About this house rental
Our beautiful house with luxury finishes is the perfect place to come and reconnect with nature, family and friends. Relax and unwind in the hot tub after an exhilarating hike above the Yuba river. Curl up under a blanket & enjoy your favorite cup of coffee or glass of wine in the gazebo while listening to the fountain in the background. Stay in and cook in the amazing chef's kitchen or take a 5 min. walk into town and enjoy fine dining, shopping and nightlife.
This property has 3 bedrooms and one queen size air mattress with extra bedding for two more guest. Totaling 1 king mattress and 3 queens for a maximum of 8 possible guest.

Nice quiet neighborhood nestled in the trees. Just steps to Pioneer Park that holds a multitude of events including concerts, movie nights, dance classes, drum circles etc. This park also has tennis courts, baseball fields, a public pool, horseshoe pits and a jungle gym for the children. Just minutes to downtown. Arguably the best neighborhood in Nevada City.
Theirs parking in the driveway for 2 vehicles. Just a brief walk through a beautiful trail following Deer creek or down a cascade of stairs will put you in the center of downtown Nevada City. You can also take the streets (5 min walk) into town. We are very centrally located.

We stayed with our adult children and their spouses for a wedding in down town. The location was fabulous and the house was charming and cozy. It was plenty of room for the eight of us and the outdoor space was a nice bonus.

We stayed here when we were in town for our son's wedding. The house was set up perfectly for our group. We enjoyed visiting in the family room, gathering around the island for snacks in the kitchen, sitting on the patio enjoying the sun and playing cards in the dining room. We could spread out or be together with the space. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay.
The neighborhood is quiet. The park is just about 1/2 block away and was an easy stroll for anyone who wants to play or enjoy the park. It was a quick drive to Nevada City proper (less than 5 minutes) and also quick access to the freeways to head to Grass Valley.
Our ONLY disappointment was that we didn't have time to play pool or throw a game of darts! ;)
We'll be back to this absolute 5 star home!

The home felt like our own special hideaway. The bathtub in the master bathroom was the selling point for me, and it exceeded my high expectations! We so appreciated Julia & Craig’s hospitality, and we hope they’ll have us back in the future.

Unfortunately, we had to arrive late and leave early for health reasons, but the house was exactly as described -- spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The front and rear gardens were beautiful, with rhododendrons in bloom. And Craig and Julie, the hosts, were incredibly attentive. We would definitely go back.

This house was great. Both the front and back yards were beautiful. The kitchen was spacious and made making dinner fun and easy. The master bedroom was dreamy and the master bath walks right out to the hot tub on the back patio. This property is walking distance from Prospect park which is beautiful and has walking trails to enjoy. It’s also a short walk to Main Street. And the beds were SO comfortable. Definitely will stay here again for more days next time!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at your gorgeous, comfortable home on Nile St., Nevada City. I am an architecture-design nut and to be in your beautifully thought out remodel of what must have been a gem to start with was just the best for me. Lots of light through the windows with a spectacular white dogwood filling the kitchen (so well-appointed) window, great furniture and a TV in each of three rooms. The Tuscan-touched bathrooms, redwood trees and rhododendrons galore. Plus a hot tub? A little bit of heaven right here on earth. We can't wait to return!

Chose Nevada City for the sweet place that it is, as well as for restaurants & shopping, but we were SO COMFORTABLE, we never left after our arrival! Quiet neighborhood with plenty of green conifers, as well as flowering fruit trees and shrubs. Very special property!

This property felt like home. Plenty of space and it’s lay out worked so well for us. The kitchen was modern and had the necessary equipment. Loved the boiling water dispenser at the sink. Bed was very comfortable. We only used one bed. The town of Nevada City is a 12 minute walk away.

This place is extremely well maintained and clean, close to town, and the owners were fantastic! They checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed after the first night, and when the power went out briefly from a snowstorm, they were on the spot to make sure we were warm and had flashlights, etc.

