The location to the expressway and to downtown was great. We liked that the house was on a quiet cul-de-sac. We were really disappointed with the cleanliness of the house and the amenities in the kitchen. The property could use a few more upgrades. In the rooms that have carpet, the carpet is stained and needs to be cleaned. The bath towels are flimsy. Some nicer quality towels and more than 1 per person would be nice. The kitchen is not well stocked. There are random dishes and pans to cook with. Having dishtowels to dry dishes would be great as well. The knobs on the stove were dirty as were most of the dishes. We had to wash them before we used them. There were crumbs in the silverware drawer. There was something sticky on the table in the sunroom that we cleaned. The garbage disposal broke while we were there. While the owners were quick to respond, it took 2 separate trips to get it fixed. It was an inconvenience to our trip and there was no offer of compensation for that inconvenience. Additionally, there is a policy that you can't wear your shoes in the house. We were fine with that but it would have been nice to know before we arrived. If that is policy, it should be listed in the VRBO description. They did leave slippers to wear but I would have not put them on my feet as they looked dirty. You should provide new, clean slippers for each stay. We would likely not stay at the property again unless there are some upgrades made.

I needed a place for my husband & I and our 3 adult kids to stay for my mom's memorial. I didn't want to have to think about anything else and these folks had a good rating. The house is centrally located, near freeways, but in a good neighborhood. It's right on the edge of Willow Glen, a highly desirable area (go south on Meridian, turn left on Willow, and in a block you'll be at a lovely park with huge trees, flanked by charming homes... nice place for a walk). The immediate neighborhood has a somewhat dense concentration of homes, with nice apartments a block away. But the house is nicely situated on the corner of a cul-de-sac, so as soon as you enter the gate you're faced with a small yard probably larger than the neighbors', with a nice grassy area next to the sunroom. The owners have done a very nice job of creating a small oasis in a busy area. Plants line the edge of the yard. Besides the small lawn, there's a lovely little iron table and chairs on the small patio off the dining area, with plenty of flowers (including roses) adjacent. Nice place for coffee or breakfast in the morning. The owners apologized that they'd just learned AC wasn't working and the part wouldn't arrive for 2 days. We were away during the day and caught a nice breeze through open windows in the evening so it wasn't an issue. The kitchen had everything we needed, and each bedroom had sufficient bath towels. Only thing we couldn't find were dish towels. Would stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying at this house because it was very spacious, close to my son in Willow glen and a very quiet safe neighborhood. Although we didn’t do any cooking the kitchen appeared to be well equipped and it was nice to know we could do laundry if needed. We will definitely think about staying there next time we visit.

Really enjoyed the location and the quiet neighborhood. We had kids and there is a walkable park, a nearby Starbucks and donuts. I was really disappointed about the cleanliness of the home and the amenities in the kitchen. The home has carpet with lots of stains and smelled like animals. The kitchen had layers of grime and food on the cabinets. We choose VRBO over a hotel so we can cook for our kids and the kitchen had a hodge lodge of utensils and cookware, most of which I had to rewash before using. There were tons of crumbs in the silverware drawer. We arrived on a 96° day and the AC was off and it took almost 24 hours to cool the house down to a livable temperature. With some updates, it would be a nice property.

The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac, great location to get anywhere in the San Jose area. The check-in was very easy and the house user-friendly. The hosts gave great recommendations for food in the area. If we come back to town we’d definitely stay again!

This property was adequate for our needs. It was clean and in good working order. The beds upstairs are more firm than we like but we acknowledge that some people prefer that. There is a coffee pot but bring your own coffee. Otherwise you will need to go out in the morning. The yard was in full bloom and very pretty on the patio. Overall good experience and the location was close to where we were meeting up with family

The house was lovely, great location and close to downtown San Jose without the hustle and bustle. Very clean, and roomy. House was seen as listed and accommodated my family size of 6. The sunroom was our favorite place to sit and enjoy each other.

The place was just as advertised. It was clean and well supplied with everything we needed. The owner was quick to respond to questions. The neighborhood was quiet. The house had near by freeway accessibility. A very short drive to the airport. We would definitely stay again.

Property as described close to everything in Santa Clara. Master suite on ground floor and 2 additional bedrooms upstairs. Enough for 4 of us to spread out. Kitchen seemed fairly well stocked - we mainly ate out so never cooked. Responsive hosts. Would stay again.

We came to San Jose for a wedding and house was perfect! It was clean and tidy. I asked the property manager two questions over email and he responded promptly and helpfully both times. He even allowed us to get in the house early on check in day since we were early and my little kids were melting down. We so appreciated that! We could have used another set of bath towels but my two little kids were fine sharing a set. So to sum it up, we had a lovely stay, the house is beautiful, and we would return!!

Thank you for hosting us in your lovely home. It was quiet, clean, comfortable, cool with the central AC and bedroom ceiling fans, and exactly as pictured. Check in and out instructions were clear and easy to follow as well. Great commmunication with the hosts too.

The house is in a fantastic central location! Quiet and quaint neighborhood, and there is a park a two minute walk away for kids! We wished there were more blankets, pillows, and dish towels; but otherwise I highly recommend this home if you are traveling to the San Jose area!

This home was located on a very quiet street. The house was very clean, spacious, and the kitchen fully equipped. The appliances were all modern and in great working condition. We spent many nights visiting around the dining table, and every morning planning our day in the spacious sun room. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. Great place for our family of four for 8 nights. Good location: close to restaurants and access to freeways. We had a few maintenance issues at check in but the owners took care of it immediately. We enjoyed our stay here and will book again in the future!
