My wife and I enjoyed 4 days here in March 2024. The trailer was perfect for the two of us. The bed was comfortable. The indoor and outdoor sitting areas were great. The eating area had a small table, mini fridge, small microwave, Keurig and water filter. The outdoor bathroom area was better than we expected - clean and spacious.
Access to Big Bend NP was as close as possible. Each day it was less than 15 minutes to the park entrance. On a couple of hot days it was nice to come back to the air conditioning!
While the Terlingua area is remote, the trailer is probably the “least remote” location in the area. It is centrally located in Terlingua and walkable to the main eating locations.
We were there during spring break so had “peak of the peak” pricing but in the end were very pleased we stayed here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely come back. The location was perfect for walking throughout Terlingua Ghosttown and close to Big Bend for great adventures! Coleman was very quick and helpful in answering our questions.
A couple of minor issues:
1. Keurig quit working. Worked fine once, but didn’t power up the next time.
2. Flashlight needed new batteries.
Thanks for a terrific visit!

Place was really accommodating to the locations of all the places to eat and see. Also it was very comfortable and my wife and I really enjoyed the views. And saying good morning to the rabbits. If you stay you will enjoy it, especially if trying to just get away and spend quality time together

We enjoyed our stay, could not have done it without the Tesla charger that worked great. EZ access to park, close places to eat. The shower was nice and we slept well.
We also bought some firewood and relaxed at night by the fire pit.
RECOMMEND!!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Desert Pearl. The vintage trailer was beautifully renovated and the deck and grounds were lovely. The detached bathroom did not present any problems and was very spacious and well appointed. (It was also warm on cold nights!) The bed was very comfy and the owner provided a nice selection of coffees and tea. The Pearl is located within walking distance of the Terlingua Trading Post and Starlight Theatre and only a short drive to the entrance of Big Bend. We would definitely stay there again. A note to those planning to eat in - there's no full kitchen in the trailer so be prepared to bring your own supplies.

I come out at least once a year to play music and enjoy the area. Highly recommend. Property is in the ghost town and just minutes from the parks. Excellent communication and response from property mgmt as well.

Desert Oasis
The perfect place to stay while visiting the Big Bend region! Inside the trailer is nice, clean, and there is plenty of room for two. The property is unique with well done desert landscaping, an outdoor shower, and a nice deck with sun shades to enjoy the scenery (best for sunrise!). The property manager was very helpful with our reservation, quickly answered any questions that came up, and went out of their way to make our visit special. We would certainly visit again in the future!
