Quiet cabin only 5 minutes from everything. Clean and comfortable, the gas fireplace was a dream on the cool mornings!!

We loved location, cleanliness and first floor living! Great value!

It was just okay. Nothing spectacular. No view. Dirty outside. Inside was decent, but only surface cleaned. Found food under bed and dresser in bedroom. Outdated. Light bulbs out in some rooms. Needs updating. Overall, it had all the necessities. A place to lay my head, but would not return or recommend to others.

Would recommend this place, it was better than we were expecting. Nice touches of things included like dishwasher and washing machine soaps for use. Only a few downsides, no hair dryer in the bathroom and the rose bush in the driveway scratched our car paint. Park out towards the street to avoid. Otherwise a great place and location.

It's a nice house and was clean. There were some maintenance issues. The upstairs toilet needs a new flapper, the downstairs toilet runs continuously unless you hold the handle up. The kitchen was not well stocked. There was exactly one wine glass and not a single mixing bowl. I used a sauce pot to mix ingredients for a quiche. The ice maker was jammed up but we fixed it.
By far the worst of it was the internet which was unusable most of the time. Absolutely no signal half the time. I reset the wi-fi and router multiple times to no avail. The other big bummer was the unlocking the door initially. Although I found the property on VRBO, it was managed through Vacasa. Vacasa did not send me instructions for opening the door, only the code, although they claimed they did. Once I understood the steps to open and lock the front door we were fine, but it took some time on the phone with Vacasa. It was not intuitive and the Vacasa phone support was exasperating.

Warm, cozy and comfortable cabin that we can't wait to go back to again! Great location and close to everything. Very clean, especially for a pet-friendly home. Loved everything about this place (except front door entry). Support staff were most helpful and very responsive.

Loved everyrhing about this locarion and trip. We would definitely do it again!

House was clean enough inside, could use some extra cleaning in places, outside does not match pics on listing at all, if you're just here to wash and sleep, it's a great place at a great price

The home was very nice , could stand to update the cooking pots and pans but overall was a fantastic experience. Deer was everywhere in the area so be careful driving, we will definitely rent again

We loved everything about this property. Close and convent to food, groceries activities. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect! Cute home, very clean upon arrival, and had everything we needed for our stay. The wifi was temperamental, but the vacasa chat helped us reconnect. Definitely recommend this place!

This was an amazing stay! Seemed new and smelled like wood, no musty smell from the wood. Did get a scary vibe from upstairs, but I’m weary of ghosts. The key was hard to find and had to call customer service. Would stay again if we had guests upstairs instead of it being empty. We had our honeymoon and will forever have our love for it.

My fiancé and I enjoyed the cabin. We decided to extend our North Carolina vacation and added Boone as our first stop before heading to Asheville. The cabin was beautiful and was just as described. We loved it and can’t wait to come back.

Very quiet and peaceful- clean except for the refrigerator and there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Took us forever to find the coffee for the carafe. When we did there were old coffee grounds in the coffee maker. Bring your own coffee. Other than those things it was perfect. The upstairs was very pretty and nice but we didn’t use it. I’d go back even though the kitchen wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been.

Overall great stay. Very disappointed with Vacasa. Over communications was good as long as according the standard script. Given a two week stay, we had a simple question about how the trash was disposed of, which Vacasa could never answer. They initially falsely claimed we had to dispose of it ourselves. Felt like I’d was talking with a computer that wasn’t programmed properly. As a short term rental property owner, I would definitely be disappointed by this service.

Where to begin! The biggest problem was that we had no Wi-Fi and cable for the first 4 days. And no cell service meant we were completely cut off from the world. Not what we paid for! My daughter and son-in-law needed contact with work and left after 3 days for a hotel. That ended the family vacation. Turns out the owner didn’t pay the spectrum bill and service was cut off. I had to stand on a hill behind the house to call or text the property manager. Had I been able to contact them more easily, I could asked my other questions and reported the other problems and that might have made the week more enjoyable. The other issues/ questions-
There were ticks! Found one the bed within an hour of checking in. I have pictures.
There were no helpful hints or instructions for anything.
The fireplace didn’t work and we could not contact anyone to ask for instructions.
The dryer cuts off after about 15 minutes and was very hot. Maybe the vent is blocked. The dryer wouldn’t be a big deal if there were more than 3 very thin towels that needed to washed after a couple of days. Someone should check before there’s a fire.
A cutting board would be nice. Didn’t want to use plates or counter tops for cutting.

Really gorgeous property hidden in between Boone and Grandfather Mountain. Shulls Mill Rd. Gives you fast access to the BRP or downtown Blowing Rock. A pretty property itself that is tucked away. I was worried the pictures listed on VRBO were exposed longer to give the impression of great lighting. I was wrong.. The house has amazing lighting inside and it looks just like the pictures provided. The property has fast internet and the gas grill is hooked up to the house supply and will not run out. I had a technical issue I was able to fix with the TV.
Vacasa manages this property and I was able to come to an agreement on reimbursement for the technical issue but it took a few more back and forth messages than would have happened with a single person.

We stayed here for our 9year old twins birthday weekend. My parents joined and the kids slept in the loft area on the pull out couch. Overall the place was clean however the pull out couch mattress on the downstairs sofa is filthy and needs a new mattress. The sofa upstairs was ok. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need to cook with as far as pots/pans and utensils however it would have been nice to have things like oil, aluminum foil and such. Overall it was a good stay, location was so perfect! 10 minutes to almost anywhere in Boone and 20/30 Blowing Rock.

We loved the floor plan, the location and the ambiance with the gas fireplace.

This is the second time we have stayed in this cabin. It is cozy and has everything we need for an extended stay. I also like that the home is not far from the ski areas and restaurants. The only issue we had this time was the large amount of dog hair that was on the floors and rugs.

The cabin was cozy and clean on a quiet road with lots of trees surrounding it. Everything inside was nice and cozy and functioning. The two recliners are well worn, but still function. The fireplace was nice and the upstairs had lots of room for spreading out. We were there for December graduation from App State and the location was perfect.

Pretty home, good location! Near most attractions. Two bedrooms so Great for 2 couples, 2 girlfriends or small family.
Advice for next occupant- look for key lock on the deck posting opposite the door!! The internet is spotty as well.

Loved the cabin. Very pretty and cozy.

Not typical of A VRBO property, not even any toilet paper upon arrival, and no host to contact about anything.
Would have found another place had I known it was rented by Vacasa

Clean cabin in a quiet neighborhood was the perfect recipe for a week to relax and decompress. The gas fireplace was nice when there was a slight chill in the air. The momma doe and her two fawns laying just feet from the deck were an added perk only nature could provide.

Very clean and comfortable and a nice shower! House was laid out nicely for space and relaxing. Loved the porches! Very convenient for our weekend activities!
We will be back!

The cabin was clean, and very accommodating. King bed is very comfortable. Keurig coffee maker is a bonus. We enjoyed relaxing on the back porch and watching a doe with twin fawns grazing on the hillside. Very quiet and peaceful.

This was a lovely home in the country. We saw deer everyday and listened to birds. The best part was how convenient it was to Boone and the things we wanted to do.
