507 Tarpon Pond:
You will love everything about this Beautifully renovated vacation cottage nestled amongst the natural beauty of Seabrook Island with views of the 7th fairway of Ocean Winds Golf Course! A welcoming low country front porch invites you to come in, relax in the Adirondack chairs and enjoy every minute of your beach vacation. Hop on one of the two bikes available to you - it's just a short bike ride to the beach. The location is perfect for taking full advantage of all the available amenities that make Seabrook so ideal.
You'll be greeted by an open floor plan perfect for gathering friends and family. The kitchen is updated and well equipped with granite counter tops, stainless appliances and a regular brew coffee pot. Just off the kitchen is the dining area with table seating for 6. Adjacent to the dining area is the family room with vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan. Comfortable seating is arranged to take advantage of the 65" Smart TV. Just beyond the family room is the 4 season sun room with spectacular golf course views. This wonderful room is air conditioned and filled with natural light. Enjoy a snack at the glass top table with seating for 4 or just relaxing in the conversation seating area.
The master bedroom on the main level has a king bed, 60" smart tv, with en suite bath equipped with single vanity, walk in shower and hair dryer. On the opposite side of the cottage are the two guest bedrooms - each with a queen bed with a full hall access bath between them. This bath has been updated with shiplap and a tub/shower combo. A stacked washer/dryer is also available for your convenience.
Upstairs is the loft bedroom with 2 twin beds. Please note that this bedroom is open to the family room area below.
The owners have also provided a gas grill and 2 bikes, beach chairs, coolers, toys and boogie boards to make your stay complete.
*Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has started charging for all gate passes.
Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge.
Gate pass car total is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Payment of $45/gate pass(es) is due at time of your final payment.
Any changes made less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival are non-refundable. If you add a gate pass less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival, a $10 additional fee will apply.
THIS PROPERTY ALLOWS FOR A MAXIMUM OF 3 GATE PASSES TOTAL
Once the car has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive.

Completely immersed in natural splendor, the coastal barrier island is home to lush maritime forest, serene marshes and pristine beaches. Amenity Cards are required to use the Seabrook Island Club and SIPOA Lake House facilities. This property includes access to the Club amenities: the Beach Club oceanfront pools (seasonal), Pelican's Nest outdoor restaurant/bar (seasonal), Island House restaurant/bar, golf and tennis. Additional fees are charged for all activities except outdoor pool usage. The Club Amenity Card also allows access to the Lake House facilities (outdoor pool/no fees; indoor pool/fitness center/fees apply). Amenity cards are arranged through the Seabrook Island Amenity office.

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you receive your funds back, minus $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival date, you lose your funds. If able to re-book it, you will receive what we rent it for, minus the $250. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
For monthly winter rentals the policy is as follows: For cancellation made up to 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee. For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, Guest will be refunded an amount equal to new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest under the terms of the Rental Agreement.

What a great property! We loved our time at the house with its cute, renovated beachy decor. The house was about a 5 minute bike ride to the beach club and about a 10 minute drive to the shopping center for restaurants and shopping. We had a great time and would definitely return!

We stayed here for an after Christmas new years trip. We had the best time. The property is great! The kitchen had everything we needed! Plenty of room for all of us and we loved the location.

We had a great weekend on Seabrook. The layout of the condo worked well for our group. We spent a lot of time in the sun room!

This was our second stay in this property. Overall the house is nice and comfortable and conveniently located on the island. The house is equipped with bicycles and a few other beach necessities that were appreciated during the week. The recent bathroom remodel was well received. The only complaint our crew had during the week, was the chairs on the front porch were uncomfortable the washing machine is loud. Very few towels in the property, so laundry is a must. Hope to be back a few times next year.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was clean and well decorated. The biggest disappointment was no ice maker. It is ideal for two couples or a family with younger kids. We had 6 adults and found it difficult to maneuver the small kitchen and bathrooms..

Seabrook Island
We were looking to stay near Charleston. We chose Seabrook not realizing it was more of a retirement/golfing community. There wasn’t much to do as far as entertainment. The restaurants on the island were pricey & the food was just ok. We enjoyed the beach & pool areas & enjoying driving to Folly beach & Charleston.

Nice quiet place
We enjoyed our stay at Tarpon Pond.
It’s a nice quiet street. The house has a sunroom that looks out at the golf course.
The owners have made some updates and the house is comfortable.

Disappointed but management responded
I was surprised and disappointed in the lack of cleanliness of the property. Trash, used towels, food remnants in multiple places, dirty dishes, previous guests belongings left behind, and more. Master bathroom (not pictured) is 1970s. We had to do a lot of cleaning. I was pretty surprised.
The first time I called the management, they didn’t offer much help, but as the list grew and I contacted them again, they were much more responsive.
The property smelled of mold and I’m still trying to get the stink out of our clothes after several days, washing, and multiple days with an air purifier.
On the plus side, the beds were very comfortable, it’s bright and sunny inside, spacious, and a good location.

Another Seabrook Island Vacation to remember!
Our family has vacationed at Seabrook Island every Spring Break since my daughter was born… she is 18 now. This house on the island is on par with other Tarpon Pond cottages. We enjoy staying in a house with a sunroom since it’s still cool often . This house had a lovely one on the gulf course. We enjoyed the bikes provided by the owners and rented two from Seaside Cycles (saving the cost of one from the deal from the property manager). We loved Captain Brad from Sonny Boys Charters. He was friendly and helpful with fishing the waterway. We never leave Seabrook ever wanting to go. We will be back to enjoy the white beaches, knarly oak trees and …oh… the delightful aromas of Seabrook’s natural environment!
