Location location location!! Just minutes away from Historic Downtown Beaufort and The Waterfront Park (less than a 5 min car or boat ride away), which have so much to offer! Located approximately 7 miles from Parris Island MCRD.

The property has a high bluff that overlooks the Intercoastal waterway and Beaufort's famous sandbar.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom guesthouse is on one level, with no stairs required to enter or exit the property, and is detached from the main house.

Please note: dock access is only for main house guests (also available for rent).

Overall we had a good stay ! The location is great. Other than it being kinda cobwebby and it took a little while for it to cool down everything was nice !

Picture must of been when new,got there door trouble oppening, first room light bulb cover just chattered sharp edges anove bed, stove top glass cracked,bathroom door not closing all the way not able to lock,cabinet panel on floor,dirty floor by fridge,fan blades black with dust,porch table bent out of shape,spoked to handy man said he would be there 8 am got up at six waited for him no near he showed up later that day,outside of entrance looked abandoned spider webs all over walls not happy

It was very clean and in a great location and well stocked with necessities. Living area furniture was very sparse and uncomfortable. Hooks and some kind of shelving in the bathrooms is needed.

This is the perfect location. Managers were very nice to deal with. House needs a little updating & guest house needs air condition fixed. Other than that the say was great!

Location was great for the activities we had planned and the general cleanliness (bathrooms, linens, floors) was good but some attention needs to be given to things like ceiling fans, air conditioners, vents, and filters. In addition to some repairs (both toilet paper holders were falling off the wall, broken ceramic cooktop, patching and painting walls) the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, plates etc. It could use a baking pan and wine glasses. Needs better and more furniture for guests to sit on; the daybed is not comfortable to use as a sofa. There is also no door on the second bedroom which is adjacent to the kitchen. Even a curtain would be helpful to block the light or allow someone privacy to change. The kitchen bar top is very tall and has no seats. Overall the area was quiet and felt safe.

Visited for long weekend to do some boating and see airshow. Great location convenient to downtown and marina. Host was very accommodating for our schedule. Place could use a little TLC but was clean and had everything we needed.

Great location. Guest house roomy and clean. Only negative 2nd BR needs door or curtain. Overall grounds & exterior need some TLC. Would stay there again without question.

Overall the stay was good. We did have a couple of issues that came up but those were resolved. The weather was really cold which was unusual and we spent a lot of time indoors. I think to make this a better stay would have been to have some more comfortable furniture in the living room area, ie, comfortable couch and or recliner. I also recomend insulating your hot water heater.

Not comfortable one bit. The beds are hard, the furniture is undersized for grown adults and the bathrooms offer no convenience for wet towels or a place for toiletries. In other words if you are ready to revisit the discomfort of dorm life this is your place. Overall the property is poorly maintained and looks very beat up.

We stayed in the guest house on the property and really enjoyed our getaway. Nice dock to fish from. Caught several trout. Our little house was plenty clean enough for us which is real important for me. Both main house and guests house could use a little maintenance updates such as a good power wash and some rotten boards replaced outside. The beds were comfy. Plenty of blankets, towels, and such. Our TV in the living room would never work but the one in the bedroom was fine. We had no issues and hope to return next year for Thanksgiving.

Joanna was a gracious and helpful Host. The property could use some tidying up ( weeds around steps to pier, etc) Host agreed to go puchase any cooking utensils we had need of. we loved the location and would not hesitate to rent there again

We enjoyed every bit of our stay with my brother and sister in law. The proximity to downtown and the boat landing was outstanding. We kept the boat in the water and enjoyed the sandbar each day. 10/10 stay.

We really found a perfect spot with this one. Dinner on the dock, bike-able to Lil Beaufort. Good beds for kid and adults, large living room... all the basics in kitchen, washer and dryer.

The location and the ombiance of the property we stayed in was Amazing. The entire area gave us a very historic charm feeling and my entire family was very pleased!! The owners were very kind and attentive and we look forward to staying on the property again in the near future. I highly recommend this property it is in a very nice convenient location and the owners are Amazing, its a "win" "win" in my book!!

Enjoyed our time. Very spacious and comfortable. Location is great with a nice place to sit at the end of the dock. The cost of the cleaning fee was a surprise, otherwise no complaints.

The owners are some of the kindest, accommodating people we have ever met while renting from VRBO. A cute cottage and a wonderful fishing pier with dock and shed. We could sit there for hours, enjoy the inter-coastal waterway, watch schools of dolphins, boats, and FISH,,,,,and not even be hot...there is a cool breeze which blows constantly. Also, you are right there where one can shop, eat, etc.

The hosts are great with communication! Nice rental for small family. Convenient to downtown Beaufort and surrounding area. Affordable, and better than a hotel. Nice fishing pier and enjoyed eating the fish we caught. I would recommend this property.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay! We were close to restaurants and shopping when we wanted to go out, but we also enjoyed the peacefulness of spending time on the dock. The communication with Steve and Joanna was fabulous and we could not have asked for better hosts.

The hosts are really helpful. They provided suggestions of things to do and restaurant recommendations.Communication is excellent. The house is spacious. Plenty of towels and toiletries included. The view from the dock is spectacular, especially at night. Location is minutes from downtown Beaufort and pretty much anything you would want to do. The only downsides are that there are no towel racks in the bathroom and only one tv in the living area, none in the bedrooms. Excellent place to stay.

We had such a great time staying in the cottage. The property is on the water with a great dock for kayaking, fishing … we caught a skate and 4 foot shark :) It’s just minutes from Bay Street and the Spanish Moss Trail. Great communication with the hosts who went above and beyond to assure that we had a great time. Looking forward to our next visit!

Joanna and Steve were wonderful hosts from check-in to check-out. supplied us with everything we needed and made excellent suggestions for restaurants and what to see in the area. The location is great for exploring Beaufort and Hunting Island state park, as well as day trips to Charleston, Bluffton, Hilton Head, and Savannah. Kitchen was well stocked although we didn't really use it. Bedding was comfortable for a great night's sleep and the guesthouse was clean! Just a minor observation here that I would suggest towel racks in the bathrooms and a fresh coat of paint on the base boards/wood trim.
