The space
We invite you to make this place your launch pad for all things adventure and business! This space is not old and updated to feel nicer like some properties... this is BRAND NEW THROUGHOUT! Your focus while in town should be on all things "you" so we try our best to provide everything you need to be comfortable in your accommodations so you can be on point!
Whether you are traveling for work or play, or a little of both, our place offers your own private area with no shared space (other than the back yard).
You will arrive and park on the huge dedicated guest off-street parking behind our large gates and will be able to walk right down to your basement entrance with large gradual stairs descending to the natural light filled french doors into your own space!
Self Check-in property, with smart lock/electronic lock access with a code unique to you.

Our walk-out basement apartment was built & finished a couple years ago now! Bright, clean and spacious.
Bedroom 1- Queen Bed, Master attached bath- shower/tub & modern double vanity sink. (Sleeps 2)

Bedroom 3- Full-Over-Full Bunk Beds (sleeps up to 4)
2nd Bathroom has Shower sink and toilet.

You will have access to the entire basement apartment (1600SQFT) 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, your own laundry area.
You may use the backyard as well! Huge lush lawn area and a kid's Play set in the bark. You accept any and all risk of injury for you and your guests.
You have your own dedicated cement side yard parking and we do not allow you to park on the street, in order to keep the attention down in the neighborhood we do ask/require that you park behind the large vinyl fence/gate on the south side of the property! plenty of room to park your larger vehicles too!

You also agree to pay for the "additional guest fee" associated with your reservation if applicable (just because it can sleep up to 8 doesn’t necessarily mean it's all included in the nightly rate). You understand that this listing has full-time tenants and/or owners living above and it is important that you and they are respectful of noise and quiet hours.
3) This is a self-check-in property: You certify that you are willing and able to follow the instructions that are being provided by vrbo through the house manual or check-in guide. You can find our house manual and check-in guide here on the platform on our listing. You also agree that you will not contact your vrbo host BEFORE reading the house manual and the entire listing.
4) Fee's: There is a minimum $200 per day fee for every day of your booking if it is found that you have been smoking on the property. There is a minimum $50 LATE CHECKOUT FEE if you are there longer than you have been authorized as our housekeeper charges us in such a case. You further agree to compensate the host/co-host in full for any financial loss that is suffered as a result of breaking of the rules set forth.
5) Quiet Hours are after 10pm-8am. Please be aware that you are below an upstairs unit, and you may hear them during your stay and they will likely hear you, similar to a hotel, condo or apartment and they can likely all hear you the same. Please be mindful of others.
6. Animal policy- we do allow well behaved/house trained dog. You must agree to our “zero impact” pet policy, which means that upon departure there will be no additional cleaning or work needed as a result of your pet traveling with you. We do charge a $25/night/ per pet fee which helps cover the cost of short term rental insurance allowing for pets. They are not allowed on any furniture or carpeted areas. Our house is next to a busy road. You accept full responsibility for the safety of your pet in regards to vehicles and running out in the street. Please keep your pets on leash when you take them outside to be safe.7. Please remove shoes/boots in the entry as you enter the unit. SKI Equipment and bike or other recreational equipment must be kept in our appropriate ski rack area only
8. Alternations may result in some cases include a change fees, as much as 50% of the lost revenues with a shortened stay. In some cases, like when a trip has already started or is close enough to the start date, there are no refunds offered for an alteration shortening your stay. You host reserves the right to decide case by case otherwise.. If there are any signs of illegal drugs or smoking you will pay a minimum fee of $250 or more as decided by your host AND you will be required to vacate without refund.10. WE DO HAVE, AND DO MONITOR OUR EXTERIOR SECURITY CAMERA(s) for guest count compliance and for the safety of our property and that our our guests. :) The cameras are motion activated and can record video and audio. It was a fabulous place for all of us to stay on our trip out west. It was so comfortable, clean and decorated beautifully.
We loved the layout of the condo and felt like we were home away from home. Would definitely go back and would recommend it to everyone!

My friends walked in and saw that there was no real division between the main floor and the guest place. There was just a baby gate separating the two. It was loud and you can hear ever step upstairs. My friends left and a request for refund of the stay was denied. Beware.

Stayed for a week and everything was perfect! Prior to our stay he messaged me to see if there were any special needs or requests. I asked if they had a pack n’ play for our granddaughter to sleep in. He said they did and even had it all set up for us upon arrival and then checked on us half way through the week to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. Great little place! Highly recommend!

This was a great place! The yard was fenced with a little playground which was great for our kiddos. The place was quiet, clean, and such a wonderful haven forbus during our stay in Utah. Definitely will rebook and would recommend this place to everyone!

As soon as we paid for this rental, I got a list of rules about no local people allowed, no extra people, concern about parking and a warning there are security cameras watching our comings and goings. We did have 3 vehicles because we came to the wedding of my daughter from different parts of the country, so it was nice to know where and how to park.
Due to the volcano ash not allowing us to leave Alaska on time, we had to borrow a car from a sister in the area, so I felt a need to and did report that we had a local license plate.
We picked this place because it was pet friendly and 2 of my boys had dogs they needed to bring with them. 2-3 days into our stay I got a message stating they noticed we have two big dogs (who are Med size) that I had not reported. (I was never asked about the dogs on our registration). and that I needed to report their breeds and would have to clean well enough to have no impact due to the dogs and would have to pay for them. I didn't mind cleaning well and did clean very well, but did not understand why I would have to clean so as not to tell the dogs were there and pay for them to be there. Chad did wave the charge which was nice- because I cleaned well.
My husband wanted to do a walkthrough with the cleaning lady who showed up as we were waiting for my ride to the airport, but the door lock would not work- which happened one other time while we were staying there.
The next day I got a notice from Chad asking about a missing light bulb. While I did use the lamps in the bedroom and living room, I did not even notice a lamp in the dining room- which later he said was missing one. I offered to pay for the bulb if he thought we had taken it and have not heard back from him. ---Too bad my husband could not walk through with the cleaning lady.
The place was homey, nice and clean (when we first showed up there was trash and debris all over the stairs to the apt, which gave the impression of a dirty, trashy place, which it was not, there just had recently been big winds. We picked up the trash and swept the stairs to make it more comfortable for me.) It was welcoming and comfortable for us and had fun snacks available when we got there. Hopefully, for anyone who rents here, all of the rules will be made clear before you pay.

