The Juneau apartment was perfect for what we needed. After staying in a noisy hotel in Ketchikan, the apartment was a welome relief. Away from busy roads in a residential area, we had quiet nights in a bed that was in great condition. Nearby I discovered a hiking trail that led into a very forested environment. And we were close enough to a Safeway to shop and then cook our meals in, saving us money. The Mendenhall Glacier is nearby and so are other notable Junea attractions. This quiet apartment is perfect for a getaway to Juneau. We highly recommend it.

We were visiting for a work conference. The apartment was tidy and accommodating. They prepared us for some day time noise as they were power washing. It did not bother us at all as we were gone for the day. We were gifted a dinner for any inconvenience. We could not be happier and had a wonderful time.

Our family of 4 stayed here for vacation and it was conveniently located. We were able to eat dinner close by at Forbidden Peaks Brewery. Yummy burgers and Asian fusion entrees. The property is also close to a hiking trail called Spaulding Meadows, and you can drive to a few local rocky beaches and more trails. It’s also less than ten minutes to drive to grocery stores (IGA, Safeway), more places to eat (Zereldas, Pucker Wilson).
The property has a comfortable queen size bed and there’s a door to get privacy. My two boys liked sleeping on the roll away bed and the couch converted into a decent sized bed. The kitchen was spacious and my husband was able to set up his laptop on the desk they had. The owners of the property live above it and they were quiet—you couldn’t tell someone was up there. The only issue was the toilet but the property manager fixed it right away. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet getaway from home. Oh, my kids loved the baskets of snacks!! Plus there was a variety of drinks that we enjoyed too.

Wow!! What a great place to stay! Close to the water. Just down the block was a brewery and a cafe. Host responded to texts promptly. Room for parking. Bed was comfy! Washer and dryer was a plus! Booklet in living area was very helpful with what was around Juneau. Highly recommended!

Live like a local in this large ground-floor apartment far from the downtown cruise crowds, yet close to the airport, Mendenhall Glacier and on Auke Bay--the departure point for whale watch day trips. The space is thoughtfully furnished with attention to every detail, like easy USB power ports and highly visible cards with the web password, and labeled light switches The kitchen is completely equipped and so well supplied with coffee and basic staples. And there are two surprisingly good restaurants within walking distance, the Auke Bay Cafe (great fried cod), and Chan's Thai Kitchen, surprisingly some of the best Thai food I've ever had, and I've had it all over the U.S. Highly recommended and hope to stay there again some day.

We liked that the property was set up to welcome guests - plenty of space for your "stuff" - good printed instructions for the unit and surrounding area. It was clear that the owner intended for their guests to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights, while we moved into our new apartment.
It was the perfect place to decompress after a long works day.
Such a great location to hiking trails, the water, groceries and a brewery. All you need in a walks distance.

This was a great place for my daughter and I to stay as we checked out the nearby college and town. Clean and comfortable! Since she has decided to go to school here, it’s likely we will be staying again.

This lowere level apartment was huge with lots of space to breath and spread out. The kitchen was fully stocked and full size and a table for four overlooked the changing sky/view. We had rainy, clear, stormy and in between days. The stormy days meant less action which meant more relaxing times. The clear days meant hikes and outings. Alaska is a fun and fascinating place. This was a perfect base to experience it all. Fabulous hosts! Thank you Julie!

LOVE Auke Bay!!!
Auke Bay is a perfect place to stay if you want to stay away from the tourists and experience a slice of small town Alaska.
My only complaint is the pull out couch bed is not the most comfortable and there is only one nice chair to sit in the living room. Other then that it was a wonderful place to stay!!

Really cute place!
Super cute place perfect for a couple or a small family. Really enjoyed the decorations and it is a good central location. Same distance to get to downtown Juneau as it is to hiking access at Mendenhall Glacier.

The view even from its basement windows was gorgeous. The property owners take great care of their yard, and flowers are blooming all around.
The amenities were as described, and the communication was awesome.
Very happy with our stay!
