About this house rental
Enjoy a cozy stay at Bluff Mountain Cottage in Sevier Co. with comfy beds and a festive Christmas tree in December! This pet-friendly (w/fee) 2-bed, 2-bath home offers a spacious driveway and carport. Perfectly located, it's 20 mins from Knoxville, Sevierville, and Maryville, with easy interstate access. Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountains are just 35-40 mins away. Ideal for extended stays!
This is a cozy little house with everything you need to comfortably stay a while. The best thing about this house is it's convenient location. It is located in between Knoxville and Sevierville. You can enjoy Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Townsend, and Downtown Knoxville while avoiding heavy tourist traffic. You will love visiting the Great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood, or any other attractions offered in the area!
The kitchen if fully stocked with anything you may need to cook a meal. A charcoal grill is available, as well as a gas grill (bring your own propane tank).
Small dogs are ok! ($100 pet fee per dog - up to 2 only please.) We understand how important pets can be to you! So bring your small dog if you would like. A small and medium kennel are provided. There is a dog boarding facility nearby. Message me for details about the dog boarding.
The TVs are new smart TVs with access to a paid subscription to HULU.
There is a work space upstairs if you need to bring your work with you. The wifi works great!
You will have the entire house and yard. The driveway is big enough to turn around in so that you can pull out onto the road instead of backing into the road. The roads are flat and easily accessible.
The host is nearby if needed. I take great pride in making sure my houses are comfortable for guests. If anything is lacking, let me know. If you love something about the house, let me know that too!!
Seymour is located in between Knoxville and Sevierville/Pigeon Forge. It is a quiet town. It isn't as touristy as Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This allows for a much needed break from the hustle and bustle! The Food City is located 2 minutes away from the house. There is a Walgreens .3 miles from the house.
There is plenty of parking in the driveway. There is a 2 car port. There is room to turn a car around so you do not have to back out to access the highway.
There is a charcoal grill for the guest to use. There is also a gas grill, but the propane is not provided.
No cats allowed. Only two small dogs allowed. Dogs must be 20 pounds or less. Dogs are not to be left in the house unattended. They either need to go with you, stay in kennels provided, or stay at doggie day care (message me for more information about this). The pet fee is $100 per dog.

Property was close to the reason why we stayed in Seymour. House was kind of oldish so there was road noise constantly. Busy street kept front flood light coming on all through night. But everything worked and was clean. Great communication by Brenda.

We had an amazing time here. Everything was so easy from check in to check out. Definitely will be back here.

The home is on a busy highway - you will hear some traffic noise during the night and especially early in the morning. It is easy to reach Chapman Hwy to drive straight to Campus about 25 min away. We were appreciative our small dog could travel with us and the home shows no signs of previous pet visitors. Brenda is fast with communication and dropped off a fan for the upstairs. We would consider this home again.

We live near by and needed a place close for family coming in for a funeral. It was very clean and convenient for our situation. Thank you.

The place was very nice, communication was last minute. Best to provide most of the information right after booking and a reminder a few dats before. All the additional communications at the last minute is not fair or helpful. Knowing the rules early is better. Also the picture of the mountain was very misleading. I chose the place expecting mountain view not the road and having to walk across the street on a busy road to see the view. Otherwise I would consider stating again.

The property is very clean. It was very accommodating for our two dogs. Location is perfect being right on the highway. Host was phenomenal as far as communication with us. We will definitely stay at one of her properties again.

It was perfect. Centered for all the places we wanted to go. We enjoyed the Good Donut place near us. The dogs had a good time in the back yard.
We thank you for the coffee too.
We couldn't have picked a better place it was just perfect.
Thank you for letting us stay there. Hoping to rent it again next year.

Brenda’s house is very clean, cute, and full of special touches to make your stay very comfortable.
If you use the back bathroom shower, you have to pull the knob out pretty hard to get the water going. We didn’t realize it and thought it wasn’t working. But Brenda was on it and had her rep out quickly. Maria is awesome!!! We felt silly. Lol
Everything from tea, coffee, paper towels, shampoo and conditioner, Brenda has it covered.
The only reason we gave 3 stars for location is because the house is on a very busy, high traffic road off 411 highway. But, if you use the fans she provides, you won’t hear the traffic at night while sleeping. Getting in and out of the driveway is no issue because she’s made it easy to turn around and pull out safely. Brenda is very upfront about the location in her description.
Bottom line, the home is convenient to all the beautiful places you’ll want to visit in The Great Smoky Mountains! And the home has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Had a great time staying here. Brenda was great at communicating and getting ahold of when needed. Overall great location and not too far from anything you’d like to do in the area. I would definitely book again with Brenda.

We had a wonderful time and the cottage was perfect. The only bad thing is the busy road in front. But that wouldnt stop us from staying there again.

This was our first stay at this property and were very comfortable here. We had 4 adults and had more than enough room for everyone. The beds are super comfortable! Although the 2 bedrooms are connected by a door it still has privacy. The room upstairs was where our adult son slept and he really liked being separate and watching TV. The downstairs stays plenty cool and adding a fan to the upstairs kept it comfortable as well. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need as well as starter stuff such as coffee pods, creamer, sugar etc. The house is clean and well kept with the owner easily accessible (trust me…lol) The outside areas are nice with a fire pit sitting area. We really have no complaints about our stay and if visiting the area again would consider the house again.

