Amazing Location!
This three-bedroom boutique apartment has been fully renovated as of May 2024, so if you have stayed with us before, prepare to enjoy the new, two-story layout, high-end furnishings, brand-new kitchen, newly fitted living room fireplace, and 3.5 bathrooms!
Literally 1.5 blocks from Highway 50 and Stateline and only a 6-minute walk to Heavenly Village & Gondola, casinos, and restaurants. This large three-bedroom, 3.5-bath suite is part of a boutique 11-unit self-serve accommodation. Completely renovated in 2024, this unit has an expansive kitchen, dining area, living room, two bathrooms with walk-in rain showers downstairs, and a brand-new, stacked LG washer /dryer. Upstairs you will find a powder room and 3 bedrooms with king-sized beds. The primary bedroom features an en-suite bathroom and a private sunroom overlooking the Stateline skyline. Equipped with a smart TV and on-demand streaming services (guests need subscription service/no cable). All TVs and Wi-Fi are connected to Gigabit cable. The seventh and eighth guests can sleep on an additional air mattress to increase the apartment's occupancy to 8 guests. The enormous corner sofa can sleep two youngest guests if needed, on two ends (not a pull-out sofa). A pack-n-play, high-chair, and toddler dish ware are available for the smallest guests.
LAUNDRY: The unit is equipped with a brand-new LG washer/dryer machine, for your exclusive use. Detergent is provided.
*NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy, and parties or events are prohibited. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm to 8 am.*
*PETS ALLOWED: This unit allows a maximum of two pets, with a $75 pet fee per pet per stay. Pets must not be left unattended in the unit to prevent barking, and we ask that pets not be allowed on furniture.
## Access
The unit is accessed off of Poplar St. and has direct access from the parking area. It has 2 assigned parking spots, space #1 in front of the entrance and #1 (under a roof), and both spots have access to Tesla and J1772 EV chargers. Please bring your adaptor if needed. The doors are all equipped with smart locks; The unique access code will be generated and sent to you by SMS on the morning of your arrival, to the phone number on file. There are two shared gas BBQs in the parking area.
Interaction
This is a self-serve stay. We are an off-site host, there is no front desk and we provide contactless self-check-in. We have a dedicated 24-hour hospitality team on call, in case of emergencies.
Electric car charging (shared amenity)
South Lake Chalet offers 5 EV chargers for our registered guests’ use only. Please scan the QR code posted above chargers to follow payment instructions. Spots for unit 1 have access to one Tesla (white), and one J1772 (black) charger. Unit spots 2,3 and 4 share one white Tesla charger. Spots 7, 8, and 9 share one J1772 black charger. Unit spots 10, 11 and the ADA spot (please park with a valid placard only, to avoid being towed by the City) share one Tesla charger. Please do not leave your vehicle plugged in when not charging to allow other guests to have charging access. Should you require access to another charger type, please reach out to our hospitality team to coordinate access with other guests.
Beach Access
All South Lake Chalet guests will receive a Lakeside Beach voucher for discounted, $5 per person beach access, valued at $30 per person, upon arrival. Beach wristbands purchased will also provide a 50% discount on beach chair and sun umbrella rentals from the Lakeside Beach Association. The beach is open between Memorial Day and closes mid-September, depending on the weather. Vouchers are not needed or provided during beach closure months.
Neighborhood
Located within a 5-minute walk to the world-renowned Heavenly Village and Gondola, Gordon Ramsey Hell's Kitchen, casinos, and only a 10-minute walk to Lakeside Beach (private, access fee required). This location is ideal for those working remotely (with Gigabit internet connectivity) while enjoying everything South Lake Tahoe offers.

The Stateline Transit Center and Heavenly Gondola are only 4 blocks away.

Our family of 5 stayed here for 4 days and never had to get in the car except to golf. We walked to the beach, dinner, entertainment and shopping. I would 100% stay here again. It is super clean. The management was on call at a moments notice and very nice. I can’t wait to go back.

There were some small problems checking in, but overall great place to stay at. Location is amazing at an unbeatable price

I was a little apprehensive, considering there’s no on-site staff, but was reassured after several correspondence with the support team. They were very customer oriented and can-do, which I greatly appreciated. My husband and I had a few unique requests which they were able to accommodate. Any inquiry was addressed immediately and to my fullest satisfaction. At one point a smoke detector alarm had a low battery and they were able to call a local maintenance person to address the issue. Overall, it felt like home away from home and we look forward to a return trip.

This location was perfect for our group for the week. South Lake Tahoe received 60+ inches of snow while we were here and the unit was in a perfect spot to walk to everything instead of driving! Unit 1/12 came with a covered parking spot which was very convenient with the snow. A crew came in after each storm to shovel / plow the parking lot which was also helpful. We would definitely recommend this location for larger groups and anyone wanting to ditch the car while they are visiting!

I have stayed numerous times in South Lake. I have stayed in both residences and hotels. I felt like this was a great mix of the two. We had two bigger groups and a dog and the place was plenty big enough for everybody. The layout is kinda funky cause they are trying to get a higher sleeping capacity by combining two units. The location was amazing. I like going out for a little gambling/drinking at night and the place is close enough to walk or scooter (limes everywhere) so you avoid having to have a driver. The unit had TV's all over and high speed internet that was easy to use.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again. The cost, location and capacity really made it a good deal for our family.

We had an amazing experience here. We loved the rental, the location, and our experience there. We would highly recommend it and stay there again. Everything was in walking distance. The beds were really comfortable and there was room for everyone to spread out and have some time to theirselves. You will be happy staying here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely place. It’s close to the casinos and shops and yet you feel like you’re miles away. Once you’re inside, you’ll enjoy the peace and quiet this place offers. The rooms are spacious, airy and tastefully decorated.
The beds and pillows are very comfortable and perfect for goodnight sleep. The rooms are very well kept and clean. The Sweet Water products in the bathrooms are very nice.
I would also like to commend the Ziprent staff for their excellent communication and timely response. Their customer service is second to none!
I highly recommend this place to friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely place. It’s close to the casinos and shops and yet you feel like you’re miles away. Once you’re inside, you’ll enjoy the peace and quiet this place offers. The rooms are spacious, airy and tastefully decorated.
The beds and pillows are very comfortable and perfect for goodnight sleep. The rooms are very well kept and clean. The Sweet Water products in the bathrooms are very nice.
