House was in great location and had a great set up for a large number of people. Pool was fun for the kids. Our only complaint was the house being in disrepair with water leaking in the hallway after raining and soft spots on the bathroom floor. Owner was very nice and helpful!

Had a large group and no trouble getting all of us and our luggage here comfortably.

Overall it was okay. The pool was green when we got there but did clear up the next day. One of the beds had sand in it. There were stickers all in the rugs. The pictures look bigger and better than it actually is. But all in all it was okay. The beds were comfortable and the location was good.

So many issues with this property. Inside and outside was dirty. There was food all outside around the patio and pool. Which brought in bunch of ants. The bbq pit was disgusting.Inside in the living room it is not as in the listing as you put a Huge cover over the sofa due to all the stains on it. The wicker furniture is broken and coming apart. The rug needs to be taped down. The corners roll up it is definitely a trip hazard and it was for granddaughter and my mom who uses a walker.
The remote situations is for TVs is ridiculous. Especially the one in the bedroom which I had to figure out how to change input manually and change volume. The play room was not vacuumed or picked up. There was balloon pieces everywhere, trash and the games ere all sticky. The bean bags are torn and stained.
The floors in the house haven’t been swept nor mopped ever. Our feet were black within an hour of being there.
Kitchen couldnt find light switch, no soap for dishwasher . The oven was caked on with grease and food from months of not being cleaned. The handles on the stove are broken and fall off and let me tell you it’s painful when it hits your toe. No pans to cook, no cooking utensils to use. Had to go and buy our own. It was a very bad experience. Sent text and pictures but was not address nor cleaned up.

There are definitely issues with the cleanliness and overall maintenance of this home. We immediately noticed the cleaning was not done properly in the home and outdoor areas. There was trash around the yard. The patio area was not clean. The grill was dirty. The outdoor sink area did not work. There was also an issue with roaches and ants.
We noticed the couch was stained. There were areas in the home that had not been swept. There was a loose board on the step down in the hall. The bean bag was torn and stained. We noticed pillows with stains on them. Both the oven and refrigerator were dirty. Two knobs on the stove were broken. The showers were slow to drain and there was a problem with low water pressure. There was also a strange smell when we tried to run the dryer so we decided not to use it.
I expressed my concerns about cleanliness prior to our arrival due to negative reviews. I was assured this would not be an issue. Although the owner/property contact is apologetic the issues are not actually addressed. No real action was taken to remedy the situation nor were we offered any kind of discount for the inconvenience. This is not acceptable. We as guests had to sweep and clean several areas so we could be more comfortable. Staying at this property was an expense for our family and it is unfortunate that we had a negative experience. At a minimum we expected a clean and well maintained property. Based on our experience I would not recommend this property.

Our overall stay was great, the kids had an awesome time swimming in the pool and having a sleepober everynight in the game room. The only thing I would have changed was to have a better selection of cooking gear for the stove top and oven. Everything else was great, we would definitely stay there again.

I am torn with this review. The property manager did communicate back and forth with me and that's appreciated. However, there was a roach problem in the home and ant problem badly around pool. Tree Roaches around pool I know is hard to avoid. The outlets in the what I called the master didn't work. On Saturday evening we were awoke by water coming out of the light fixture in the hallway, I assume was from the Roof. Again, there was heavy rain and that can't avoided if they didn't know. I think the cleaning people could do a better job. This trip was for my coworkers and I felt somewhat bad with some of the conditions, but overall it didn't stop us from having fun. I think this place would be nice for someone to rent with a little TLC.

The property - Roach infestation, property was not made for our stay, lights at pool were out, there were no pots and pans, the bed linen was dirty, a razor blade was found on fireplace, no tv remotes, coffee pot broken, refrigerator was dirty with blood inside, dirty towels piled on floor in front on washing machine, outside advertised as a plus but sink not working and countertop dirty with sticky material on it and with dirty paint cans underneath and water bugs, and the patio was dirty. Contacted property manager on arrival to inform him that the property had not been made ready for our stay. Sent message to owner, I believe he was. Someone was sent the next morning, very apologetic, but we ended up cleaning just to be able stay. We had driven to far and paid too much to leave. The roaches, water bugs, etc.. were terrible.

The pictures say it all. Gorgeous property perfectly located in the middle of the island. Property Manager was easy to contact and quick to reply. The pool was divine. My only tip would be to bring a large pot and skillet if you're cooking for a big group. Also 8 mile beach is a gem and only a couple of minutes away by car. We had a great time and will be back.

