About this house rental
Thank you for considering “1 Fun Beach House” - This 6 bedroom home is perfect for multiple families traveling together. This home features 2 living rooms, 2 full kitchens, pool house cottage, and spacious/fun outdoor spaces for the family. The home is configured with a 3 bedrooms, a bath, kitchen and living room on the ground level. The upstairs also has 3 bedrooms, a bath, kitchen and living room. These two living areas are separate with individual entrances and an exterior stair between the two. This rental is essentially a duplex that is being rented as a single home. With this rental, you and your family will have access to the entire property!! In addition to the main house, there is a cottage home located adjacent to the pool that is configured with a gaming table, Sofa and a full bathroom.
The outdoor spaces and size of this property is really what makes this home special and a unique home in Surfside. “1 Fun Beach House” features one of the largest pools in Surfside Beach. The pool is 16 feet x 31 feet with a 7 foot deep end. Adjacent to the pool is our 5 hole mini putt-putt course, a bocce-ball court, lounge chairs, picnic tables, and shuffle board. The outdoor living space is 2000 square foot fenced play area for you and your kids!
This home was recently updated and professionally decorated with new furniture, decor and accessories. TVs in every bedroom room and a large 75inch TV in the upstairs living room! 300g Fiber Optic Internet Service is perfect for streaming or working. The 2 kitchens are fully furnished with cooking supplies to facilitate homemade meals during your trip. The beach house is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival and upon your departure.

The Downstairs is cozy space configured with a sofa, loveseat, and breakfast area. The homes screen porch is located just off the down stairs living room. Full kitchen, with granite counters and full appliance package. Ceramic tile floor except the 3 carpeted bedrooms. The bathroom has a single sink, lots of counterspace, toilet and tile shower/tub. This downstair space features lots of built-in cabinet and a built-in desk for kids or working. Owner managed and available for further details and questions.
The Upstairs is the same layout and size except without all of the built-in cabinets and desk. This makes this space feel more spacious and we have configured this area with lots of seating when the whole family wants to hang-out together. The living space features a sectional sofa, accent chairs, sofa bar with 3 bar stools, and 4 bar stools at the granite kitchen island. The breakfast area with accommodate 6 when the table is fully extended. There is a covered deck area just off the upstairs living room and of course the expansive wrap around deck. Yes! Another Full kitchen, with granite counters and full appliance package. The upstairs has laminate floors throughout except for the tile bath. The bathroom has a single sink, quartz countertop, lots of counterspace, toilet and tile shower/tub.
We will provide a starter roll of toilet paper in the bathrooms and a starter trash bags in the bath and kitchen. Linen Package is included. When you arrive the bath towels will be in the bathroom and the beds will be ready with fresh linens. We do not provide beach towels or beach chairs.

This house was a blast to stay at, the bocce court got used every night and the size of the pool is rare to come by in a beach rental it was huge and deep. It was also nice being 2 seperate living spaces so each family had their own space at the end of the night to settle in to. All in all couldn’t be happier with the house, the location, the communication with the home owner and would definitely rent this location again.

This was the perfect place for our group of adults and young adults! Everything was clean and Jay was wonderful to work with before and during our trip. The best part of this house is all the fabulous activities and set up around the pool. The Bocci Ball court was a favorite! I would certainly come back to this property with a group in the future.

We completely enjoyed the stay. It had plenty of room, including 2 kitchens and an outdoor pool house. The pool was fantastic along with other outdoor entertainment. The putt-putt was enjoyed by all.

We take a big family beach trip including 3 generations (ages 5-75) every other summer. Finding a great house is always difficult. This house was perfect. Everyone had a blast, especially with the outdoor space. Super easy walk to the beach. Host was friendly and responsive. Great spot for a big family vacation. Definitely hope to be back in a couple years!

1 Fun House is just that. The owner, Jay was great. Kept us up to date and even offered locals advice on the area. We had a large group of high school friends and spouses who are now all over the country celebrating 60th birthdays. Quick drive over from Myrtle Beach airport. Beach access a block away. Pool is huge! It was used every day for games and watching outdoor TV on the pool house wall. The pool house with a restroom is very handy (wish it had a fridge for the pool). Many games of Bocce ball and putt putt around the pool. The 6 bedrooms we very comfortable with plenty of living space inside and out. You really don't need to go anywhere except the grocery store but hate to miss all the things the Grand Strand has to offer. New Surfside Beach Pier is a quick mile walk down the beach or Garden City Pier about 1 1/2 mile south. We had Tito's Trolley take us for a day of our own bar crawling all over the Grand Strand. Very happy with our choice!

