About this house rental
Well appointed, Grade II listed traditional stone house with original features and a modern twist, centrally located in the lovely town of Dolgellau. Situated beneath the Cader Idris Mountain and at the start of the Mawddach Trail, it is the perfect place to explore the Snowdonia National park including Coed Y Brenin Mountain Bike Trail, lovely Beaches, National Trust Sites, Zip World and much more.
The space
1 Bro Arran is a spacious well equipped home, with a large kitchen/diner with a Smeg range cooker to cook your favourite meals or cakes on, cooking utensils, workspace and microwave to heat up a pizza or bed time cocoa.
There is a utility room which houses the tea and coffee facilities, toaster, fridge-freezer, dish washer and sink .
Through to the living room is a wood burner with a large L-shaped sofa for you to curl up on after an adventure in the mountains or a day by the seaside or cycling around the forest. Just close the original pine shutters and relax in front of the smart TV, before going upstairs to one of the bedrooms either with a king-size bed with a pillow-top mattress, shutters and fireplace or up the quirky 2nd staircase to a spacious room with a single bed and double bed with an en-suite toilet and shower and seating area to relax and watch the world go by

Outside you are surrounded by restaurants, pubs, wine bar, cocktail bar takeaways, bakers and coffee shops all within a 2 minute walk from the front door. All you need to do is choose and enjoy! (Co-op is also about 2 mins walk). There is free on street parking and there is usually a space available within a 3 to 5 minute walk (we will supply a map after booking of streets/places to park) Alternatively, there is a long stay car park about 5 mins at a price of around £8 for 24 hours.
Other things to note
We welcome up to 2 well behaved small/medium dogs. Please bring your own bedding and equipment and we request you do not leave your dogs unattended in the house.
The stairs to the top floor are steep and narrow so are not suitable for very young children or those with mobility issues.
Although we do not have a washing machine a laundrette Is a 2 minute walk away.

Thank you for a very comfortable stay.

The flat was clean, spacious and well appointed. Comfortable beds and bedding. Located in the middle of everything close to groceries and restaurants. Pub across the street can get loud but quiets down by 10pm.
