Our family of seven enjoyed 6 days/5nights in this beautiful home. Plenty of space to spread out and everyone be comfortable! Incredible views of the lake and the teens enjoyed fishing and swimming in the lake! Great family vacation!

We came to town for a wedding and enjoyed the spacious house very much.

We had a large family stay for a WCU graduation. It was very clean and comfortable with room to spread out.

Our family had the best time at this vacation home. The vies were spectacular, the house was spacious and modern and we all had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials needed to cook a great meal at home and we had a fun ping pong tournament downstairs. Our only issue was figuring out how to turn on the fireplaces but after communicating with the management company, they sent someone over immediately to help us and were extremely responsive and helpful. The house was clean and comfortable and perfectly located

Such a beautiful home with incredible lake views. This home was perfect to accommodate our large family in town for a wedding. Clean and spacious! Beds were very comfortable. Communication was great! Highly recommend.

My family had plenty of room in this amazing house. With bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate 7 people getting ready for my son's wedding. Less than a 20 minute drive from Castle LadyHawke where the nuptials took place. The view over the lake at sunset was breathtaking. So happy we found this gem.

The view was amazing! The glass doors in living room opened up all the way across and the weather was great.
Kitchen was huge, all the beds were super comfy. Everyone said they were sleeping better! One Bedroom was upstairs on top floor alone. Master and bunkbed rooms were on main floor and 4th bedroom was downstairs on 3rd level next to game room.
Cons- Bears & Trash issues, but its the mountains so to be expected. The one step up to the front door is higher then normal and not level. There weren't any rocking chairs or other comfy seating on lower 3rd floor balcony. which to be fair it did not show any in pics so wasn't surprising but was disappointing.
The chairs in screened in porch were very comfy..
Overall great house and would definitely go back!!

Stayed for a week--three adult couples and one crawling baby. Thanks to management company for responding promptly to our needs.
Pros: Great space/privacy for a large group as all four bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms PLUS there's a powder room off the great room. STUNNING views of the lake from the great room complete with floor-to- ceiling folding windows that fully open up that large wall of windows to screens for an abundance of fresh mountain air. Updated large kitchen for preparing big meals for family and large dining table to sit around to eat, play games etc. Close proximity to the Signal Ridge Marina for boat rentals and 10 min drive into Cashiers.
Cons: No direct access to the lake itself (there's a road in between) and while you can gain access to the private marina across the street you can't boat from there. It's a pretty spot but hard to walk to with no sidewalk and a busy road to approach it. That road traffic is LOUD so with windows open you hear every car/truck at night or while relaxing in the home. The home could use some decorations--very stark. The downstairs kitchen frig is locked up (this was not mentioned in the listing description). The screened in porch was not cozy nor decorated and needed more seating. Although the listing says "enjoy outdoor lake views w/ plenty of space for the kids & dog to run and play", there was no outdoor space to play and dogs are not allowed (they gave us an exception for a $500 non refundable fee)

If you want a fun lakehouse for swimming or fishing directly from the property (or even within easy walking distance), I’m afraid this isn’t it. Unless my family of 8 + 2 babies all missed something, this property does not have direct lake access by any definition I can imagine!
The mentioned “key fob lake entry” made no sense to us. We had to traverse a steep hill on foot, cross a busy highway, walk through a narrow patch of muddy grass, only to learn we weren’t allowed on the lakeside property we’d walked to. Ouch!
This is a very lovely home with a gorgeous view, clean & spacious, and my initial encounters with the owner or manager were lovely. They even lined up a portable crib for us. Would/could be a nice fall or winter vacation place, where you can happily look out at the lake from the hillside and not particularly wish to access it.
Yet, we were very startled to be unable to find any place nearby to swim or fish. All we could ultimately find was a small public beach with no dock about a 10 minute drive from the house. Pay no attention to the dock in the picture: guests can’t use it!
Our interactions with VRBO’s new Evolve team was very unsatisfactory. We paid, all told, over $3,000 for a 5-day family vacay, and after several email exchanges were told they couldn’t help us & were shutting the case. No apology or agreement to reword the listing, no acknowledgement of our disappointment, and sadly, no typical lake house vacation!

We had a wonderful family vacation while enjoying our stay at this property.
With three families under one roof, we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy time together.
The marina right down the road offered convenient boat rentals and we enjoyed spending time on the lake. The house, location and friendly owner made our family vacation absolutely perfect.

Cook a meal together in the large kitchen… Take a nap on the cozy couch with beautiful mountain views… Play a board game on the porch in the clean mountain air… This place has it all. Cozy yet beautiful. Accessible yet private. Looking forward to, many more gals’ getaways to come!

Amazing home with a view to relax by. The home was everything and then some. Enjoyed a long weekend of relaxation and enjoying the local fresh market for great food to consume while looking out at the glory of the lake and mountains.
Cant wait to return.

4 night stay with our 3 adult children and their current +1s - so 4 couples total. The house is newly renovated and beautiful. The layout provides separation of bedrooms, large main area with an awesome view of the lake, and a downstairs suite that is really like it's own 1 bedroom apartment. We really enjoyed the very large kitchen and the Sonos music system as well as the large Samsung TV for basketball and hockey playoffs (and the occasional movie). The dock is a very short walk to a really nice HOA controlled park area (key fob access). You can also drive and park very close to the dock to unload gear. Worked really well for us as boating was a big part of our trip.
We were one of the very first renters, so there were a couple of start up kinks to work through, but the Management Company (DJ) was great.
I dropped the rating one star in listing accuracy - since there was no outside grill. Not sure if the owner is going to add one or not - but I hope they do! There is a great covered deck off the downstairs area that would be perfect for cooking out. The owner was kind enough to compensate us for the mistake and our disappointment, which we didn't expect but really appreciated.
Overall, just a great place to enjoy the lake and nearby hiking. We'll be back if we can get booked - I expect this place will be very busy.
