Basic room, met needs of a place to crash near Southwold

It was easy to check in, the rooms were clean, and new

There was a really overpowering reed diffuser in the room, the smell was so strong that I couldn’t sleep!

Strange not seeing any sign of life from owners house on site, therefore no contact made.

No breakfast on-site, recommended hotel nearby offered discount. Staff were pleasant but no sign of sauce, had to ask for it half-way through our cooked breakfast. We noticed that the orange juice tasted very weird and the bacon too salty for my wife. Otherwise, good quality food.

Garden patio table and chairs appreciated but very basic, one weak leg bent and under table full of cobwebs. We were advised to place used towels in 'blue' bag - hunted around for the bag - couldn't find it.

Very pleasantly surprised with the accommodation

No breakfast included, not a big problem as I don’t eat it.

Could have done with a microwave in the kitchenette , tea, coffee, milk and chilled water were supplied and very much appreciated

Very comfortable and enjoyable.

I appreciated the tv and the free wifi. I also was glad that there was tea and coffee provided (even lotus biscuits!) Very comfortable bed and arm chairs. Fairly good location. Very happy.

I felt overall maybe it was slightly over priced and would perhaps expect an included breakfast for what we paid, there was also no shower products either. The walls are quite thin, so could hear outside and the neighbours a lot.

pleasant, clean, comfortable property a short walk from Southwold.

Immaculately clean, lots of room, good to have an outside table with chairs for meals. A good hot shower.

A lovely break in great accommodation. We will definitely come back !

The accommodation was spotless and we had everything we needed. We walked into town everyday and it was an easy walk which was only 15 minutes away .

The owner must to pay attention to the bathroom

The bed was huge

Toilet doesn't flush properly and the electric shower heater was not working properly . I could not have a proper shower.

Absolutely lovely lodge, decorated to a high standard and very good value for money, we’ll be back !

This self enclosed lodge didn’t provide brekkie which we knew, however nice selection of tea/coffee and biscuits provided. A lovely touch was ale and water in the fridge 😊

Everything was clean and well presented, we had a lovely relaxing stay !