Everything went really smooth. The set up was perfect. Parking was very convenient. It didn’t feel like a basement. The only down point was that it did have a DVD player for us to watch Yellowstone. Lol. Working with Chad was a delight. We would definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed it

Nice place! Thank you for the stay. We should have turned up the heat when we arrived and dropped off our luggage and left to go out for dinner, when we returned it was so cold inside and took a long time to warm up (cold december night). Nice and quiet, very comfortable and roomy!!!!

We came here for a girls trip. When we got there, the yard looked unkept, but we looked past that. When we got to the front door there was a note saying we might have to shake the lock to get it to work. We got the door opened and when we went inside, the smell was awful. It smelled like a teenage boys room that someone had sprayed a gallon of sickeningly sweet air freshener in. We could not get the front door to lock again either. We could not stay there between the smell and not feeling safe because of the lock. I called the owner to see what could be done and I was told they could bring febreeze and we were perfect you safe because the owners relatives were upstairs. That was still not ok and did not solve the problem. He argued with me more. I asked if, since it was short notice, we could pay for the first night and get our money back for the rest and he refused to work with us. He sent a video to show us that it didn’t smell. ??? I am having to call Vrbo over this and still haven’t gotten it resolved. We ended up getting a hotel room. Be warned if you reserve here.

This basement apartment was bright, updated, and perfectly clean. It had plenty of room for my husband and I and our four children to relax on the couch or by the breakfast bar. The owner provided plenty of kitchen items (dishes, cups, plates, utensils, pots and pans, etc.) and starter supplies (dishwasher tabs, toiletries, laundry soap) and the snacks were a pleasant surprise! When we had one issue, the manager immediately answered our message and the problem was fixed within the hour. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and family-friendly (lots of sidewalks for walking), yet the grocery store and restaurants are super-close. The location was perfect for us because we had lots of activities planned from Salt Lake to Provo and also in the mountains, and the location gave us quick access to major roads while being tucked away. Although I don't have small children anymore, I noticed it had plug covers in every unused outlet, a baby-gate on the stairs up, and a step-stool in the bathroom, making it good for those with toddlers. We visited in summer, but I noticed the stairs down to the basement are covered, so they won't get icy in winter. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time. The rental is beautiful and well-stocked with cooking and baking supplies. We have 6 kids, and we were comfortable in the apartment with all 8 of us. The neighborhood is beautiful with easy access to a fantastic grocery store and many restaurants. Also easily accessible to both Salt Lake and Utah valley.
The unit has heaters throughout but does not have air conditioning and did get a little stuffy at night in some of the bedrooms on a couple of the nights we stayed. They do have fans and most nights were fine. Those two nights were just after really really hot days where the evening didn’t cool off very well. The manager did text with me about ideas how to stay cool by opening windows, etc which helped some.
All in all the stay was fantastic. We would definitely stay again.

Great Stay
Stayed here for three weeks in June. Booking and checking was a breeze and property manager is very responsive to any needs that may arise. The basement is very nicely furnished and more spacious than I had anticipated. The backyard is shared with the main house but our kids loved the swing set and there was never any problems. Location is great between Provo and SLC . We will definitely return next summer.

Awesome apartment
This property is amazing! Completely stocked from thick, large towels to a kitchen with all that you need and more. The luxury of the place made us feel like we were vacationing at a high end resort while we had all we needed to live day to day during our stay. Property manager was super responsive and we had no issues at all during our stay. We plan to book again this winter for our next trip. Best VRBO we’ve stayed in yet.

This is the best stocked vrbo we have ever stayed at. They have thought of everything. It was so clean and comfortable. It’s close to many stores, I-15,, restaurants, and fun activities.

Great basement apt but upstairs tenants were pretty loud most of the weekend and the walls are pretty thin but over all a good stay.

Clean, welcoming, everything you need
This property was pristine, and we were welcomed with a fully stocked kitchen (waffle maker was a nice perk) in addition to a coffee bar, water bottles, and snacks. The beds were very comfy and clean, and the showers were stocked. Everything we needed was laid out in a very nice manner, and the hosts were extremely easy to communicate. About 30-40min from Park City and Ikon ski destinations (Brighton, Solitude, Snowbird, Alta) and the drive is very easy. Overall excellent stay, the home couldn't be more accomodating.

Great space for our family
Came in town for my mother's 80th. Perfect location as we have family in the area. We also skied while we were there. Easy access to I-15. Snowbird about 40 minutes away.
We did not find out till just before arrival that the space was a unit underneath a family house with residents living above. It felt a little strange and first but we settled in.
The space was very well thought out. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Super clean and they've done an amazing job with the window wells. You DO NOT feel like you are in a basement. There is an incredible amount of natural light that comes in.
3beds and 2 baths and a huge laundry room. We were very comfortable and will definitely stay again when we go home to visit!

What an amazing long weekend!
Loved this cozy house. So clean and comfortable. Had everything you could ever want. Kitchen was better equipped than my own home. We only ate takeout one evening. Loved the little extras. Snacks provided and Keurig with an amazing variety of beverage choices. Would definitely stay there again!!
