This sophisticated, spacious, stylish, newly remodeled tropical villa seems to exist in an enchanting, resort-like world of its own, yet it’s just a few minutes from world-class beaches and all the other attractions of Poipu, Koloa and the South Shore. From top to bottom, the exceptionally charming 2-story home is artfully enhanced with tasteful furnishings and custom finishes, and every window frames a stirring view of Mount Hau‘pu, lush tropical foliage, or the sparkling sea.
The 5 airy, well-appointed bedrooms are cool and private, while the 3.5 baths are elegantly embellished with marble, glass, and wood. There’s a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with casual counter seating (and a painterly view), a full-fledged dining room, and a wet bar with wine fridge. Classy details and unexpected touches add to the appeal, from the luminous woodwork and the glossy green-granite counters. If you are planning a trip to Kauai and are looking for a classy, well-appointed, centrally-located home with an amazing pool and some of the best breezes and sunrises on the island, then this is your place.
This was our first family trip to Kauai. We selected this home based upon the abundance of 5-star reviews and glowing recommendations. This home was big for our group of 5, but the kids are 16-21 and no-one complained about having their own queen or king bed and lots of elbow room! The gathering spaces in this home are beautiful and large. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable with luxury bedding and good temperature control options. The kitchen was well-equipped and had high end appliances that all worked just right. It is a very easy house to settle into.
The communication from the rental management company was amazing, kind and timely. They provided help in advance, access to concierge services, and very clear instructions for home access and departure expectations (simple!).
Shipwreck beach was fun - watching the surfers and cliff jumpers. Puka Dog dinner at Poipu beach during sunset was fun. We hiked the gorgeous heritage trail, toured the national botanical gardens, spouting horn, and the largest coffee plantation in the USA. The local Wednesday afternoon farmer's market and all the recommended restaurants were great. Dinner at Merriman's was a family favorite. The Na'Pali Coast, Waimea Canyon and Hanalei Bay are all easy trips from this house.

This house was a perfect fit for our family of 9. We had a blast in the lovely pool with waterfall, relaxed in the spa, and enjoyed being able to cook and barbecue right at home throughout the trip. We loved the huge island with cooktop, oven and microwave, and everything we needed was there. Lovely home with stained wood details everywhere. The tiki torches around the pool are a great touch!! We loved our stay.

We visited with a group of six adults and one toddler and had a wonderful time in Kauai. The property was lovely, very comfortable for our family. Very user friendly in terms finding things and USING the kitchen. The few small things that needed repair were immediately addressed. The flowers snacks and coffee on arrival were a nice touch.
The property has a peak view at Hideaways beach and is an easy walk to the Hyatt and to Poipu Beach for active people. It’s also single story for the main level for less active people which was ideal for our group.
We were blessed to have a full moon during our visit and spent every night in the pool. It was magical!

We had a wonderful week in Kauai. Rental was as advertised and suited our group of 10 perfectly. Loved the location - short walks to three different beaches, and we ate at excellent nearby restaurants. Great location to get to other island activities and experiences. Staff was terrific in responding to our requests. One small issue - our week in Hawaii was really on the windy and rainy side. The pool was not as warm as we wanted. It would have been nice to be able to pooch up the temp a bit. Would return in a minute.

From the initial drive up the steep driveway, we were in awe! Gorgeous property. Listing photos were very accurate. The views from the lanai and the kitchen window were breathtaking.
The home was spacious and comfortable for our large family of 11. Sliding doors that opened from the lanai to the living space was a highlight of the interior space.
The pool and the hot tub were another highlight of the outdoor space.
This home had everything we needed. We did a lot of cooking and enjoying all aspects of the space. The home is situated high up on a hill and its placement definitely added to its peacefulness. Quiet and private.
There is an easy and quick walk to Shipwreck Beach. Easy and short drive to the adorable town of Koloa.
We loved it so much here that we didn’t want to leave.
We have decided to make a point to come back to the same house in a few years if it’s still a listing.
Communication with property management was 100%. Very helpful and cordial. They even saved us booking fees on an excursion on island.
We will definitely return. Thank you for such a wonderful adventure😊

We visited Hale Keoniloa with my wife's extended family in February 2024. The property is in an excellent neighborhood, was clean and inviting, and met all of our expectations. A few refrigeration units were not working, but management brought in an extra fridge/freezer for the garage, so all needs were met. The team at Wailani was responsive and kind at all times relevant, and I would recommend their managed properties to anyone interested in visiting the island. Mahalo!

This is a great house for a family, plenty of room for all to spread out. We enjoyed the lanai and the hot tub for end of day beers and relaxation. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well-appointed for cooking. (Plastic bags/foil would be a good addition) The location is fabulous for easy walks to the beaches and the great walking paths. The lanai has great views of both the mountains and a bit of the ocean. The concierge was great to deal with, she helped set up a few things for us. My only quibble is the lower level smells musty, and some of the furniture on the lanai was pretty stained. Didnt stop us from eating meals and morning coffee outside!

