This picture-perfect home nestled into the woods makes for a great getaway year-round. Inside, you’ll find a charmingly updated interior that combines all the modern conveniences with character to spare – notice the pressed-tin backsplash in the kitchen and main bedroom suite’s bathroom and the antique dresser painted in shabby chic blue and now serving as a coffee station.

Brew yourself a cup of coffee and start the day in the enclosed sunroom at the back of the house, with a sweet hammock swing, Boho Papasan chairs, and an overstuffed sofa, all with a view of the trees behind the home. Breakfast prep is a breeze in the full kitchen, which features all the appliances and plenty of counter space. When it’s time to eat, you’ll have your choice of a breakfast bar or built-in, window-front dining nook, which features a live-edge wooden crank table.

Explore after breakfast - hiking, biking, and swimming in the summer, and skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling in the winter. After a fun day out, head home and get the wood stove on the main floor crackling. Grab one of the many board games on hand for some family together-time or, for a bit of TV, settle into the loft seating area and stream your favorite shows. No matter how you spend your evening, this darling cabin in the woods will be cozy and comfortable.

This house had so many cute little areas to read or relax. We had a couple of minor issues but the owners were quick to resolve them. Our family of 7 were quite comfortable there. We loved having no close neighbors. Our own little oasis!

My 2 teens, dog and I needed a change of scenery and some rest and relaxation after a busy November, and this property gave us that and more. The home was beautiful and comfortable. The set up was ideal for a family with a dog. The area was quiet, but not too far off the beaten path. It was a perfect weekend getaway. Will definitely be booking again.

There isn’t a lot of inventory in this area. House was as described, although needs some updating. The bedroom on the main floor desperately needs a new queen mattress- it’s visibly sinking in the middle & we got no sleep on it. Master bedroom upstairs is bright & spacious.

We chose this property due to its proximity to all things NH, both the White Mountains and the lakes region being tops on our list, as well as the fact that the house would accommodate our dogs. The house itself was great, however, when we arrived there were bags and bags and bags of overflowing garbage and trash from the previous guests. This was the first thing we saw when we pulled into the driveway and it was quite shocking. Not only was it a hazard, but an eyesore as well. I made several phone calls to the rental management company and was simply told the issue was "escalated" and they had "punched a ticket." When someone finally did show up to remove the garbage, I was told they only get to the properties twice a week etc. My unease and displeasure could have all been avoided if, prior to arrival, the company would have sent a simple message or other communication stating that the property was ready for check in, but we know there is a mound of garbage outside and we will be by first thing in the morning to pick it up. However, I could not speak to anyone local from VACASA who could reassure me that this situation would be resolved. The house itself was clean inside - by far not the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in but it was acceptable - and the layout and location were perfect. I would rent this house again but due to the fact that it is managed by VACASA, it is a huge turn off - to this or any other property managed by them.

Overall this is a lovely, bright cabin with easy access to numerous trails in the area -- a great base camp for exploring. Comfy bed, well-stocked kitchen, and a cozy and warm woodstove. A selling point for was us the stand-along tub in the ensuite bathroom, but the hot water did not stay on long enough to fill the tub. Hot water worked fine in the showers and sinks, but this was a disappointment, especially because we reached out to the property manager who responded quickly at first but then did not respond to any follow-up messages to have someone come by to fix it. Also, if you are coming in mud season, be sure to use a vehicle with high clearance and 4WD as the long driveway is very rutted. One other note; a previous comment mentions a fire pit but there is not one; the description doesn't mention one, but it leaves me wondering if this company paid to have random comments copied and pasted into the review section.

This is a perfectly private spot with a great fire pit, grill and lots of games. The owners are super responsive and we had plenty of room to spread out.
