With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
Getting Around:
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Overall great stay. We had some issues that I messaged the property staff about privately, as I feel most of the problems we ran into were "one offs" and other guests wont have the same issues.
The house is exactly as pictured. Very clean. Great for our group of 17. A few things to note about a group this big:
- The house boasts that it sleeps 26. I would not put more than the 17-18 people we had in the house! I can't imagine shoving 9 more people in there.
- The layout is perfect if you have some couples that don't know other couples. I was able to set it up that no one had to share a bathroom with someone they didn't know.
- There isn't one large gathering area in the house so still plan on meals out.
The location was amazing. Close to shops. Inexpensive Ubers to downtown.
The AC definitely had a hard time keeping up with the June heat, especially on the first floor, even with being militant about keeping doors and window shut. Put your warmer bodies on the second floor!
No need to buy ice! There is a full sized icemaker which was awesome! The fridges were fine since we didn't have any meals at the house. We only used them to store drinks.
The second floor patio was a fan favorite for coffee in the morning.

8 women, great place to stay. Perfect convenient location. Verandahs, very comfy beds, Keurig and Drip coffee makers. Attentive management.
Our only very small problem was we had a chef come to cook- he struggled with Oven’s working and no dishwasher.
Other than that 5 stars all the way across!

We enjoyed our stay & the home was wonderful! The one and only downside was not having a full size refrigerator for a home of that size. There are mini refrigerators throughout the home, but it would have been beneficial to have a standard size given the amount of people likely staying on site. Other than that, the host was great & we enjoyed the home.

We needed to book a place for my wedding weekend and I didn’t want to stay at a hotel. I found The Inns and they had a great website. The customer service on the phone was great and the girls that I talked to for booking and just to ask questions, were incredibly helpful, patient and kind. Prior to checking in we accessed the information easily and emails were sent whenever necessary. The house was beautiful and clean upon arrival! This is an older house, but it has been restored and furnished really nicely. I got my hair and make-up done in Unit C’s living room and it was the perfect spot with the window light. Most of the time, we all were in the kitchen/living space in the downstairs unit ( I believe that was Unit B). Our bedroom in Unit C was perfect! It was spacious, and private with it’s own private bathroom. Exactly what the Groom/Bride to-be would need. Even the space that was on the third floor of the house was super cute and cozy. If one has trouble getting up stairs though, this is not the unit for them as it was a little tight at the top of the stairwell. But, this did not bother us at all. We even had the cottage at the back of the house and that was perfect for my parents. One of the couples had their baby with them and loved their bedroom on the lower level with the bathroom connected. Every unit had the Keurig maker and a few pods. There was also plenty of dishes between the downstairs unit and unit c for all of us to share. There were also ice makers in the kitchens which was nice, but probably much needed in the hotter months. It was a bit chilly outside while we were there, but the heating system worked fine and we were all comfortable. It was perfect for what we needed and every one of our guests loved the experience of being all together. I would stay there again and would highly recommend this as a great option for group experiences!
