Great location and property. Housekeeping and property manager needs to up their game making sure all areas are clean and all amenities are operational.

The house and location was great with a few maintenance issues with help from the property manager except, “we will send someone over to check it”. The main bathroom facing the front door didn’t lock, which was an issue with four children under 9. The kitchen sink facet was made to stretch around like it was on a spring. The clamp to hold it in place was broken. We finally had to tie it with a string. We wrote a note to the property manager shortly after we arrived and talked with them twice. It was never fixed. The bathroom lock turned out to be a real issue to the point of adults not being able to use it. Again, let me say again, the house itself was great.

We had family come from all over NC and central TN to hike Grandfather Mountain at my 74-year-old aunt’s request—she wanted to do it one more time. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate (it rained much of the weekend). But we had a great time. The house was large enough to spread out, the kitchen table was perfect for playing cards, the game room was a big hit, and the hot tub was so relaxing. My 2 year-old grandson loved the giant legos! The house was clean and had what we needed. The only issues we ran into were with the large coffee pot (the water wouldn’t drip into the carafe whe using the plastic basket), the kitchen faucet (the magnet that holds the faucet in the holder appears to be gone, we tied it in place), and the lock to release the deadbolt wouldn’t work when we tried to lock the front door at checkout. After a quick call to Vacasa we were able to get the key from the lockbox and lock the door. All in all, these were only minor inconveniences and we had a great time!

Lovely home. We had a group of 8 family members. The house was spacious, comfortable, and met our needs well. It was very clean and as expected from the information provided in advance.

Great space, nice furniture, great location to hiking and the local towns. Would stay again as long as I didn't need the wifi. Our group of 7 had challenges connecting to the wifi. I work remotely and it was frustrating but I used my hotspot. However, I wanted to be on vacation and not need the wifi, so without that issue, the house was wonderful!

The cabin was very nice and roomy. My major complaint is most families have more going home then when they arrived. Our trash on the 2nd day had to be discarded and the cans that were on the property were already full. I contacted VACASA and was informed to take all trash to the community garbage. When I asked what was located I was simply told it was easy to find. We had to load one of the minivans with all the trash and my son spent over an hour looking for some place to discard it. Finally found a construction dumpster an hour later miles from where we were staying. Monday morning we checked out we had six bags and had to pack them along with our belongings in our vehicles. This caused overcrowdedness and cause the inside of my car is stink for the entire trip home. I think from the money I spent to rent the place for the weekend trash pickup like every other place I've ever stayed would have been provided. I would have giving all stars across the board had this not been such a huge inconvenience

This house was beautiful and the location is great. There were lots of small issues around the house that if repaired would make staying there with many adults (we had 7) easier. The major repair was made while we were there and the service was quick and the serviceman super respectful. Not bad for a long weekend.

Beautiful and spacious home in a lovely setting. Plenty of places for eight of us to be together or spend some quiet time alone. Would have liked to have more patio furniture for us to sit outside and more bath soap or bath and hand soap

House cleaners need to step up their game. We found beer bottles drink glasses, un emptied garbage, pack of cigarettes, dryer had all the towels in it. House smelled like cat. Coffee maker had the wrong size crate so coffee made a mess garbage disposal didn't work. Master bath and master bedroom dirt on the high apex of the ceilings

Great home and very close to the mountain. The driveway was very steep so we got stuck at the house for a few hours when the driveway froze. Other than that we loved the home and the space.
