart of Waubasha and absolutely fell in love with the area. Walking distance to the Eagle Museum and conservatory, many good restaurants and the river and wild Eagles are within walking distance as well. We will certainly return in the warmer summer months. Thanks to Ann for a fantastic condo which was a perfect place to relax after a day out and about.

Great unit that has been kept very clean. Large television with multiple streaming services, fast internet, very comfortable bed. A/C unit kept us nice and cool. Loved the location for hiking at State Parks and visiting the National Eagle Center. Loved the Chinese restaurant Fresh Wok just a few doors down. Relaxing stay and would consider returning!

We enjoyed our time with the Eagle Center "Soar with the Eagles" events. Did the fish and chips at Olde Triangle Pub...didn't disappoint. Also had a great time at the Herb & Arrow...tasty freash food...owners are great people! Everything within a block...which was good because the Minnesota weather wasn't pleasent. Also visited the Lark Toy store in Kellogg and the Nelson Creamery. The Ribs at J & J BBQ are fantastic too. Would highly recommend staying here. Lots of feathered friend to see. Fun little spot in this world.

I was looking for a quiet, comfortable spot for a short, last minute getaway on my own and the Sophia Suite was absolutely perfect. Annie was extremely prompt in her communication with me and offered great suggestions for things to do in the area. The suite is located above a storefront on the main street in town, so walking to the Eagle Center and restaurants is very convenient. Annie suggested Herb & Arrow for dining and it was fantastic. I also tried the Olde Triangle Pub across the street from the lodging and the people working there were very friendly and the food was good. The suite was very clean, the bed was so comfortable and the fireplace made the space feel so cozy on a chilly night. It was nice having a smart TV to enjoy a couple movies while relaxing on the sofa or lounging in bed. The stairway leading up to the suite is well lit and even though there are other units in the building, I didn't hear a single noise and enjoyed a very quiet stay. Thanks Annie - I'll be back!