We rented this house to stay in while getting married on Kauai and it was perfect for our family and a couple of close friends. 5 minute walk to the beach, shopping close by, and we couldn't get the kids out of the pool. House was clean and stunning on the inside. We had a clogged sink at one point and there was someone there to fix it within an hour or two of calling.

This house was the perfect stay for our group of two families and one set of grandparents. The mountain and ocean views from the lanai are amazing, and the lanai and main floor were the perfect place for our toddlers to play. The house was clean and well appointed. Any questions or requests were promptly handled by the management team. For a larger family or group, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. My suggestion for traveling families: leverage one of the family/kid gear rental services in the area for toys and beach gear. The management team can refer you.

The home was amazing in every respect- spacious, beautifully appointed great layout, fully functional kitchen and incredible pool - just perfect for our family gathering of 10 people ranging from 2 grandparents, 2 couples with 2 children each (11 mo to 7 years). Having the pool right there and great beaches for kids very close by was a strong point. By far the best stay in Hawaii we have ever had- including the north side of Kauai. Will definitely come back!

The kids spent many, many hours in the pool and we all spent a lot of time out on the patio or the upstairs lanai. It was magical and the best vacation rental we have ever had the pleasure of staying. Hosts responded to questions quickly and were very hospitable. My sister's and I spent a little over a week at this beautiful Poipu home. I loved the convenient walking trails to the Grand Hyatt and down to Poipu Beach. And the home was beautiful, with all of the kitchen things we needed to eat in each night. The pool was another great asset. We used it daily!

We loved and appreciated everything about this fabulous home! We arrived as an active family of eight: grandparents, son, his wife, and four grandchildren 10-21 in age. We enjoyed all the opportunities the convenient location offered; walking, or driving, to beaches, hikes, restaurants and shopping. The beautifully landscaped yard with perfect pool, spa, and comfortably placed outdoor furnishings was a favorite with everyone. The well-designed open floor plan is absolutely gorgeous with striking wood floors and high wood ceilings. Beautiful views of the lush surroundings and ocean view from the spacious lanai off the living and kitchen areas. The well-equipped kitchen was a delight for food preparation and family conversations. We felt the house was well-represented and said welcome in every way. We would look forward to visiting again!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this lovely home. It is extremely spacious and nicely decorated. The pool was a huge hit with the kids. The location is fabulous for exploring the southern shores. Several beaches are walkable. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

I am not one to leave reviews but this property was exceptional. This was a family vacation - 11 of us spanning 3 generations. This house was perfect for us. The location,size,amenities,cleaniness and an amazing swimming pool. We do not have 1 complaint!I personally want to thank Mika from Wailani Properties as he went above and beyond - actually meeting us at the airport as we were leaving to give us something that we had left behind. Whatever we needed he was there within the hour to repair and a/c or drop of supplies. Mahalo Mika! We had a great trip.I highly recommend this home.

Fantastic house! We have been coming to Poipu for the last 21 years and this is the best house yet! Perfect for my elderly parents as it had air conditioning and they were able to be on one level the whole time. Wonderful yard and pool. Had every amenity we needed. Can’t wait for the next visit!!

Our experience was perfect from start to finish with this property. Excellent communication with the management company throughout and a description and pictures that were accurate and arguably even understated. The property is exceptionally well maintained with manicured finishes throughout including the beautiful landscaping and exterior. The kitchen is well equipped with great cookware, multiple sets of matching dishes and even sharpened knives. We enjoyed nearly every meal on the lania to take in the views of the ocean and mountains, while enjoying visits from the occasional red-necked cardinal. Perhaps the greatest surprise was the pool and spa. It was beautiful, simple, heated, and luxurious in a setting that fully captured the reason people visit Hawaii.

This beautiful house was perfect for our extended family vacation. The pool and hot tub were even better than the photos! Its easy walking distance to beaches and restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed several meals on the spectacular lanai - there’s even a gas grill. And we had only great interactions with the property manager. I would absolutely love to stay here again and again.

Spacious home in the heart of Poipu. We had a party of 11 (adults, kids and grandparents) and the home was so accommodating with a very thoughtful living and sleeping space layout. The lanais and the common areas were fantastic for family time. Proximity to Poipu’s and other area attractions was excellent. Highly recommend this home!

We couldn't have rented a better place to stay in Kauai. The house was beautiful. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Amenities and beach items provided were so useful. Host had quick responses to questions when asked prior to stay. No communication needed during stay as the property was close to perfect. If I had to pick something to complain about it would be that there little ventilation/fans in basement including laundry room and dryers take more than one cycle to dry although this may be normal with the humidity (we live in a very dry climate).
Both are barely worth mentioning though and overall, it was a great place to stay and hope to stay there again.
