Our second time at the beach house and it is still a spot we would like to return to. There really isn’t anything more you need out of a place. Still well equipped and super clean. It is a very tight knit community down there but if you are respectful of it then you will have no issues. We love the fact that we can keep our boat tied up on their buoy right out from the house. Love this little gem.

We loved our stay! We had all our kids, aged 1-26, and all ages were comfortable and entertained. McKees is a wonderful little community and we enjoyed meeting neighbors on the beach and learning about the area. The house was clean and felt so much like my parents’ old family cabin. Great memories made!

Our stay at McKees Beach was one of the most peaceful, beautiful and restful that we have ever had. Everything in the house was beautifully done, clean and very well stocked. We enjoyed a cozy fire in the kitchen fireplace and wish we could have enjoyed the living room fireplace too but the proximity to the tv didn’t allow for that. We sat for hours looking out at the water, watching fish jump and seals bob for food. Neighbors were all very friendly in the quiet little oasis. We plan to visit again in the summer if possible. Thank you to Drew and his wife for everything to make our week perfect.

Great spot for a small family. The house was clean and well equipped. You can’t beat the location as you are steps from the beach. The property had everything needed to enjoy the water. Paddle boards, crab pots and crab cooking gear. A big bonus was the use of their buoy for our boat which is directly in front of the house. It was hot during our stay and the AC was pleasant surprise. Renting in a tight community can sometimes lead to annoyed neighbors but we were respectful and the locals were welcoming.
The best surprise to us was an orca pod made an appearance just off shore in front of the house.
All in all it was a great time and the listing was as advertised. It’s worth the trip!

We have stayed in VRBOs in and around this area for the past 9 years, sometimes twice in a year.
While we have stayed in larger and in newer homes, none of hit that rare balance of comfort/ease and luxury views as this house.
Yes, it is older, but it just makes it feel quaint. Upgrades are in place where needed, but the charm of the tiles, the flow and the character are in tact.
We greatly appreciated the comfortable beds, the comfortable living room furniture (something so often lacking), the supply of basic needs (coffee set up was fabulous) and then the extras like towels, beach toys, AC (yes, that's an extra). So many small touches that just elevated this place.
The views .. the views are INSANE. Sunsets, boats, seals (we didn't see whales, but know that they do come in to the outlet) ... the tranquility and peace was just so amazing.
We also truly appreciated the ease. The last place we stayed we had to be out by 10am AND the list of items to do before leaving was extensive. Not here. Short and sweet and check out at 11. So fabulous.
Finally, a big nod for disability. My husband had a stroke some years ago. The addition of grab bars in the bathrooms and the ease of moving around in the house were just huge bonuses for us.
We've never returned to a house a second time, just always at least one thing that wasn't worth returning, but not this house .. already looking at dates for next year.

Fun location and was an easy drive to Tulalip for a conference. Kids loved playing on the beach. Everything was as described. Only complaint is that the mattress in the master is a super firm memory foam. Needs a topper or something.

Property is in an amazing location and house has everything you need. Love the quirks of this older beach property with all the modern upgrades you need! From the huge windows we was seals, orcas, bald eagles and more! Thank you for sharing this wonderful property!

This house has terrific views! It is spacious and cozy all at the same time. Drew was great to communicate with, and responded quickly. He even had several Christmas decorations and a small tree up for us - it was very welcoming.
The kids bunk room is adorable, and the king bed we slept on was VERY comfortable. I may stay here with some girlfriends in nicer weather. Folks should note that there is only one shower, if several people are staying. 2 toilets though. The beach is nice, and all the neighbors were very friendly when we met them on our walks. All in all, a very nice little Christmas getaway for us. Thank you!

McKees Beach is an absolute gem. Wildlife a plenty and the most beautiful sunset. Nothing like waking up and seeing the ocean, islands and mountains in the background. So perfect for our family.

We loved our time at the beach house. The view is beautiful! The home is comfortable with all the amenities one can have. The beds are super comfortable and best of all our furry kids were welcomed too. I definitely recommend this home and will attempt to come in the summer. Even though we visited in the fall and it was chilly the home has a great heater! Fabulous experience!

AMAZING!
Friendly, communicative host. Lovely home in a beachfront community, with direct access to the beach, and close by to local parks and hiking. Beautiful and remote feeling while being relatively close to shops and stores. Everyone in our family loved it, from the kids to the seniors. Highly recommend, and hope to be back again!

Great Getaway
We were the first guests at this property and I was a little nervous to book it without any reviews...but it did not disappoint!! The house was cozy and clean. It's a little older (cool vintage bathrooms), but so well appointed with everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked with every utensil imaginable! Beds were firm and comfy.
It has the absolute best views. The sunsets were amazing over Camano Island. And we even got to watch seals play and whales swim by a few times. Right near the beach!! It was magical.
There's a little community play area with swings and a basketball court for kids to play, and the playground at Kayak Point is only a 15-20 minute walk down the beach.
If you have young children you should know it only has a stand-up shower, but there are a few toys to keep kids entertained.
Internet was reliable and fast.
Would love to stay again.

Million dollar view!
Our family had such an incredible stay at McKees beach. Saw whales spouting, seals playing and eagles flying right in front of the house! Nice, quiet community with a swingset for the kids very close to the house. The home itself was very comfortable with a retro, beachy vibe. Well stocked kitchen. Feels more like you're staying at a friend's house rather than a generic, staged rental. So peaceful and relaxing, definitely recommend!
