About this house rental
Our multi-level home is nestled in the woods of the White Mountains of New Hampshire. This comfortable 3-bedroom home with a spacious deck and fire pit offers plenty of privacy yet located close to Waterville Valley Resort, Loon Mountain, a lazy day float trip on the Pemigewasset River, shopping in Lincoln, Plymouth State University, major hiking trails, and our own Waterville Estates Community Center with amazing amenities (pool, hot tub, gym, etc.). You are also a short drive to the venue for the White Mountain Boogie N' Blues Festival! If you are attending a wedding at Owl's Nest Resort you are only minutes away! This is the perfect getaway location to relax and enjoy the beauty of the White Mountains in all four seasons.
The space
Main Level-open floor plan with fully equipped kitchen that has essential cookware and appliances, dining area with expandable table to seat 8-10 guests with sliders leading to the deck and gas grill. Living room provides comfortable seating and large Smart TV. There is a bedroom with a queen bed and Smart TV and a full bathroom on the main level.
Upper level- there are two bedrooms and a full bathroom – a spacious master with king-size bed and Smart TV and a loft bedroom with a queen bed.
Lower level provides open “hangout” space: table/seating for game night and living room seating with Smart TV. Also, there are two twin over twin bunk beds (four beds). A washer and dryer is located on the lower level.
The home is equipped with the internet provider's highest speed along with complete home WIFI coverage.
Enjoy the outside surrounds – have morning coffee on the deck, relax on the front porch or gather around the fire pit.
There is ample parking for multiple vehicles.
The property has three exterior security cameras, one facing the driveway, one under the rear deck and one on the north side of the house.
The rental includes 2 guest passes to the community center with indoor and outdoor pools and 2 outdoor hot tubs(June-September), a gym, courts for tennis, basketball, pickleball and volleyball, a lounge, updated locker rooms and a sandy spring-water beach with a gazebo/picnic area. Campton Mountain Ski area is located within Waterville Estates for skiing/snowboarding with a great lounge to enjoy Apres-ski.

The house is as advertised. Plenty of room for a family getaway. It's a very peaceful location. Chris the homeowner was very accessible and easy to deal with. His house has pretty much everything you would need. I would definitely rent again and recommend to rent if visiting Waterville valley area.

Our family stayed here to ski at Waterville Valley which is 20 minutes away. The house was cozy and warm. We cooked in and had everything we needed. It was very peaceful, surrounded by woods. We will be back!

The property is well-maintained and had everything we needed. And, the location could not be more convenient for skiing and other outdoor winter activities.

My family recently stayed at this wonderful home for our ski trip to Waterville. The check in process was seamless, the host was easy to communicate with and the house was very clean. The proximity to the mountain was perfect. I would highly recommend this property!

My friends and I booked this location for a weekend ski trip at Loon Mountain. Their home was beautiful with the perfect amount of space to share. The host was very responsive and check in/out instructions were very clear. We will definitely be returning for future trips!

We have stayed in several rentals over the years and this home is easily one of the best! Extremely clean rental from top to bottom. The updates are really nice, the kitchen has everything you need, the owners are great to work with and easy to reach. The kids loved the basement space and the main level had plenty of space for all of us. The overall condition of this home is excellent! I'd give it 6-stars if I could, we'll be back!

Chris and Mary are so easy to work with. And once we checked in, it was evident that they took care of this place with love. Nice little touches throughout the house: extra coffee, well-stocked kids bowls and utensils. Easy access to loon and Waterville valley. We will be back.

My family spent the weekend to celebrate my mom's birthday. This was the perfect place for us. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The house is clean and beautiful. It's close to the highway and located on a well maintained road. The community center is minutes away by car. We hope to return soon!

The house was so well stocked with all the things we needed and very comfortable for 9 of us. The community center was fun and a nice walk. Local hiking trails east to follow and enjoyed by all. Surprisingly not buggy at all in the trails. We took a drive to Lake Winnipesaukee (~45 min) and rented kayaks, made a day out of it - worth the drive! Great area and we are sure to visit again. Definitely recommend this house. Owners were great at being accommodating and responsive with communications.

