About this apartment rental
Situated in the historic City of Wells, these newly refurbished apartments are the ideal way to enjoy Wells and it surrounding areas.
This historic property built in 1843 with original beams and features runs along The Cheddar Valley Line, which ran from Yatton railway station through to Cheddar and Wells, became known as the “Strawberry Line” because of the volume of locally grown strawberries that it carried to London markets. Strawberries were collected from a string of Cheddar Valley village settlements sheltered under the southern slopes of the Mendip Hills between Cheddar and Wells for transporting to Yatton Junction. The line was also a vital economic link for passengers, quarrying, agriculture and general goods.
Apartment 1 has a fully equipped kitchen, including Induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher and integrated fridge as well as utensils and dinning sets for at least 6 people.
Next to the kitchen is a comfortable living area with a large sofa, which can be extended into a double bed. After a busy day viewing the historic city of Wells and surrounding areas, why not sit back and watch your favourite television shows on the expansive 55inch television.
Adjacent to the kitchen and living area is a wonderful dining area for at least 6 people, framed with original beams and modern lighting.
Down the hallway you will find 2 bedrooms and the bathroom.
Both bedrooms are with zip and link beds that can be set up as single or joined to form a super-king size double bed. If not requested otherwise one bedroom will be set up as super king and other as twin.
Newly fitted bathroom is on the end of the hallway which consists of a toilet, hand basin and walk in shower.
In the front hallway, across the apartment entrance, you can also find a utility room which is for sole use of this apartment, that consists of a washing machine, tumble dryer and large fridge freezer, you will also have an iron and ironing board available to you.
There is a Wifi throughout the property and the private parking for one car but more can be organised.
Sofa bed: Please note the sofa bed will be set up for bookings of 5 - 6 people. There is an extra charge if you would like the sofa bed set up for groups of 4 people and under. Please get in touch with us to organise this.
