We loved this place! This was a great opportunity for our family to stay is a historical home with modern touches. We had plenty of space and walked to the down town area for dinner. We biked to the amazing church and beach area. We would most definitely stay here again and highly recommend our great hosts!

Everything a small group of people could need can be found right here. The host has stocked the house with plenty of everything you could possibly think of for a short (or long!) stay. The house is located almost perfectly between the main strip of shops and the harbor/shoreline. Easy walking distance to either. We greatly enjoyed our stay in this quaint little town.

We had a wonderful stay in that house. Very well situated (walking distance from Kennebunkport center in a calm residential spot), the house is incredibly charming and cozy, with a "rustic chic" vibe, super clean and well equiped. The host is exceptionnaly fast to answer questions and to be sure that everything is OK and that we enjoy the stay, with tons of little details / attentions for us. Thank you Katie for everything, we will be back!

My friends and I had our wonderful girls trip to the Mary Jane House! This is the second time we have stayed here and it was amazing experience. Can't wait to go back again next year!

Typical New England house with its warm and comforting atmosphere. We felt at home immediately when we entered it. Perfectly suitable for a small family. And the owner put small taste surprises in several places in the house 😊. And the most important, the owner answer our email very quickly and stay in touch for everything.

We loved the Mary Jane House. The home is full of character and cozy beyond our expectations. The host was incredibly thoughtful, leaving personal touches in every room. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer !

We stayed in the Mary Jane Cottage during prelude 2022 - and had a wonderful time. The house was absolutely perfect for our needs - my husband and I brought our two young children. Separate rooms meant everyone got a good night's sleep. The house was well equipped with just about everything you could possibly need - no need for a last-minute shopping stop to pick up missing items! Plus the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas - so in our three-year-old's mind - this will forever be called "The Christmas House". We hope to make this a yearly tradition. :)

Clean, convenient, well-stocked, quiet house walkable to downtown. Favorite part was the morning kayaks on the river - short stroll from the house.

First of all, the pictures on the VRBO site do not do this house justice, lovely as they are. It is even more beautiful. The bedrooms were super comfortable and the kitchen provisions left by host were exceedingly generous. We loved having use of the bikes provided by the host. I had a few questions while we were there and Katie, our host, got back to me in minutes each time. We all loved our stay there!

My husband and I were here for a very short visit (one night) on our way from Bar Harbor to Logan airport. Great location for the visiting the cute and beautiful town of Kennebunkport. Comfortable bed and appreciated the bottle of wine and snacks provided. Also, Katie let us check in early because the unit was ready. Thank you!

We’ve been visiting Kennebunkport for 20+ years and this is our first experience with a VRBO. We are so happy that we discovered Katie and her beautiful historic property. The location cannot be beat with walking distance to town square for shopping and restaurants. Our host was very gracious in allowing our furbabies. Tucker and Bodie, to stay as well and we have never seen them so comfortable away from home. All the amenities required are provided and Katie is always available to answer questions. We look forward to visiting next year and hope the opportunity to stay here is available.

We have finally returned to Maine post pandemic, after yearly family trips, and Katie's home was a welcome restart. My husband, mom-in-law, and 3 kids enjoyed our stay. She left us a very thoughtful care package. We even enjoyed the quaity bath and soap products. We enjoyed short walks into town and close drives to our favorite beaches. The home had everything we needed. Katie was incredibly responsive anytime we had a question. Our stay was very relaxing and pleasant! Thank you!

Katie really went out of her way to make it feel like a five star vacation. So many amenities and welcome gifts, bikes and kayaks and everything you need to feel at home. The house is beautiful - the stairs are quite steep so might be a problem for people with mobility issues. I will absolutely be back!

Charming house, great location!
We loved our stay in this charming historic home in the heart of Kennebunkport! It was so clean and comfortable with plenty of room for our family of 4. The kitchen is well stocked if we wanted to cook and plenty of coffee and tea and Katie also leaves snacks such great hospitality! It's so nice to be able to walk to Dock Square and many other points of interest and restaurants too. The bikes were a great bonus! We took several biking tours to nearby beaches and to Walker's Point and Cape Porpoise. We will rent this house again for sure when we get back to Kennebunkport!

Sweet home, sweet location, sweet owner
I can’t say enough good things about this home or about Katie. From our first communication to our last, Katie was diligent, thoughtful and so quick to reply. We’re frequent visitors to Kennebunkport and we were so excited to find this house. It’s in a perfect location — right around the corner from Dock Square but just far enough from the bustle of shops and restaurants to have some privacy. Our daughters loved being able to walk to get treats at the coffee shop. The house itself has everything a family could need, including kayaks, bikes and BRAND NEW beach chairs and towels. We couldn’t get over the quality of the towels — the new bath towels too! Usually I bring my own beach chairs and towels because if they’re supplied by rentals they’re typically not my style or just kind of old. Not Katie’s! Oh, and the library! If you forget your beach read, don’t worry. There are so many great books in one of the bedrooms. My husband did forget his book so he borrowed one for the beach and was so grateful. Little touches like full ice cube trays, bottles of water and chocolates in every bedroom, a tray of snacks and treats, complimentary wine and beer in the fridge, and the adorable Mary Jane House tote bag with more treats inside… We just couldn’t get over the attention to detail and the care that’s been put into this home. We fit two cars, a Jeep and a truck, in the driveway. We enjoyed the Smart TV each night after dinner. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were tastefully decorated. The side porch was lovely for coffee in the morning. Neighbors were all pleasant. We will absolutely be back!

We used the bikes and loved being able to hang out all together in the downstairs and on the deck. the place is so cute and all of the little touches were so thoughtful! We love the Mary Jane house! Can’t wait to come back!

Cozy and Charming!
My husband and I loved staying at the Mary Jane House. Perfect location for walking into Kennebunkport. Bedrooms were very cute and comfortable. The two rooms with full sized beds are connected, so I’d say it’s perfect for two couples or a family with kids. Will definitely stay again!
