We had 6 people ranging from adults to a 4 year old. Due to the heights of our group members we got a little creative with who was sleeping where, ending with 2 on the couch. The kitchen is as pictured and worked for our needs. Owner was very responsive and easy to work with. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable apartment!

We made the trip to Santa Ana to be near Anaheim for VidCon 2024. Our group was two women and two 13 year olds. The condo was big enough for us to fit comfortably and the small lovers kitchen was stocked enough to prepare and store our meals for the few days. Pro’s:
The host was very friendly and communicated well. His property manager was also very responsive to texts and we were able to check in quickly.
The condo had enough space for us to move comfortably and hang out without being on top of each other.
It is centrally located in downtown Santa Ana so there are several things close within walking distance of you choose.
Parking is secured underground and through a gate.
Con’s:
The condo complex leaves something to be desired. The grounds aren’t as clean or maintained as they could be, but this is nothing the host is responsible for. During our 3 night stay, fireworks were shot off constantly from about 7:30 pm until midnight or so. There was also the occasional domestic arguments that could be over heard. The pool are does not have any seating, so if you chose to bring your kids or you want to lounge be prepared to bring your own seat. And the community hot tub was more like a Luke warm tub. Again, not the host’s fault at all, just some observations. If I had been traveling only with my husband or another group of adults these would have been a non issue. There is no central air, it gets very very hot. Be prepared to sweat during the summer even with the fans going.

The property was not as described in the posting at all. It was dirty and had a very bad odor. Full of pet hair and when spoke to the owner he didn’t deny having pets there but insisted that it was “professionally cleaned” my wife had an allergic reaction and my 3 year old was terrified of the apartment. We did not stay there and went and checked into a hotel. Spoke to VRBO about a refund and sent pictures of the place and they agreed that it was very dirty and promised a refund keeping fingers crossed. The owner was very rude when we informed of the condition of the property and immediately got defensive and demanded photos which were sent to VRBO.

Owner is fabulous! Was very easy to get in touch with and responses were immediate! Parking was our biggest concern, only one space per condo, our party had two cars. It worked out ok parking on the street but was worrisome.

Was a great spot to call home while visiting the area. Met all our needs.

Eric is willing to bend over backwards to make sure are your needs are met and responds promptly if anything comes up. Makes for a great stay!

It was a great place for my family to stay for a short get away. I would maybe choose something bigger for my family if we were staying longer or planning to stay at the location more instead of being out and about

It is a little bit different. The owner lives in the property & rents it when he can- then he leaves, his stuff stays. It’s reasonably clean. Very nice to have 2 bathrooms. The building is a little weird, too…older, with security doors and lots of keys. It isn’t the Ritz. Furniture is nothing special and a bit run down, cleaning isn’t super thorough, the painting in the unit is not well done, HOWEVER: this was the quietest property I’ve ever stayed in at night. AND- nicest owner I’ve ever worked with. The location is good and the price is right. Take a little risk- it’s a unique set up and life’s an adventure! You’re getting a decent deal and it’s all good.

The only thing that needs addressing in this location is the sofa. It is way past its prime and bits of the outer layer fell off as it was used so that we had to sweep the floor around the sofa a few times a day.

Property is as described and owner was not just responsive but proactive. Although check in requires an extra step for handoff of garage opener, it was worth it. Felt good to have a secure place to park my car in between visiting theme parks. I didn’t have to worry about break ins with our souvenir haul left in the car by the teens I travelled with. Actual condo is very quiet despite being in a large complex. We were on the go and only used it to sleep and shower. With two bathrooms, we were able to get ready faster than if we all had to share the 1 bathroom most places offer.

Eric was a great host. He answered any questions we had in a timely manner.
Although there was no ac, which we confirmed before we went, the fans helped at night. We made sure we were out by 11am and back in after 6pm to help with that.
The only bad thing I can say is that the apartment needs some renovations, updates and separate kitchen items for guest to use.
A lot of the decor and furniture is outdated and very worn. The beds were comfortable.
We were not comfortable using items in the kitchen because you could tell they were quite old and not cleaned to our standards. This caused us to have to eat out more than we wanted.
Again, Eric was a great host!

We really appreciate Eric opening his home to us and would highly recommend him as a host and his house to stay

First, I want to say the host was very responsive. However, the check in process was awkward. The place was ok as far as comfort and accommodations. There was no AC. The listing doesn't say it has it, but if you want AC, this is not the place. We stayed in the spring so we were ok. If you are traveling solo as a woman, I would not stay in the area. It did not feel safe. If you're in a group, and you are just looking for a place to stay the night that is inexpensive, it is alright.

The owner was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions or issues we had. I didn't realize that he actually lived there so, when we got there the kitchen counters were covered with his stuff (but clean) and the bathroom sink countertop had so much of his personal belongings on it that there was not a lot of room for all of ours. Also, it was a bit dark. Not sure we would stay again but it was close to a lot of stuff just seemed to be an iffy area. Didn't feel comfortable going out at night.

Eric was a wonderful host and very accommodating throughout our stay. He did a great job at communicating not only before but during our visit as well. We were there to go to Disneyland and it was a short drive over there. We took Uber/Lyft each day to and from which was around $15 each trip. We also walked to downtown Santa Anna for dinner our first night and found a yummy place to eat.

Eric was very accommodating and communicative throughout our stay. Property is a short drive to Disneyland, which is why my kids and I were there.
