Mike and Karra were very friendly and accommodating. They made the check in process very simple to understand and we had no issues. They even offered to drive us back to the airport the morning we left and to get groceries, since we didn't rent a vehicle. The property was updated and clean, and comfortable (TV had a Firestick for google assist, Netflix and even a PS3 stocked with games!!!). There was a pullout couch, but my daughter opted for the air mattress which she said was comfortable. The pool was actually larger than I expected and had plenty of room for the three of us to spread out and relax. The property felt private, even though we were <5 min walk to multiple bars/restaurants, and the beach (though the beach was small by the property, you need to walk a little further west to Nirvana (bar) to access a larger one), though Mike offered a ride there as well. Highly recommend Studio Cafe and Scoop (restaurant and ice cream spot that Mike told me about). Thanks, it was just what we needed.

We stayed for two nights following a 10-day stay in Eleuthera. The villa was everything we could have hoped for—very clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and quiet —although only a 5-minute drive from the airport. Host Mike and his daughter were especially helpful with airport pick-up and drop-off as well as offering suggestions for lovely restaurants within a 10-minute walk. We especially enjoyed the lovely pool and outdoor seating area. We highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Margarita. Mike and Kara are wonderful hosts and we loved playing by the pool. The place was very clean!

We stayed here for 3 months. The apartment is large overall, but the kitchen is small; however, we both were able to work together in it. Bed is comfortable and lots of closet and drawer space. TV has a firestik so lots of choice, including Canadian news! Plants and greenery added to the feeling of home. We had access to a large outdoor space that included pool and cabana area. Lots of good restaurants and pubs within walking distance. We often walked through Gambier village and found the people to be friendly. Number 10 bus stop is a block away, saving us from having to rent a car.
When we arrived Mike picked us up at the airport and Kara took us grocery shopping. After that we took cabs, which in the long run was cheaper than renting a car.
If we had a problem or wanted information, they were available and dealt with issues right away. Example is during their Christmas holiday the WIFI quit working. Mike (who was in Florida) had a solution within minutes of me contacting him. They were very conscientious of their obligations as hosts without crossing personal boundaries. We found them both to be caring and generous people and we will definitely be back.

We were a little hesitant about staying at an adjoined property of the owners because we like our privacy. However, it was no issue at all. They gave us our privacy and were quick to answer any questions and offer help to anything we needed. Super nice people. The location was perfect for us. We do not care for tourist locations. This was on the side of the island we call "where the locals live". The house had a book on site with everything you needed to know. That is a personal favorite for me. We stayed at a home in Hawaii that didn't provide that and it turned into a nightmare. The Blue Margarita was completely professional and we would stay again.

Amazing hospitality. They went above and beyond for us. From toilet paper to a ride to the airport. The people in the neighborhood were super friendly and very helpful. The church and conch stand with the view are amazing. People are overwhelmingly friendly in the area. We'd definitely recommend visiting

My daughters and I had a great trip. Everyone on the island was in good spirits. The owners were fast to answer any questions that we had. We were disappointed that the photos that were shown wasn't there. The multi game table was broken and thrown in the backyard. There was no swing on the deck as shown in the photos. These were a few of the reasons we choose this particular property. We did enjoy the pool and grill. I would suggest a bigger fridge. Not enough room for a weeks worth of food. We had to go to the store twice which cost 120 bucks in taxis. Not to mention food for a week (basics) was 450.00. Lovely place to visit but costly to say the least.

The neighbourhood is run down, the unit is not a villa but a basement unit, and the pool one would not enter. Sleeper couch is not comfortable for sleeping or sitting. TV does not provide access to general tv programs. Extra steep hill to unit that would be hard for many to handle.
Totally overpriced! Would not recommend to others.

Available, gracious and helpful hosts. It was just a quick overnight between flights, but very enjoyable.

This was our first trip to the Bahamas, and we didn't want to stay at a resort. This property worked perfect for us, close to the bus stop, the kitchen is very small but easy to make breakfast in. We sat outside by the pool every morning with coffee and ate our breakfast. We didn't want to rent a car having the bus stop close by was a real plus. There are a couple of nice restaurant options within walking distance. The property owners were very responsive and easy to work with.

