Very nice stay for us. No major issues, quick replies when we did have questions. Our two families {8} stayed comfortably for the weekend. Some things are a little outdated but hey Kids had a blast and decent location !

When we booked the property, we asked about the option for heating the pool and paid extra for the use of their heater. When we arrived, the code for the door didn't work and it took some time to get ahold of the owner. We got a new code that finally worked. Then when we checked on the pool, the water was very cold and the heater was very old and was not keeping up with the set temperature. The owner had the property manager call us and she stated that she would reach out to the pool service company and then never got back in touch with us. That night we went to bed and as we were waking up in the morning we realized that the house heater was not working. It was 57 degrees in the house. We were looking all over for a furnace and never found it (maybe it was on the roof?) and after trying to get ahold of the owner for a couple of hours, we contacted vrbo to see what our options might be. In the meantime, the owner texted back and said they would try to find a place that was open to get a space heater to bring us. Mind you, this was Christmas morning and we had a three bedroom house. I felt bad that we were contacting him on Christmas, but we were freezing and a space heater was not going to do the trick for a large house. He then suggested a few hours later to turn on the oven and leave the door open. My 77 year old father was shivering and pulling his sweaters up over his face. This was not a solution. The owner kept saying it doesn't normally get this cold in Tampa. Yes, we get that, but if your furnace can't get the house over 60 then you shouldn't be renting it out. We left and checked into a hotel. We are still waiting to hear about our refund.

Communicating with the property manager was easy. However the pictures they post are not equivalent to the way the house looks. The pool had black algae all over which came off easily w a brush. The hot tub barley stayed luke warm and we did get the jets to kick on. The coffee cups had rings like they didn't even wash them. Just hung them up. I think they just need to take a little more pride in cleanliness. The beds are like boards... the property manager did order a mattress protector and that was supposed to make the bed softer. However it did not!! We enjoyed our stay but we will not come back to this property.