This place is beautiful and so comfortable. My 23year old niece and I were here for 2 nights and enjoyed the country setting and convenience of being near to things in town.
The house is well appointed and very comfortable with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The living room and eat-in kitchen is perfect. My niece enjoyed sitting outback with the plugin lights just off the porch. Added bonus were all the lightning bugs each evening!
We were traveling for multiple reasons, but I wanted to be able to stay near Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and this place didn’t disappoint. I recently lost my husband and I knew I wanted to spend some time there at Greenbrier on the Little Pigeon River which is our favorite spot! So staying in Seymour is definitely convenient to all those places and with the added comfort of retreating to a beautiful, comfortable and peaceful home.
It’s truly refreshing to rent a place without having to contend with the clutter of someone else’s stuff.
Brenda has the place well decorated, but not too much stuff. And equally as important were the beds…very comfortable as well as the bedding choice.
I also chose the place because it was our stop before going to South Carolina for my nephew’s Marine graduation. I couldn’t show up without my homemade peanut butter brownies for him and his battalion! So having an open kitchen with lots of space was wonderful!
Thank you Ms Brenda for allowing us to come and stay!

Property and home are very well maintained and clean. Has all the comforts of home. Location was perfect for us to explore Knoxville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and surrounding areas without having to stay in a busy tourist city and spend a fortune. Mrs. Brenda was very attentive and prompt and made sure we had everything we needed for a great vacation! Would definitely stay here again!

It was really easy to travel to downtown and Gatlinburg from here! It was so nice say to get to a grocery, pharmacy, fast food, and gas station. The house is cute with a really nice BIG backyard - prefect for frisbee with the dogs!

Perfect for catching up with our adult children in the area and more comfortable and cost effective than a hotel. Able to cook meals easily for a small family. Kitchen has all we needed.

This was our 1st ever VRBO trip, and We came to TN during one of the coldest Winters ever! Brenda was amazing—she keeps a clean, cozy property that is in a FANTASTIC location close to everything a traveler would need. If it was warm enough, we could have walked to a donut shop or Food City. Also, a quick drive to Gatlinburg and Knoxville.
Since the temperatures were crazy unexpected, we did run into some issues that Brenda took care of IMMEDIATELY. She was so thoughtful, and called our personal phone to make sure everything was ok!
We will definitely visit again! We had everything we needed at her home. She thinks of everything. Beds in every room, pull out couches….plenty of space!

First of all very easy to find. Very convenient, easy access to major express ways. Walking distance to Walgreens and donuts and coffee. Short distance to food store. Nice walking path around local church, to walk my dog every day.
The house was very clean,. It has two full baths, two nice size bedrooms with queen size beds. Very comfortable beds. Nice size back yard. The house is off a little busy road during the day, mostly in the morning. It was really quiet at night, with the bedroom in the front of the house, you really didn’t hear the traffic at night.. we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Brenda.

One of our daughters is at a college only about 10 minutes from this home, so this was a perfect location for us. Bonnie was very responsive to our questions. Hopefully we’ll be able to stay here again when we come for visits!

Close enough to see things without dealing with the overcrowded areas. We only stayed one night, but I reccommend it. Brenda is super nice and kept in constant communication to make sure everything was fine.

Accommodations were not appropriate for advertisement
No hooks in any bathroom. Shower did not work in one of the bathrooms. Not enough furniture in living area. The advertisement stated home was for 4/6 people. We had 4 in house and only a sofa in the living room for seating and only 2 chairs in carport. Definitely need better accommodations for comfortable seating. Vents in the floor had not been cleaned in forever. Shower curtains were falling down. The outside wood on back patio was curling up, making easy to get splinters in hands. Outside tree limbs that had fallen and no one bothered to remove them, trashy and ugly. - also for varmints. One bedroom only had a bed, no table nor chest to put luggage on. Other bedroom was fine. Kitchen and living room was fine except for seating in LR. Need to re think 4/6 or accommodate home for seating accommodations. Thank you

Nice Place, Convienent. We Will Return
Overall, a nice place. The house has a lot of potential. Pet friendly was the biggest factor for us. The rear of the house has a large yard. The owner is very upfront about this house being on a busy road. It is. DO NOT leave your pets off leash here or walk along the road.
The kitchen had everything you could need for a short or extended stay. Very close to a comprehensive grocery store, gas stations and fast food. We highly recommend going to the Locals Eatery, it was so good on our first trip we went back a second time.
You will do some driving to get to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg or other attractions. This is the trade off of getting a decent house at a reasonable cost or a small cabin in the mountains at a high cost.
Overall, this house will be high on our consideration list for future visits.

May travels
Nice property, conveniently located and well equipped! Close to local businesses and just far enough away from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge to be quiet and calm. We traveled with our pooches and they loved the property as well. Host was attentive and booking was simple and easy! Would definitely stay again!!

Exceeded expectations.
The property met our trip needs and then some. The owner took extra steps to make our stay as much like home as possible. Even down to the Christmas tree and holiday atmosphere. We will definitely be considering her (Brenda) for future rentals. I believe we are finished with motels on our extended stays. Thank you for supplying quality owners. God bless!

Everything was great
It was very clean and had everything we needed. When we had to stay an extra night she had no hesitation to help us and made the process 10x easier! Will definitely stay again if it's available when we come again next month!

Nice size house with everything we needed
An older, well worn house, but it has been renovated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make healthy meals. The bed was comfortable and the shower water pressure and warm water was great after a day of mountain biking at Baker Creek Preserve (just 15 min away). The house does sit close to a very busy road, and we had to run the provided box fan to be able to sleep without ear plugs. The owner is very organized, responsive and pleasant to deal with.

Comfortable home in great location
Super easy check in instructions were emailed. Check in was easy. House was clean and very comfortable, beds and furniture. Back deck was nice, garage was great, kitchen was well stocked. Grocery store was 5 minutes away, dollar store and Walgreens also five minutes away. Way happier here than the traffic of pigeon forge however just a short 25 minute drive to pigeon forge and gatlinburg and short 25 minute drive to downtown Knoxville which was awesome (market square). a great stay and book marked for future stays!
