About this house rental
In the early 1900's, The San Felice was a “villa hotel” on Seneca Lake adjacent to a historic steamboat landing, and that hospitality tradition continues today. There are 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Three bedrooms have a private bath, two share the main bath upstairs and there is a 1/2 bath downstairs. The kitchen has seating for 18 people. A covered porch wraps around the home, and has a sink, washer & dryer. Behind the house is a gazebo and a charcoal grill. A dock extends into the lake.
The San Felice is located in the heart of Seneca Lake wine country. Wineries within a ten-minute drive include: Red Newt Cellars, Hector Wine Company, Damiani Wine Cellars, Leidenfrost Vineyards, Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards, J R Dill Winery, Magnus Ridge Winery, Chateau Lafayette Reneau, Rasta Ranch Vineyards, Bloomer Creek Vineyard, Penguin Bay Winery, Wagner Vineyards Estate Winery, Standing Stone Vineyards, Kings Garden Vineyard, Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars, Silver Thread Vineyard, Caywood Vineyards, Shalestone Vineyards, Bagley's Poplar Ridge Vineyards, and Silver Springs Winery.
There will be a person nearby to handle any difficulties.
If you're planning a trip to the Finger Lakes and searching for lodging, dining, things to do, wineries, breweries, distilleries, and beyond - you've come to the right spot!
Wondering where to begin? Here are a few ideas: nearby Watkins Glen State Park's Gorge Trail boasts 19 waterfalls along a 2 1/2 mile trail. The Rim Trail (which is dog-friendly) at the State Park is open year-round and offers a neat perspective, skirting the top edge of the gorge. Watkins Glen International offers a full schedule of adrenaline-pumping racing action. If you want to get up close and personal with the race circuit, check out Drive the Glen, where you can drive your car on the famed road course. Or get out on the water with a sail on a historic schooner or perhaps a sightseeing cruise is more your style.

A wonderful spot on the lake. Great huge kitchen and seating area. We spent much time there or on the front and side porches. Rain or shine there is always a great seat. Nice having most of the rooms with private baths. I don't think we wanted for anything except for some large pots for cooking but we probably just missed them in all of the cabinets!

Our family (ages 5-80) gathered at this incredible property to celebrate a milestone birthday. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Things we loved - being right on the lake, the wraparound porch, bocce in the yard, meals and board games around the kitchen table, the wine and 4th of July fireworks on our last night.