This is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Kara and Mike thought of everything. As I looked through the place, it was very well stocked and labeled. All the personal touches are much appreciated. This place is excellent. The pool was very clean and a great swim.

Both my husband and I enjoyed our stay. The owners were extremely welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The place was clean and very comfortable with a pool to cool off. It was walkable distance to restaurants which was a bonus as we did not rent a car, for our one night stay. If you're looking for a place close to the airport this is it. I would highly recommend it.

Kara and Mike were excellent hosts. Mike was very accommodating and picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. The property is situated at the quieter end of the island by a nice beach and within walking distance of a great restaurant. We stayed twice…once on the way to Long Island and once on the way back. Highly recommend!

Kara was a fantastic host. We were able to check in early and she provided late check out to accommodate. We fully enjoyed the sitting space outside which was shelter from the rain. Her dinner recommendations nearby were stellar. This is walking distance to Love Beach and the neighborhood felt safe. The gated property and her large, trained dog provided additional comfort. A bonus was a nearby store for snacks and drinks. We will look forward to a return trip soon.

We aren't fans of gigantic hotels with hundreds of sweaty people. We typically seek out local lodging close to sites but on the quieter side. Our stay here with Kara and Mike was ideal for 2 nights on New Providence. Just steps from beaches in a safe neighborhood, wonderful AC, terrific small kitchen, with more than enough space for two. Communication with Kara was spot on, they were both welcoming and available but not intrusive. They helped get us to the airport after the stay which was very thoughtful. We enjoyed excellent meals at Studio and Aquafire nearby...the veggie linguine was tasty and huge and our server so much fun at Aquafire...she even sang spontaneously when one of her fav songs came on - great DJ there too. I liked the large shower at the property, all the nautical touches, and slept soundly. Couldn't recommend enough....thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed two nights three days. The living space was large, great Wi-Fi, and Mike set us up with a Fire stick to watch some movies at night. We walked to Love beach, which was our favorite beach. The local food down the street was great and not too expensive. We bought a couple of fresh lobsters by the roadside. I watched the fisherman pull his boat up so I knew they were fresh. The hosts quickly responded to our request for a large pot to cook up the lobster. Awesome hosts, very responsive but not intrusive. You can walk to excellent food choices and a liquor store. Catch the #10 bus into the tourist shops in town for $1.50/person. Return for a quiet evening local style.

This spot was perfect for my wife and I to take a few days away. Mike & Kara have created a perfect little getaway apart from the noise (but not too far) from downtown Nassau. They couldn’t have been more gracious and accommodating hosts. It was laidback and low key, with a handful of great eating spots nearby (shoutout Dino’s Gourmet Conch Salad!). This is definitely on the top of our list for lodging next time we come back to the island.

We stayed here only one night but I wish it was more! It’s just around the corner from the bus station, so getting to the downtown Nassau activities/Cable beach is easy.
And if you don’t want to go out and about, that’s fine, just stay by the pool and enjoy the margarita porch!

We stayed at Atlantis for a few days first, which was fun, but we were looking for a more down-to-earth experience of the "real" Bahamas...and this was absolutely perfect.
Property was well-maintained with many, many thoughtful touches (filtered water dispensers, plenty of towels, Google voice-activated lights and streaming service incl. Disney+, puzzles and games, fully stocked kitchen with oven, extra covid masks in a baggie, and a handbook incl. transportation services).
The owners were friendly and accommodating, and overall we just had a great, low-key experience of a place to stay that felt a little more like a Bahamanian neighborhood vs a mega-resort removed from anything that makes Bahamas special.
People were friendly and was great to just walk around the area. Seemed safe for travelers even though didn't see any other tourists. We ate at the local restaurant a few houses up (not on any map or Yelp--seems to just be a locals place) and it was AMAZING. Homemade spaghetti with Chili peppers, cheeseburgers with some kind of seasoning that don't know what it was but great, and Red Snapper better than any restaurant. The property is within 3 min walking distance from the #10 bus, so got around the island by bus. Multiple beaches are a few minutes walk away.
All in all, if you are looking for a great little place in a legit Bahamanian neighborhood with friendly owners and a nice, thoughtfully setup place--this is a place we would definitely stay again!