It began when we first entered into town. All of a sudden out of nowhere there was fresh snow everywhere! Beautiful! Then we arrived at our destination home, which was gorgeous to day the least. Very comfortable, relaxing, and very quiet neighborhood. Very easy to access. The kids played in the snow in the front yard and back, and built a snowman, while I made some homemade soup for dinner. The house had everything I needed for that! Then we were able to unwind in the jacuzzi and take it all in. Everyone had a great nights sleep.I was the first to wake so I ran the jacuzzi tub with some bubbles, as soon as I hopped in....it started snowing outside! That was one of the most magical and relaxing moments I had experienced in my life so far! The bathroom decor was amazing! I felt like I was in aphrodites powder room! We played some games, then our host told me about a family park called Pioneer Park which was in walking distance from us! We got our gear on and headed out! The kids were so happy when we got there! So much snow!! It was clear for a little while then it started snowing again! They were able to sled down a little hill,build snowmen in the baseball field, slide down the slides, swing on the swings! It was magical! I took so many great pictures during this whole trip and the memories are going to last a lifetime! The only thing we regret is not staying longer! I can't wait to book another trip with Julia and Craig!

I love, love, love this home. So much so, I extended my stay; furthermore, I intend to come back next month. The home had traditional furnishings and was tastefully appointed. It was very comfortable. This home has all the bells and whistles; the host clearly paid attention to every detail. The kitchen even had a wine fridge.
I am so grateful, The host was very responsive to my questions. Thank you for making this a very relaxing vacation.

Due to weather, our houseboat adventure got canceled! With only one days notice, the property was immaculate and ready for our stay! The home is beautiful, the beds were very cozy, and the hot tub felt amazing! An added bonus is that the home is within walking distance from downtown! We were able to have a nice dinner out, enjoy a few drinks, and walk safely home!
Communication with the owners was very pleasant, and almost immediate! Myself, and my four girlfriends would absolutely stay here again!!

We were looking for a quick getaway, someplace for a few friends to enjoy the peace of the pines but with lots to do nearby. This was the most perfect home and location. Nevada City and Grass Valley have so much to offer. We really enjoyed our visit! The home felt and smelled very clean which was really important to us. Beds were comfortable, linens were inviting. and the kitchen was amazing. We enjoyed the little coffee house, fountain and hot tub. Bathrooms were perfect ... the stone tile and bronze fixtures were a nice touch.
Check in was very easy and communication with the hosts was quick and pleasant! All around a great home and sweet stay! We would highly recommend it!.

What a beautiful home just a few minutes' walk from downtown! My family and I rented the home to attend a nearby wedding, and we were first so impressed by the private yard in the front. Everything was lush and landscaped. The owners had sent us easy arrival information with our own pass code for the lock, so we didn't even have to fumble with keys. Inside, the air-conditioned house is spacious with lots of luxury touches, like crown moulding, granite countertops, a sink in the island, comfortable furniture, and amazing bathroom off the primary bedroom with a huge tub that overlooks the deck, and many other little details. The back deck overlooks a lovely, shaded backyard and a separate gazebo that seems more like a perfect outdoor reading porch overlooking a fountain. The home is located on a quiet neighborhood street and feels very private. On our first night, we walked to town (just around the corner and down some steps--maybe a seven minute walk) and had dinner and dessert. All the messaging with the owners was prompt and helpful, and it's easy to give our experience five stars.

We loved staying at this property. It is central, quiet, with a large kitchen and lovely front and back yard. The beds were very comfy. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Nevada City to see family.

Perfect Location
I would recommend this home to anyone making a trip to the Nevada City area. The home is updated, clean, and very comfortable. The peaceful fenced yards are great to relax and have a glass of wine. The park is a 5 minute walk and downtown is just around the corner. This house was perfect for us and we will be returning soon!

Great family house
This property was perfect for a family stay. The front yard is amazing for kids to play in, very private and spacious. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable to relax in. Would definitely recommend this property!

Lovely, Peaceful Retreat that all our family enjoyed!
We had a wonderful stay from the minute we walked into the private, gated, lush landscaped front yard, to the beautifully appointed home inside that was perfectly equipped with everything we could possibly need. The quiet backyard patio with the hot tub, courtyard fountain, and the lovely gazebo sitting area was such peaceful retreat that all our family savored. The hosts were fantastic. They were immediately available to answer any of our questions. We can't wait to go back and stay longer! It was a wonderful family retreat! Thank you!

This was a great home to stay at in Nevada City. Very clean and true to pictures online. Beautiful neighborhood and quick walk downtown. Hosts were very responsive and amazing!