What a blast we had at Jay’s house!! It was the perfect setup for our friend-that-are-family Spring Break!! We had plenty to do, the house was fully stocked with all cooking things we needed, just had to bring the food!! Jay was helpful and quick to respond! We can’t wait to go back, nobody wanted to leave!!
The house was also in a perfect location, quick access to the beach, and the main road for quick grocery runs!

This property worked well for our family with the 2 units and 6 bedrooms. We enjoyed the pool and sports items, and the location to the beach is great. We had an issue with the dishwasher, but the property owner worked with us and was very responsive. I highly recommend this property.

We had a great time at Jay’s home. It was a perfect house for our Christmas vacation with our brew of kiddos.
The outside bocce, mini golf, and ring& hook game kept us all entertained the whole week.
The house being made up as 2 duplexes gave us plenty of room to spread out and 2 kitchens were true a win-win for us. The house was comfortable, well-stocked with everything we needed.
We were very close to the beach —less than 5 minute walk — and the pool was available if the weather would have been another 10 degrees warmer!
Jay was a great host who was easy to work with when we had a need & he had a great sense of humor to boot.
Would definitely use this house again when we plan another family gathering in Surfside!

Overall, the place was great! The only tough thing was the amenities within the home were lacking. There weren’t any beach towels, and no extra toilet paper or trash bags. The outside area was awesome with lots to do! The pool was great and it was so close to the beach! We loved the location and the outdoor space!

We brought our recently graduated sons to the area for their graduation trip from Oklahoma. The space was perfect for kids on the bottom floor and adults on top. The outside space was great and provided lots of entertainment.

We visited over July 4th and had a great time in Surfside. The home is a very easy walk to the beach with children. There were lots of outdoor pool toys and beach toys which was a plus. The pool is by far the largest in the neighborhood. We enjoyed the location of this property - close to Food Lion, local restaurants, and a park. Owner was very responsive to messages.

First off, let me start by saying that Jay is a phenomenal host. From the week leading up to our stay, and until check-out, Jay was on point with communication and if we needed anything. He also gave us a few recommendations on food and local attractions.
When you get to the house, you see all the surrounding properties, and right then I knew this house was cut from a different cloth. The uptairs has 3 bedrooms, a full bath, kitchen, sitting space, wrap-around porch that has a built in bench, and a picnic table. Each bedroom, up and downstairs, has a tv, a power outlet station with USB for charging, and closet/furniture for storage. The bathrooms have hair dryers. There is a great screened-in porch on the first floor that is perfect to sit at anytime of the day!
The outdoor shower was awesome! Especially since you can latch the door shut from the inside. Very helpful to get sand out of suits! I know everyone did not come to the beach for the pool but this house has the biggest pool in the area, by far, and not a wadding pool that you can see most houses have as you walk to the beach or drive in the area. Plus, there is space!!!!!! It is a very short walk to the beach and the pool house has a shower and toilet, as well as laundry.
This is the complete package and you wont be disappointed if you stay here!!

Our family came together to celebrate our dad’s 70th birthday and this house was perfect. Everyone had their own space but then we were able to come together easily and take advantage of all of the amenities the house has to offer. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed hanging out outside playing bocce and laying by the pool. The walk to the beach was short and easy enough. We couldn’t have asked for a better space. Jay was a responsive host and answered any questions promptly. 10/10 would recommend.

The house was perfect for our family gathering! We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor activities that were provided - especially the well maintained pool and Bocce Ball court. Everyone had their own space when needed and the beds were comfortable as well. I fully expect the family to ask if we can get the same place next year!

The style of the house with two different floors with their own kitchen was perfect for multiple families, and the updates to the house were very nice. Outside of the unit is also really great as you have a lot of room for activities and one of the biggest pools in surfside. Fully recommend this vacation rental!

The house was amazing! There was something for everyone! Rooms were a nice size and everything was super clean and ready to go for us! The beach was a short walk and the pool was the perfect end to a long day at the beach! Kitchens were well equipped! Added bonus was the pool house and all the games! Putt putt was so much fun for my little one! If you are looking for a great location and awesome owner this is the place for you! Thanks for a great week at the beach at one fun beach house!!!

We all loved the house! This place was amazing. We had 5 kids staying there with ages from 14 to 4 and they all loved it. The pool was wonderful, we loved the bocce ball court and had many intense games, the shuffleboard court and the putt-putt holes were fun, and the dualing ring game was the icing on the cake. The large deck upstairs has a nice view and the neighbor was quiet and family oriented, like we wanted. The beds were comfortable. My 11 year old doesn’t ever want to stay anywhere else! The host was very helpful and a great host. I would highly recommend this house and we will most likely be back.