We had a great week exploring the area and enjoying family time at the house. We were able to cook and hang out by the fire pit. We had a couple rainy days and made use of the community center pool. Very clean and comfortable plce to stay.

I rent through VRBO often and the #1 most important need for me is cleanliness. This house was exceptional in cleanliness, well stocked and had all amenities you could need. Located in a great quiet area with plenty of privacy. Great communication with the owners. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic vacation destination despite rainy cool spring weather! We were so close to all sorts of outdoor activities (like hiking in the White Mountains National Forest, the Squam Lake Science Center, and Franconia Notch State Park, and on the property was the firepit for s’mores and deck to enjoy a coffee or eat) and had many indoor activities when the weather was rough (games at the house for kids and adults, and all of the pools and arcade at the community center). However be forewarned- the indoor pools were on the chilly side even though they are heated, not the owner’s fault, probably because it was early June and not a lot of visitors were there yet. We had a few minor issues pop up during our stay but the owners were quick to respond and helpful in resolving them. We will definitely be back again soon! Thanks again guys!

We enjoyed the area in the off season, Early Spring, the place was quiet and very comfortable. Wild turkeys walking by each day. We were there to relax and take in a family wedding which we did. Nice Place to relax.

We had a wonderful weekend away with our teenage boys. The location is great and we had access to everything. Some folks skied at Loon and others went tubing at Waterville Valley. The community center was a great addition to the weekend with a gym, pool and hot tub.

The house was perfect for our family getaway. It was well stocked and very clean. Everything about the house exceeded our expectations. The house is spacious, the beds are excellent, and it was warm and comfortable. We had a lot of snow on our visit, which was perfect for our snowboarding son. If you love the outdoors, this house is for you. We'll return!

We had a wonderful stay at your house in Thornton! The house had everything we needed, was very well equipped and comfortable for a group of 8. We skied one day at Waterville Valley and one day at Loon and the mountains were an easy drive from the house. No one wanted to leave! We'll definitely be back. Thank you

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everything was a breeze from booking to checking out and the owners had excellent communication! The home was perfect for spending time together as a family, playing games, watching movies and having family meals with all of our children, and their families! It was a great central location for many of the winter activities we had planned during our stay! We would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely time at Chris and Mary’s place. It was the perfect spot for our two families to celebrate Thanksgiving. Kids loved the basement and adults enjoyed the location close to trails and woods. House had everything we needed!

Wonderful experience from beginning to end. We were delighted to have found this home for our annual family trip to the White Mountains. We go to Santa's Village and don't mind a little driving before/after. In this case it was about 50 mins away.
- The space was perfect for our family, beautifully appointed and meticulously clean. Beds were comfortable. Owners have thought of everything. It is clear this home is well loved.
- We enjoyed the deck outdoors and the location was very tranquil
- Having Community access at Waterville to use the indoor/outdoor pools was a real perk that we utilized 2x in a weekend.
- Restaurants, coffee shops, fro yo place nearby were convenient, delicious, and friendly
- It was hot and heat wavy during our stay, there are several fans placed throughout the home and the dehumidifier in the basement kept the downstairs very cool
- We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us, Chris & Mary!

Wonderful place near the mountains
We were looking for a place near the White Mountains and also with things for our little ones to do. We found Chris and Mary's and our stay couldn't have been better! They were super responsive and helpful. The place was fantastic, the perfect spot to get away and relax. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed mornings and meals on the quiet deck. And the community it was in allowed us to swim with the kids every day, both indoors and outdoors. We had such a wonderful trip and hope to stay there again soon.

New Hampshire spring vacation.
This property was perfect for our needs. We wanted someplace centrally located in New Hampshire. From there, we were able to take day trips to visit sites both north and south in the state. The kitchen and baths were well stocked and a washer and dryer were available for laundry. The local grocery had an amazing variety of goods to cover our meal needs. We were very comfortable in this house in the woods.