This place is great for the space, but it is dirty. Dirt, hair, roaches. Just not a clean place. Also I know there was a lot of reviews mentioning the step off but there really needs to be some caution tape there. I had 4 people trip and fall. I’m also really disappointed that the pool was not ready the first day I got there. I contacted the property manager and he told me somebody would come back out but never did. The outdoor kitchen sink was gross and there was raccoon poop all over the deck. It didn’t look like somebody was just there to clean the place. I asked if we could check in 1 hour early and it was denied. I would expect it was because somebody was still there cleaning but that was not the case. There was also no broom, mop, or cleaning supplies. I had to go to the store to get these things. I also had to rewash sheets because there was bugs and hair in a bed. Overall after I cleaned the place myself, it was fine to stay in. But will never come back.

This location was horrible. The pool was slimy and green the whole stay and there was black mold everywhere in the entry hall way, pantry and on the air vents. Yes the owner responded to us when we wrote but with no help I asked who I can I call to get us help and he stated him but was no help we had to stay in that place with mold for four days and now our whole family is sick. Not only that there was a water bug infestation in the home they were literally getting into our suit cases and also a mosquito infestation in the outdoors you will not be able to use the fire pit pool or out door kitchen because you will be attacked and bitten by them. He did come to take the trash out to the curb and was attacked by them so he sent out a guy to spray for the mosquitoes but it did not help at all. It was horrible DO NOT STAY HERE

House was very clean and extremely spacious for our group of 12 adults and pets. The pool was the main attraction given the 105 degree heat and the huge fenced yard provided peace of mind for our dogs to run around freely.
Bring plenty of mosquito spray and be sure to wear shoes In the grass areas to avoid the stickers which are both common issues on the coast.
We will be back!

STICKERS STICKERS STICKERS
First all of the yard has stickers so do not walk barefoot or wear shoes in house! House was clean. Wasn't warned about a step down to hallway. Also main bathroom had horrible floors put in and it's so unleveled. Pool was so gross and low so pumps weren't working. We had to clean everything before use. I have several photos for reference.

Family vacation
This house was perfect for us. 12 people stayed for 4 nights. We really enjoyed the pool and the close proximity to the beach. You have to drive there from the house, but there's a place to park on the beach there. Very convenient. Would like to stay again. Thanks!

House was nice but Noone said there was a drop.off going to bathroom in hallway and my family fell a
Next there is an underground water leak on patio and my grandson fell and messed up his leg. You were so happy to send us all these rules about don't use towels don't do this and that but failed to WARN us about these conditions in this house. Now we are having to go to doctor and it ruined the time at the house.

My family and I had an enjoyable stay in this beautiful and spacious property. The kids loved the game room and pool, and the adults loved the firepit, patio, and spacious kitchen and rooms. Beds were comfortable. Property owners were quick to respond. Will stay again.

Treasure
This is the perfect little getaway for a family. More than enough beds and activities. You will never have a dull moment at this house! The owners have literally thought of everything! The weather was too cold for the beach but they worked up a sweat playing basketball on the hoop in the backyard, football in the spacious yard out front, and cooled off in the pool! To wrap up the night we sat by the fire pit! We wanted to just steal away for the day for a staycation but we fully regretted not booking a couple of nights.

Cheer comp stay
We were in town for a cheer competition and didn’t want to stay in a hotel. This VRBO fit all of our group (4 couples & 10 kids) perfectly and was much more affordable than the inflated hotel costs. We had all the accessories for breakfast, lunch and dinners at home! The house was very clean upon arrival and the outside was well kept! We had a little water issue and the management was extremely tentative and had plumbers out within the hour. The plumbers were very well mannered and pleasant to work with. We have already recommend this property to family/friends and also look forward to a summer trip so we can utilize the pool.

Insanely nice house and great location
Overall this was everything that we were asking for in terms of what me and my friends/family wanted from a beach house. It was an amazing house, and we couldn't have asked for more.

Family trip to Galveston
Large house, really nice backyard. Lots of beds. Fenced area in front of house would be ok for medium to large dogs but my small dog crawled under the gate when my back was turned. Luckily I caught him before he got to busy road in front of the house. Overall nice stay. I would rent again, without my dogs.

Great location and excellent property for family getaway
The property is located centrally and yet it feels very private. The pool is the best feature of the house and our kids absolutely loved it. So did the adults. With this location we were able to enjoy Galveston a bit more which was fun. The house itself is fully remodeled and well equipped with all the amenities. The bathrooms and kitchen are clean. No complaints at all. The host we’re very responsive and provided answers promptly.
