About this house rental

Do you love sunsets and all things ocean? Sunset Crush is aptly named and will have you crushing HARD over one of the most special Florida Keys traditions of all time: watching the sun dip down over the horizon. It's where life slows down a bit, the simple things are appreciated, and where memories are made. Relax in one of the various seating options while watching the westward sky erupt into oranges and reds and cotton candy skies emerge from the east. There truly is nothing like it!
Of course, the daytime bay views aren't too shabby either when swaying in the hammock taking in the salty breezes. The picturesque scenery continues once inside with a wall of windows, positioned to capture the sights.
Sunset crush is a historical conch house that has been lovingly refinished. The lofted nook, wood planked ceilings, and clawfoot tub ooze Keys Cham. The quartz countertops, modern fixtures, and updated flooring and baths provide today's comfort for easy living. You will find 3 nicely appointed bedrooms, a bonus room and two and a half bathrooms: the primary suite with attached bath; a guest room with two queens; and a bedroom with one queen. The house also has a separate laundry room for convenience during your stay. Bring the whole gang, there's room for everyone! The open concept kitchen and dining space flows into the living room, looking out the large picture windows to capture those beautiful bay views and priceless sunsets.

Sunset Crush is within a private neighborhood that has a boat ramp and first come first serve slips for easy boating access to the bay, and is located just a quick ride away from Tavernier Creek for ocean access. Onsite kayaks are available for additional water sport activity. Go explore the Mangroves and shore line where you will likely come across manatees, nurse sharks, and our other special Florida Keys wildlife.
The tropical setting of Sunset Crush is one designed to relax and enjoy the surroundings. This beautiful property is located in Tavernier which is centrally located between Key Largo and Islamorada. This was our second stay at this location, and it is still a wonderful property. As mentioned in my previous review, the hone is very comfortable and very nicely decorated, the views are spectacular, and the home is located in a great area near many good restaurants. The owners have provided kayaks, life jackets, fishing poles, and other items to help you enjoy your stay, and if you are a boater you are very close to Tavernier creek, for easy access to the Atlantic. Overall highly recommended!

Honestly, I don’t want to tell anyone how much we enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautiful. We were greeted our first night in the house with a beautiful sunset and a dolphin feeding in the cove. For many properties, the pictures show an optimistic view of the property, but not with this house. It is every bit as beautiful as you see in the pictures, and the pictures don’t do justice to the view from the home. The house is recently renovated and looks professionally decorated in a beachy vibe. The house is very well stocked for a long-term stay. The cookware is all new, including pots and pans, knives, silverware, baking sheets, etc. The owners seemed to have thought about every need in advance. The appliances all seem new and are very nice. The owners took many small steps to ensure you have what you need, including many small touches. There are 4 kayaks available along with a selection of life jackets, as well as beach chairs and a few fishing rods. The house is well designed to take advantage of the beautiful view. All of the living spaces with the exception of the 4th bedroom have a beautiful view of the water and the sunsets. The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of closet space and dresser space. Each bedroom has a flat-screen TV, and one bedroom had a video game console. There are two full baths and an additional half bath, all convenient to the three primary bedrooms. My wife and I were both working remotely and on video conferences all day, with no issues. The Property Manger, Drew, was excellent. She was very responsive to any questions we had. The property was professionally cleaned before we arrived and was spotless. I have stayed at a number of properties and have never seen this level of service before. One item of note: The 4th bedroom, which is shown having a large desk, is actually the primary entrance to the house from the parking area. This is almost like a fully enclosed lanai or Florida room. In the pictures the desk is shown on the wall where the bunkbeds are now, and the desk is on the other wall. This section is not refinished like the other areas of the house. This wasn’t any type of issue for us, and we actually used this area for storage, but if you were counting on four bedrooms, recognize this area is different than the other bedrooms shown so that you aren’t disappointed. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property.
