Property is in a great location. Walk to everything! Back patio was wonderful and private. While the house is still located steps from the beach. Could not ask for a better stay.

The house was very comfortable and the location was 10
Was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay
One bed downstairs appeared to be broken. You may want to look at that not very comfortable for the couple that stayed there .
Would have been great if the outside patios weee clean and sprayed for spiders
We will rent again. The family enjoyed the beach access etc.
Thanks !

Perfect location and wonderful home! We had a wonderful time. The story of the home was the best! We realized our Grandparents were great friends with the owner’s family and for sure attended cocktail parties there. Our Grandparents were Ed and Ellen Gallivan❤️

This large and comfortable home is a great gathering place to enjoy the lakeside city of Coeur D'Alene, ID. We held a family reunion in the house and its location was an easy few blocks to downtown stores and restaurants, as well as parks, walking trails on Tubbs Hill, the marina and the city beach. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great house! Perfect for a family with small kids. Fenced back yard. Conveniently located to downtown and lake. Great park next door. Cable did not work in the living room. Upgrade to satellite would be nice.

Our family stayed at this CDA home September 29-October 8. A total of 9 nights. Upon arriving, the home was very clean and communication with Vacation Authority was excellent for our check in and check out. The large hot tub was nice and worked well in the back beautiful courtyard. We stayed here for the location and yes it was just what we expected with beautiful views of Lake Coeur d' Alene. We loved the double ovens in the kitchen which looked brand new and the office near the kitchen. Some things that could be done to make the house more comfortable would be to replace the mattress in the master bedroom upstairs as it was uncomfortable and lumpy, put one rocking chair or glider upstairs, install a new cooktop in the kitchen, enlarge the downstairs bathroom as it is inadequate for the 3 bedrooms downstairs, put a dresser in the large bedroom downstairs, purchase some metal bowls for mixing and serving large salads, purchase a hand mixer as I couldn't find one. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the location of the lake, park, and pickleball courts.

Overall the experience was very nice. This was our second stay at this property. We enjoyed ourselves greatly. Property management handled a couple problems quickly. Improvements for an even better stay would be cleaner outdoor areas upon arrival, some updates to some older items (quality bedding, window coverings, new umbrella). Also, it would be nice to have some basic condiments, seasonings, oils, and other cooking items).
We will more than likely stay at this property again as it is very comfortable and one of the best possible locations for an enjoyable stay.

The house has a perfect location, easy to get to. Once there you hardly need a car, most everything is in walking distance. The walking is safe and very clean. NO litter, police presence on bike, golf cart and car. At 10 pm there is no noise, only moonlight and cool breezes. Lovely experience.

We were in town for the Ironman and it was literally the best spot in town for the race. The views from the living room are insane, almost too good to be true. We arrived and were unpacking when a sea plane landed right in front of us, incredible! Location was 10 out of 10.
Aside from location, the house was perfect for our family of 7. Plenty of space for all of us, the dogs loved the back yard, the jacuzzi was amazing. The kitchen was fully equipped and we had some amazing meals there. I even was able to charge my EV there!
Extremely happy we rented this home and I hope we can do it again soon. We made core memories here...we need more.

We rented this iconic home for a family reunion and birthday. Our children grew up in CDA, playing on the beach and in the parks.
This year we rented this home for the 8 of us. It is steps away from the CDA city beach and the CDA city park. It is easy to see why so many people love to visit our town when we see it from this vantage.
There is more than enough room for privacy as well as togetherness in this home. The patios (there are 2!) offer a welcome view of the people passing by, and also a totally private place to enjoy some solitude and listen to the water flowing through the water feature. The back green space holds a nice hot tub that is also entirely private.
We had a wonderful local chef from "Melons Catering" do a family dinner for us that was spectacular. She was able to cook in the well-appointed kitchen, and we were able to enjoy a gourmet meal together without leaving home.
We have traveled extensively, but this stay allowed us to see a wonderful side of our little town.

Father’s Day weekend in CDA. It slept everyone great, we needed 4 bedrooms. We cooked breakfast and grilled steaks and house provided everything we needed. Loved walking downtown. Great house to people watch from as you are right on the lake and the park. Definitely would stay here again.

Our two family stayed in this home and we really enjoyed spending time at the beach, at the park and relaxing out front looking at the beautiful scenery.

This property really was an amazing location and a great place to stay. The kitchen was well furnished, the seating areas comfortable and its in a quiet neighborhood. My only complaint, and it was a big one for us, was the VERY poor internet stability and quality. I chose this location as an executive retreat, where we could strategize our plans for the coming year, and the internet was broken more than it was connected. Not sure if its a modem or ISP issue, but this really should be fixed. Other than that, great stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, right at the lake. Our son enjoyed the amazing park right across the street & we all enjoyed walking on the beach across the street. It's perfect walking distance to all the downtown shopping & dining too. The house was clean & had plenty of space, plus a perfect yard for our toddler, & a hot tub! The house was also full of games for a family to play, perfect for rainy or cold days. & just open the curtains to take in the beautiful view of the lake & mountains.

