About this apartment rental

Welcome to Blue#2! A cozy studio apartment located within minutes of downtown but without the metered parking. Perfect for those who want to enjoy everything that Omaha has to offer (including the world famous zoo!) or just "Netflix and chill." Includes free wifi access, Netflix account and Roku tv.

This apartment is in a historic home so you will have your usual quirks that come with an older home.

This studio apartment is a mixture of old architecture and modern updates. It is an upstairs apartment with two other units in the building (one across the hall and another downstairs). All three units have their own locked door so you will not be bothered by anyone else during your stay.

The main area includes a comfortable queen size bed with a 32" tv on a wall mount and a night stand that includes a built in power station. Netflix is always signed in on the ROKU TV and you can sign into your own personal accounts on apps such as Disney+ and HULU.

The kitchen includes a gas stove and oven, fridge, coffee maker and microwave as well as plenty of cooking and eating utensils

The bathroom is equipped with toiletries including soap, razors, extra toothbrushes, and much more.

Street parking in front of the house is available to all guests. The street becomes "one-way" during school pick up and drop off and other than that is always pretty quiet.

Pets are welcome! We do charge a pet fee of $10 per stay and require that pets not be left unattended.

Unfortunately my husband and I were only able to stay for a few hours due to a severe thunderstorm that knocked out the power. We were given a $35 refund on our 2 day payment which was insufficient of course. Owner did have good communication with us when the power went out but no offer of a flashlight or battery operated lamp of any kind and sitting in the dark in a strange place was not acceptable after spending hours at the hospital. My husband (6’2”) had to sit sideways to use the toilet and one of the two window a/c units is right beside the bed. There is a gap in the cabinets that face you as you are in bed that made me uncomfortable. The bed was also very uncomfortable. The pictures make it look a little bigger than it is. The plug in by the bed was nice and there were some chips and 2 bottles of water provided. I won’t say it’s a horrible place, but not a good experience for us.

we enjoyed our stay here, it was comfortable and just what we needed. i do want to mention, for anyone who is like me and is bad at researching areas/neighborhoods, the rental is in a part of town that has a bad reputation and i believe there might be a neighborhood crime watch. however, the rental was totally fine and safe, and the host was very friendly and accommodating. overall would stay here again :)

I liked staying here. The bed was uncomfortable and the space had very dry air (a humidifier would have been nice), but it worked for the night and the price. Communication was great, everything was clean, and the house was quiet. I've never stayed in a Vrbo before so this was a good first experience.

The place was a nice if you like small. Over all it was good, but the sheets on the bed were not clean. The rest of the place was fine, it had some amenities like snack, guides for the area, and TV with different apps for shows. The bathroom is extremely small with a very small doorway, expect to squeeze through. Nothing against strairs, but there was a lot of them. Over all it was ok for what it was for the price.

Enjoyed our stay. An old neighborhood but quiet and seemed safe. Lots of steps for us 80 year-olds but expected as per description. I had a bit of trouble understanding the key lock mechanism (I neglected to read the directions ☹) but the owners were there in a minute to show me - was actually pretty simple.
