The layout of the house is unique. It’s essentially two houses in one. The good stuff:
* The showers were great (and handicap accessible)!
* Loved the bumper pool table and shuffle board! We played many games.
* Also loved the location. Could walk to wilderness run mtn coaster and puerto Nuevo restaurant (very good). Although road is very busy.
The so-so stuff, mostly minor and we tried not to let them impact our fun:
* It has a hottub but we were told it was unavailable during our stay. The maintenance person came during our stay and said we could use it, but we didn’t. Also, we were not notified maintenance would be coming and were quite surprised to see someone in the back yard!
* The yard is a nice perk but the fence height is not tall enough if your dog is a jumper. Our dog did not want to relieve herself in the yard because it smelled like other animals. there isn’t a lot of green space close by to walk a dog. Gravel. Lots of gravel.
* It was a good thing we were a family of 4 only as one of the bottom bunk beds was not usable - it had jenga blocks supporting a bend in the frame.
* My husband had to deep clean the washer as it looked like had never been done.
* One of the bedrooms was very hot with no A/C. We gave that one to one of our sons.
* No chalk for pool sticks.
We ended up checking out a day earlier than expected as we wanted to get back to the comforts of home.

This home was spacious and had all amenities needed for a vacation stay. Great for pets. Lovely hot tub. Perfect for two families. Three nice bedrooms and one large game room/bedroom for 6 kids to sleep.

This is GREAT house with excellent proximity to Sugar Mountain (less than 5 minutes!) The house was quite cold when we got in but there are window unit style heaters in almost every room, once we put those on everything warmed up. One room had a broken heater and they came the next day and fixed it. Dealing with the national Vacasa people about that issue was a big ordeal and they were unhelpful and unfriendly but once I was transferred to the local Vacasa team everything was smooth and they went above and beyond. I would also recommend anyone who stays here to bring a stick lighter because the gas stove and space heaters don't go on through the pilot/igniter so you'll have to light them manually. There were matches available but that's pretty dangerous.
Ultimately this was a great stay and a perfect cabin for a family getaway and ski vacation. We will definitely stay in this house again!

First thing we live in the 21st Century…how can you not have reliable television and internet? If you don’t care about having those two simple items, then this is the vacation rental for you. Also be sure to bring a mop…the floors were so dirty our family walked around the house with our shoes on. The house is in a great location though. Still not worth the price of stay…definitely overpriced. Also had a nice unannounced visit from the lady who previously owned the home (house was formerly a massage parlor…lol).

went with the entire family 2 grown children, 6 grandkids and 3 dogs. We had plenty of room to spread out and everyone had thier own space. The fenced in yard was great for the doggies. I would definately stay again. The shower head in the master bedroom broke and it was replaced in 30mins.

Enjoyed everything. They might have bird feed but I didn’t ask or find it. Birds, including hummingbirds, were plenty. I’d stay again.

Excellent home for Sugar Mountain!
My boyfriend and I took my Dad and our dog to this wonderful home for 4 nights. First of all the space is great, plenty of parking (although we had only one car). The bedrooms are great and with 3 bathrooms it gave everyone the space and privacy they could want. The soaking tub in one is especially nice after a day of skiing. The kitchen is HUGE with lots of supplies. The burner on the stove didn't have the igniter working so we had to use a lighter, but we notified the property manager so hopefully that gets fixed. Not a terrible inconvenience though. The microwave didn't work and within 30 minutes of the phone call a gentleman came and replaced it so quickly! Great customer service!
The couch fits everyone and the TV was huge, with a gas fireplace to set the ambiance. A disclaimer to know though is that the TV shares a wall with one bedroom, which you can hear very clear through the wall, so if someone wants to stay up and watch TV be mindful if someone is sleeping in that room.
You can look out your window in the living room and clearly see the slopes which I though was a cool feature. It's walking distance to the ski shops and the entrance to Sugar is outside your door. Amazing location!
The grill outside has a direct line to the house gas line so no meddling with tanks, a great convenience for us. We didn't use the outdoor space but if the weather permitted it would have been a great gathering spot.
Overall a 5 star place fit for a large group if you had one. It made out small group of 3 plus a dog more than comfortable and happy :) I would absolutely come here again.