We had a great time, the location is perfect and we walked into town several times. Loved the park across the street and the playground for our grandkids. The house is somewhat dated but we didn't mind, the baseboard heaters are a bit loud but once we understood the sound it was ok.
8.0 / 10.0
First up: The key box is tucked behind the mailbox. It took us far too long to find it, as it's hidden from almost every angle.
The location is every bit as great as it appears in the listing. Right across from the lake in one direction and across from the park in the other. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the living room, and our dog enjoyed easy access to outdoor spaces.
The house was great for our party of 5 (3 adult siblings, one spouse, and one adult child), with enough dining and living room space for everyone. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking equipment, and roomy enough for multiple cooks. Our only complaint on the kitchen front was the downdraft ventilation for the cooktop, which was inadequate for the cooking we did.
Our biggest complaints were the mattresses. Users of the two kings and the queen reported the beds were uneven, like they'd been occupied by only one person for a long time and not rotated. Not uncomfortable, but weirdly sloped. My daughter reported one of the twin beds as way too squishy (for her).
For the owner: It would be really easy to make the home handicap accessible. It looked like a grab bar by the toilet had been taken out of the upstairs ensuite bath. With the shower bars already in place, adding that back in makes sense (and you could stash a ramp for the short front step in the garage).

We had a great weekend in CDA. The house location was awesome, allowing us to walk to town and enjoy the park across the street. The house has a modern kitchen and a beautiful back yard. This large, older home was nice and clean, but could use some TLC. The day we arrived was rainy and chilly, so we turned on the heat. The pipes in the walls clanked loudly every time the heat kicked on, waking us all many times during the night. Luckily the weather cleared, so we turned off the heat. The mattresses were very saggy, and we had difficulty turning the master shower water off.

We had a 4 day stay at this location and requested a follow-up response. the first morning regarding a smoke smell in the house as well as cleanliness of the inside furniture.
We received an email from the property manager after we checked out on the 4th day. This was after the third request to receive a call back to discuss other issues with the property.

The Good: the house location is about as good as it gets. It is on a corner across the street from a park and the lake. It is a short walk to the resort. We couldn’t be happier with the location.
The Bad: the neighbors! There were only four of us staying at the house and we tried to use the hot tub at night like most people would. We were not loud. We were talking and enjoying the evening. The first night we were greeted by the local PD due to a noise complaint. The officers were great and said we were not being loud but they received a compliant and had to make the visit. The second night the officers came again and we made a point to keep our voices down due to the prior night. It is obvious the neighbor does not want renters in the home and they are filing complaints to try and force the issue. At no point did anyone have the courtesy say anything to us, they simply started by calling the PD. The following day I also received communication that the neighbor called the rental company and that if there was another complaint we would be asked to leave. Very frustrating on our side. We are four 40+ year old professionals and were not being loud or obnoxious in any way.
If you plan to use the hot tub or sit on the patio make sure you are inside by 8pm or you will receive a visit from the local officers. To their credit they were very friendly because it sounds like they have been to the house before.
Other than the neighbor issue the home is older and could use to be updated but it was nice enough and the location is amazing.

Could not ask for a better location in CDA. Outstanding lake views with easy access to downtown. Property is large and well-equipped, with nice outdoor spaces. Only drawback was that the king-size beds needed new mattresses.

This home was a great size for a family getaway. Couldn’t have asked for a better location.
10.0 / 10.0
The house was wonderful. I think the location is the best place in all of CDA, the big picture windows not only gave great light but also for the views to watch the activities around us. Both patios were used a lot as was the hot tub. The only downside was the bathroom layout. For 3 bedrooms with different families and only one bathroom downstairs was sometimes a challenge. Even if there was a half bath down there it would help. On the easier side to fix, there were only 4 wine glasses, not many spoons and the regular coffeepot needs upgrading. Also the mattress in the master bedroom is too old. The complaints are just for your information because all 8 of us loved the house, the locaton, the space and the ambiance. Thank you very much for sharing. Ann

Great position
The position was great. VRBO and the property managers were marvelous!! But the Wi-Fi was terrible. I went to Couer D Alene ID for Treatment of an illness and decided to stay in a VRBO property rather than a Motel. Thought it would be more relaxing for me. I was thinking I could relax on the couch and watch TV or on my computer while being sick in between treatments each day but the TV programmes no mater what we were watching kept going back to the beginning and my computer and phone stopped altogether. Management tried to help but it only lasted a couple of hours and went back to not working again. It was very frustrating for me. I also felt the house needed a bit of renovation. Its a bit older. Oh and the main bedroom up stairs needs to change their mattress. It was more than well warn. I just sunk into it. Very uncomfortable. But as I said the staff and VRBO were great and the position was to die for.
