The swimming pool was amazing and the leisure facilities
The staff in the restaurant was so warm and friendly
When we arrived at the hotel, we arrived at 1pm too early for check in but we had travelled an 6 hour journey and I said I ask if we could check in early and it wasn't a problem if we couldn't.
I found the lady a reception most unhelpful, she made me feel less of a person and it upset me.
At all times I was friendly and at one stage she continued to talk to her colleague while my partner and I remained at reception waiting to be spoken too, I have worked in Kerry in the hospitality industry all my life, I've never felt so looked down upon and I have never written anything about a place before as I undersand how hard at times it can be, which allows me to always treat people with respect.
The room we got was okay, wasn't the cleanest and it was located next to the restaurant so at times wasnt quiet
Just to note also she must have been an exceptional to the rule because the girls in the restaurant were so lovely, friendly and smiley

good dinner and breakfast. Nice surroundings.
We expected something totally different. Our first room was dark and positioned in a kind of a ditch, it looked we were half buried underground. The bathroom was full of hair and generally dirty. The second room was better, at least it was light with a view in the garden. The people in garden had the same good view on us. All the structure gives impression as a container accommodation for workers.

Some nice interior touches and nice yoga room
Rooms were not spacious. Spa facilities didn’t feel clean and the acoustics in the restaurant were terrible

Breakfast delicious. Location lovely, enjoyed watching the sheep on the Wicklow Hills, engaging with the lamas, following the forest trail and the meadow walk and surprising a pair of deer! Also swimming pool and sauna very nice.
Somewhere to put our suitcases and more hangers.

Absolutely gorgeous setting in nature, surrounded by fields, forests and streams. So quiet and tranquil, wonderful to be surrounded by nature and whoever designed the hotel did an amazing job of incorporating the natural environment into the built environment. Yoga studio is gorgeous as well and we had a fabulous yoga class with a lovely teacher. Breakfast and dinner were fabulous as well with a good range of options. Pleasant staff and overall a very peaceful and relaxing vibe. The gratitude tree inside the building is a lovely touch.
Steam room wasn't working properly and hot tub didn't seem very clean, lots of insects floating around in it!

The friendly, accommodating staff & facilities.
Ensuite slightly small.

Very comfortable, warm and clean.
Unfortunately only 2 loungers at the pool and no access to drinkable water near the spa ie water fountain. Also lack of shower around spa to wash off “sweat “ after using sauna/ steam room and pool.

lovely relaxed atmosphere. had reflexology treatment- wonderful. The surroundings are beautiful for relaxing peaceful walk. the food is gorgeous and excellent value. Beautiful yoga/meditation hall and really enjoyed using it for relaxation exercises. 5min drive from Powerscourt waterfall. I’ll definitely be returning.

The pool was nice as was the food. Treatment I had in the spa also good quality. Liked the complimentary still and sparkling water in the room too.
The property could do with a little face lift. Overgrown grass and sad outside entrance. First impression not great. Litter strewn across the carpark and litter that had been there a while. Cigarette butts all over the middle outdoor seated area beside yoga room. Some staff seem a little untrained and not very professional, albeit nice. Our shower completely overflowed onto entire bathroom floor creating swamp like effect which made it hard to get ready. Reported at reception and the receptionist apologised but it affected our overall experience.

Difficult to get to with public transportation.

The location is beautiful, the spa lounge is a great place to relax, read etc , the beds were comfortable, the views and sorrounding area are outstanding. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs, including a ride to Bray when we could not find a taxi!
Room was unpleasantly hot at night, pool water was too hot, the food sounded better on paper but when it arrived was nothing special. Not well connected in terms of public transport. You need a car or rely on taxis
