Great stay, as advertised
The apartment was clean, private, had all the amenities we needed, and was a nice fit for a couple with a dog. The location also can’t be beat, right off the the busy section of West End but on a very quiet side street. House itself is picturesque and beautiful. Property manager was always a text away.Would definitely recommend.

Great Apartment
The apartment is in a great location, walking distance to Commercial Street. I had my 2 little dogs with me and they were totally comfortable there although there is not much grass around so if your dogs are like mine, you'll have to walk them a bit to find some grass where they can do their business. If you are on the shorter side like me, you will do fine in this place but if you're taller than 5'8", you will have to duck while using the bathroom if you're a guy :)

The PROS: The location was great. Two fun bars, top quality restaurant and a great spa all within a 30 sec walk….yet quiet and no noise. Pet friendly with a fenced-in yard (good for smaller dogs who don’t jump). Everything you need inside this smallish space including full mini kitchen with all utensils and cleaning tools, washer and dryer, small TV and internet. Dedicated parking spot. And a small block away to Commercial Street
The CONS: The place did not seem so clean, which was doubling annoying as you can’t check in till 4pm and have to check out by 10am for the “extending safety Covid cleaning”. Had to spend first hour cleaning what I could but some stuff needs to be handled by landlord. Not sure I can post pictures on this site of what I saw but I’ll list a few. 1) Sheets did not seem clean. I washed and luckily brought my own pillows. Also bedding was old and stained. Such a simple fix for landlord..go to target or order some cheap bedding. Seeing stains on the covers is gross. 2) carpet in bedroom was dirty. Nothing I can do about that but they should replace with laminate flooring…esp since they allow pets. 3) The AC unit had hand towels stuck into each side of it to apparently seal the air space. Looked completely thrashy and any handyman would be able to fix that in 30 min. 4) The wooden stairs are relatively steep to get in so if any mobility issues I’d avoid. The garbage/recycling was under these stairs so kind of smelly walking up. 5) No curtains or window coverings on front door or front windows, so if you walk around naked after shower the people next door have a good view. Again, such simple fix to make this place so much more enjoyable.
Fir the nightly price and fees this place should be clean, functioning properly and SAFE. Which leads me to last point…
The DANGEROUS and IRRESPONSIBLE:
There was no fire alarm or carbon monoxide monitor. It had been ripped down and exposed wires were sticking out of wall. I had a bad experience one night regarding this and EMT showed up at 2am to check levels.
I wrote all these concerns to Vacasa and they promptly replied to my texts but no one came to fix anything.
So my overall impression is that this could be such a great rental unit with such a minimal amount of effort and money that it’s a shame landlord doesnt address these. If all of the above items were addressed I would personally would be sending friends there. But these should all be addressed, with smoke detectors being first in list.

Cozy compact getaway condo
As listed, a cozy, stylish compact 1 BR condo one block behind Provincetown's West End.
Minutes from beaches and strolling on Commercial Street. Then return to the quiet condo with a private downstairs outdoor space. Our big dog was welcome and very popular. Our return to Provincetown after 14 years was joyous. We thank the owner for his thoughtful hospitality.
