This newly remodeled home with a Hot tub and a lovely backyard is situated in a peaceful and friendly neighborhood.
Very close to I-5, CA-44 & 299 within 5 minutes; perfect for when traveling to Mount Shasta, Lassen Volcanic National Park, Castle Craigs, Shasta Lake or Burney Falls! The location is central to outdoor adventures, conferences and shopping in Redding. Within two miles from Redding Civic, Sundial Bridge, Downtown, Bethel and great restaurants.

This home is exactly as advertised, it exceeded my expectations. We loved the home so much, the location was nice, felt safe and comfortable. We traveled with 3 kids under 6 and they LOVED the backyard! We will certainly stay again next time we are in Redding! I also really appreciated the communication with Rachel throughout my stay, thank you so much for having us!

Loved the open concept. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. All the basics were provided (shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, well stocked kitchen etc.) The price was excellent! We enjoyed the hot tub and all areas attractions. I would return.

Our stay was great,
Pros beds are cozy, the spa was wonderful, the home was large enough that 8 of us stayed and were not crowded at all. The host was fast to respond and very nice, house was in a great neighborhood close to just about everything we wanted to do,The house was pretty updated newer appliances.
Con’s I wish there was a screen door on the sliding door we had kids under one with us and the slider was very hard to open, kitchen has basic cookware very minimal bathrooms are very small but functional.
I would stay here again if we return to Redding in the future it really is a great home.

Overall Eden Retreat was fantastic! My family and I enjoyed the house. The house was super clean and just as described. The location was perfect. Rachel was a great host always attentive to making sure we were ok. She even gave us great waterfall locations to visit. We would definitely recommend Eden Retreat!

This is a nice place with a hot tub and BBQ grill, which were important to us. Convenient location to where we wanted to get to (fishing trip) and Rachel was really considerate on a few things we asked about, super responsive! Beds were very comfortable as was the dining and TV area. Everything was clean and comfortable. Thumbs up!

This home is cute, clean, conveniently located, and I liked that there was a Bible verse on the wall, which was one of the reasons why I chose it. It was a home away from home for us and we were happy to be there. We will be coming back to Redding in the future and we will definitely come back to this house.

Everything was beautiful and cozy. We loved the big dining table and the kitchen area accommodated several people all using the space together. We enjoyed seeing Redding Celebration of Lights as well as talking some river walks. Unfortunately it was quite chilly so we didn’t use the outdoor area or fire pit.
The one thing we could recommend would be to have a larger coffee pot.
Overall it was a great stay and we were very happy with our choice to stay at Eden Retreat.

This stay was a dream! The house was first off so cute, the decor and aesthetic was so cozy! We have two littles and one pack and play but they were able to provide us with another which was so convenient. Everything was clean and easy to find (except we couldn’t find the broom or brush that goes with the dust pan but not a big deal, there’s a vacuum lol) The home was in a really cute, SAFE, neighborhood. We were like 5-10 minutes from pretty much where ever we were going. The hot tub was a perfect way for us to relax after putting the kiddos down, it was one of the reasons we specifically chose this home! I would 100% stay here again and tell my friends and family about it! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The pictures did not do this justice. I stayed for the weekend with my family while looking at different areas for our possible relocation. It was beautifully decorated, quiet and peaceful, great location, furniture was comfortable, and we especially loved all of the quotes, scriptures and signs. And the communication was always responsive and easy.
If we ever need a place to stay in Redding again, I would book this home without hesitation.

Myself and 3 very good friends rented this listing in order to attend an archery event. Rachel, the host, was very responsive to any questions and/or concerns we had as this was our 1st time using the Vrbo app. Very impressed with the property and look forward to booking again for next years event.

This property was very clean and had everything we needed, in a great location close to restaurants, shopping and within about an hour of the places we had planned to see. Relaxing place to stay for six adults after a day of touring. Master bedroom is very spacious but the other bedrooms with king beds makes the bedrooms a bit small. Makes opening suitcases a bit difficult and no dressers for clothes or other items. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

Wonderful Stay
This property is exactly as listed, and even better. The location was wonderful and in a quiet, clean residential area. The house is beautifully finished and has lots of amenities. The backyard was truly relaxing and was finished in a manner that you didn't have views of the neighbors' homes which gave a more secluded feel to the property. The host stayed in touch and responded to any questions promptly. The printed information and guides that were left at the home covered pretty much everything. These little things are great examples of the attention to detail the hosts have, how dedicated they are to making sure we had a great stay, and how much care they put into maintaining the property. The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and convenient. I can confidently say that staying here made a big difference in how much we enjoyed our trip to Redding.

It was very comfortable & very family friendly! The patio was beautiful and relaxing. We loved the Bible verses around the house. The experience it was excellent. My family really enjoyed the hospitality and the cleanliness of the house!

f) We appreciated the whimsical touches including the elephant foot stool and lit white tree in the lounge room.
Location/ neighborhood was quiet but only 5 minute drive to grocery stores/shops.

Rachel was a friendly and welcoming host. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and was very clean and well appointed with cookware and basic pantry items. The hot tub was a real treat!
We used the house as a base to explore local State and National Parks, waterfalls and the snow around Mt Shasta. I recommend hiring a bike (only e-bikes available at the moment) and riding along the Sacramento River. It was an easy ride and so pretty at this time of year.

From booking the month prior until our check in, Rachel was a complete GIFT! So helpful & communicative, and she makes this house a HOME. Since we went during the week of Christmas, the home was tastefully decorated (not gaudy) with white exterior lights and a sweet little pretty tree! ♥️ The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean (amazing beds!), and the living and dining areas had lots of comfy seating. The kitchen is well-equipped with anything one might need to make a great meal- I cooked several times during our stay! She had coffee & tea available,, a French press ♥️, and even a coffee grinder! The neutral colors in the space bring peace. I found makeup remover wipes in the Master bath drawer that would have been handy had I needed them, fluffy towels all nice and clean, and more than enough toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry soap, dish soap, etc, that we lacked for nothing but the groceries! The toilet paper even had a thoughtful monogrammed/ embossed stamp thing that was a classy touch! Rachel gave us space though she checked in a time or two to make sure we were happy and well settled , and not lacking for anything. I’m glad the broom was available for use, though had the vacuum been available, I’d have made use of it. We don’t wear shoes in the house ever, so after opening Christmas gifts, I’d have liked to clean that up a bit more… I am admittedly a clean freak. Haha
Our grown kids and younger ones alike loved the hot tub, though I was so busy I didn’t get a chance to take a dip. The outside string lights are a really nice touch in the back yard, too.
