Dalton and his wife have a beautiful property! It was a very impactful stay in many ways, but the best thing was that our son with autism was able to find a home away from home. The hot tub and swing gave him regulation when he needed it. He wanted to go back the day after we returned home! Our daughter kept asking to move there! My daughter was excited for the games and to see a Holy Bible in the home. I appreciated all of the little things to welcome us! We will definitely utilize this home if our cheer team or anything else brings us back to the area for a vacation! When there was a small issue, Dalton was speedy to respond and very helpful! I appreciate the couple opening up their home to us!

We came to get a quiet night away from the kids and Hamburg Haven was truly a home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back!

The backyard was a nice place to relax given the beautiful KY weather that weekend. It is close to restaurants and stores, which some people enjoy for me I prefer quiet. So that is up to you. Besides, it being clean, and a cute place to stay for a weekend. One would think hot water is a necessity, well not for the owner. We arrived Friday night, didn't need to shower. The next morning we were up early for a day at Keenland, my husband and I both took showers in the different bathrooms. I asked him if his water was hot, he stated it was fine. Well mine wasn't hot, warmish it was a quick in and out. I didn't think anything of it. So Sunday morning before check out, I went to take a shower the water was ICE COLD, I then tried the other bathroom the same way. I inboxed the owner he asked when are we leaving because he will have someone come out after we leave. No other offers or concerns that we had cold water to not shower. Then after a long day of travel back to IL and hot humid weather...I reflected on was very upset we didn't have the opportunity to shower as thats what you pay for. I inboxed the owner again (he's a lawyer, advertises this and his questions were indicative his profession) he then asked me a series of questions. In the end sent me a photo of the hot water heater and said someone in our party turned it off. WHY WOULD ANYONE turn off a water heater? No he turned it off to save money, he only gave me a $50 credit. I would not trust this owner, don't stay here.

We came to Lexington because my daughter’s school made it to the sweet 16 tournament. We priced hotel’s downtown (ridiculous) then we found this jewel. It was perfect in every way. Super easy to get to Rupp but in a neighborhood that felt safe and had plenty of restaurants and activities for the kids. If you stay here you must eat at Malone’s and Countdown is best escape rooms we had ever been to it is less than 2mi. Away. Price was very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again.

The house is nice and clean and the cleaning instructions are very reasonable. The best part about staying here, though, has got to be the location. The house is located in a nice neighborhood within walking distance of downtown. As soon as you are out of the neighborhood you are in downtown near restaurants, bars, and shopping. It was very convenient.

We were surprised with a kitchen faucet that was about to fall off the sink. Would spin around and around. Owner apologized but did nothing to fix it. Carpets are nasty!! Had to wash towels and washcloths everday because of limited number. Had to clean refrigerator and freezer before we could put our food in them. Hot water heater needs to be turned down. Bedrooms need luggage holders. We had to put bar stools in one bedroom to put luggage on. We do not like to put luggage on floor. Have never been anywhere without some place to put luggage. I could go on but I think you get the picture. Owner just apologized and did not offer to correct the faucet which we feel should have been immediately addressed!
