We arrived in Boston and reached out as request by the property owner, Jon.
He was very welcoming and helped guide us to the harbor from the Airport.
He greeted us at the harbor parking lot and informed us of where to park and how to get around the harbor.
He graciously helped with our luggage and walked us to the wonderfully kept "Green Turtle" houseboat.
The exterior and interior was immaculate and well maintained. And had all the amenities you need.
Jon was very helpful in describing the best places to eat, to visit, and ways to get around Boston.
The best recommendation was the Harbor Ferry. It made getting back and forth from Downtown Boston simple punctated by a wonderful 15min cruise through the Harbor ($3.70 each way).
Highly recommended, book with confidence and have an unforgettable stay in wonderful Boston Harbor unlike any hotel in the city.

It was every thing we expected and more. Very comfortable with all the niceties from home, i.e. microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher. We did order in one night, so this was very convenient. The location is outstanding. Walking distance to the constitution and Bunker Hill a short Uber ride to the north end. I don’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone we look forward to returning.

The hosts were fabulous and very informative on how to get around Boston and gave us recommendations for wonderful restaurants within walking distance of the houseboat!! The houseboat was very clean and comfortable and the hosts provided pastries for our breakfasts which was very appreciated!! We would definitely stay at the houseboat again!!

A special visit to Boston.

My partner had never been to Boston where I had lived for 10 years, back in the 1980's. The houseboat was a perfect stay as we both love the water and boating. It's cozy, charming, and a delightful experience we'll always remember. Jon was a wonderful host, and we were welcomed by his wife's delicious banana bread! We highly recommend the accommodations.

Jon and Karen were very welcoming and made this an amazing experience. From homemade treats to wonderful recommendations, the best vrbo experience I've had so far. Thank you for making our trip a 10/10.

Overall great experience sleeping on the water. The Green Turtle being located so close to the ferry was a treat. In and out of Boston so easy. Didn’t use the car at all. Jon and Karen had us set up very nicely and offered help navigating when needed.

Location is secure in a gated pier, within walking distance to free bus transportation, and the ferry to Boston. Hosts Jon and Karen greeted us and went above and beyond to insure our vacation was worry free. We highly recommend this property in large part to their attentiveness. We hope to return.

For the average price of a Boston hotel room you get a great room with wet bar & outdoor space on the water! Jon is a Concierge Level host. Upon arrival, he assisted with my luggage, gave me an orientation and then proceeded to share with me valuable tips on attractions, restaurants and transportation. Jon was always available by phone/text. There are two equal sized units in the Green Turtle houseboat. The rooms are similar size to a quality hotel. Comfortable bed, two chairs, side table, hutch as a closet, wet bar with microwave, small refrig w/frz & coffee maker, The Bathroom & shower with seat is great. The houseboat was exceptionally clean with all components in good working order. Amenities provided was impressive: Peets Coffee, teas, creamer, yogurt, juices, water and breakfast pastries. Jon offered to refill anything I might need. Wifi worked great, wall mounted TV with Roku, thermostatically controlled AC unit and base board manually controlled heat. Green Turtle location is AMAZING, berthed on the last dock in the Charleston Marina with sweeping views in every direction. The Marina is within walking distance to ferries, shuttles and services. The Marina houses many high-end yachts. It should be noted, the houseboat is anchored on a two-sided dock. When the other side of the dock is occupied, it impedes the panoramic view. Regardless, the view at in every direction was lovely and I enjoyed seeing the neighbor yacht up close. I highly recommend the Green Turtle!

John and Karen were very hospitable with whatever we needed. Stayed 3 days in August. Everything was good. However it needs to be noted that there is an 80 ft. Yacht that docked in front of the houseboat on our last day blocking the beautiful view that we were enjoying. Unfortunately that was never mentioned in the VRBO discription.

Our stay in Boston was perfect despite some rain one day. Jon is really quite the host, full of knowledge and available at all times. The place was great and there were alot of nice touches added which made the stay even better

Our trip to the Green Turtle was wonderful! The accommodations were excellent. The marina was quiet and very beautiful. The Green Turtle is just a short ferry ride to the center of Boston. Great location to walk along the waterfront. Jon met us at the dock and helped with our bags. The refrigerator was filled with water, juice yogurt and delicious banana bread and blueberry muffins. We would definitely come and stay again at the Green Turtle.

Just close your eyes and imagine being surrounded by water, having your coffee on the pier in the sunshine, sleeping in the breeze from the open windows while being rocked like your momma used to do. Small and immaculate, with thoughtful extras. Jon is a doll!

It was perfect, such a unique and wonderful experience. The property managers are so lovely. If I am lucky enough to get back to Boston, I hope to be able to stay at the Green Turtle again!

Our flights arrived late but John was still in constant communication with us and meet us at the taxi to help with luggage. Due to the late hour he found us a restaurant near buy and gave detailed directions and left us for the night. The next morning after an amazing night sleep and a very hot shower John showed us how to get around the area. We could have not asked for a cleaner, more comfortable bed, warm water and all the extras we needed to make our stay perfect. John and Karen made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back to the Green Turtle next time we trek to the Boston area.

Awesome birthday venue
The property is magical, a beautiful floating cottage with absolutely everything you could need and beyond. Jon is a fantastic host: super-fast responses, totally on top of his game, friendly- a kindred spirit. We can’t wait to go back!

Repeat visit to Green Turtle floating B&B
Excellent stay. Looked forward to the breakfast that the “pandemic” rules took away; but bagels and homemade banana bread sufficed (though cream cheese is a Starbucks le with banana bread it was only offered with the bagel). Fresh fruit would have been nice; but refrigerator was stocked more than we expected with 2 of each of variety of juice and water & milk for coffee. Variety store 15 minute walk-was not happening for handicapped person. Long walk from Uber drop off to accommodations; as the gate prevented them from drop off at gate. We liked the previous location of green turtle better as it was closer to gate. Only other thinking is we were forced to use VRBO even though this was last minute booking; we were unable to negotiate lower rate as we were in past & we were subject to additional fees that are on VRBO website which added significantly to the nightly rate. The website of green turtle showed the room as booked so I couldn’t book without VRBO. I think vrbo should show total cost
