About this house rental

Sleeps up to 14. Nestled in a heavily wooded neighborhood, with a taste of wilderness around deer with antlers, exotic birds, and if you are lucky, you can hear soothing church bells echoing off the trees on weekends that touches your heart, mind, and soul. Experience a serene retreat perfect for family, corporate, and private events (event fees apply).

The home is in a safe neighborhood, and it comes with 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bath, living room, breakfast room, formal dining, dedicated kids’ area with multiple interactive games for children of all ages including 3-1 game table (foosball, hockey, and pool), and the classic PAC-Man arcade, a huge backyard with sink, stove, and BBQ.

The home is also perfect for a family or a corporate retreat, birthdays and weddings with up to 250 guests. Additional fees apply for all gatherings or events when number of guests exceed 14 . Please contact host with details of your event to get a customized quote. A two-night minimum stay may also be required. Events need to be planned ahead and neighbors need to be informed in advance. Additional clean-up costs and plans for parking need to be discussed, at least a week prior.

The event fee applies for ALL events. If at any time, the number of guests exceed your stated number, you would be charged a fee. This applies to both a) guests sleeping overnight, and b) guests visiting you for your event.

There is a small apartment above the garage in the back. We may have people going in and out sometimes. Guests will have complete privacy in the main house.

The photos showing this property are completely deceptive. It is disappointing among other things.. The furniture is absolutely horrible, I mean broke down and I mean broke, and the foul odor of the sectional, the living room furniture needs to be thrown out replaced immediately.,it needs to be dried out, the smelly moisture odor is beyond overwhelming, two doors in the back have no curtains which means you can see directly inside and it was one of the most unsafe/unsettling feelings I have experienced in my entire life. This was an extremely uncomfortable position to say the least, and very scary until we went to the store to get coverage for them. The air conditioner does not work properly and needs to be replaced., the property has a stench causing the inside of the property to be extremely moist, hot, and uncomfortable. I was advised that although yes, there is a extra room above the garage no one would be there (because yes O floop no one else would be onsite.. however peoplewent and came the entire weekend.

EJ was an awesome host! He was extremely helpful, responsive, and hands-on. Prior to check in, EJ initiated contact, maintain throughout our stay, and followed up to ensure we were completely satisfied. The home was huge and provided enough beds for 12 adults. The furniture is a old but adequate. The game table and arcade machine was underwhelming but the adults didn't mind and the 10 kids still used them. I highly recommend anyone staying here and I/We would stay again.

We had 11 family members in town for our son's wedding. There was plenty of space for all of us. The house was clean, spacious, and a welcome basket was waiting for us when we arrived. We met EJ and he was very nice and accommodating. Try staying here if you have a large family.

We held a small wedding at the house, and some of our out-of-town children and grandchildren stayed for a long weekend. Everyone enjoyed the house and the surrounding community. Communication was great, and EJ and his team were very kind and accommodating.

The host was very helpful and willing to help if needed. The house served the purpose needed with plenty of room and entertainment. If/when returning back to Houston area for a stay I will look into this location again. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood made the stay that much better and comforting!

We had more than enough beds and found every room useful.The game room was probably the favorite room, plus the excellent tv's and cable provided lots of family memories. The kitchen has enough supplies for a family of 4. The backyard was a wonderful addition to lazy days and celebratory nights.

The home was perfect for us. We were in a soccer tournament at Meyer Park...and it couldn't have been more convenient. EJ was great. If I needed anything, he was immediate response.

My event was a success

My event was a success

The property manager was great on communication and very helpful. House was clean and ready to go. They even offered to help with finding things for my event but wasnt needed. They go up and beyond to help and make sure the stay is amazing. Gorgeous home at the end of a street so dont have to worry to much on neighbors. Close to lots of things the mall food bars and anything needed. Would definitely return to this property

We were really excited to come and stay here. The house and space is big like we needed it to be, but it was so filthy. The bathrooms had not been cleaned and it was apparent due to hair being all over two of the bathrooms and pee splashes in the toilet seat on one of them. The bedroom sheets and blankets had not been changed or washed, once again because we found hair on them and some dirty stains. The fridge doesn’t cool off very well and it has a questionable smell to it. The stove was so gross, it has oil splashed over it. The floors were not swept or mopped, we walked around on socks and they were turned black because of the floor within minutes. On top of that, my husband’s car was hit by one of the owner’s workers. We heard back from the owner and he gave us his worker’s info. But have yet to hear back from the worker. We are truly disappointed.

Spacious and clean

My brothers and I stayed here the week of thanksgiving with our multitudes of kids. The house and yard have ample space for the kids to play, everything was clean, and the hosts are very responsive. The kitchen was a bit sparse, but that was understandable since the house is a new listing. We left a few condiments for the next family and hope they enjoy their stay as much as we did!
