Good spaces and reasonably well equipped
How could there be no toilet paper on the premises?
Lack of easy parking space a bother.

Breakfast not provided but local cafes excellent.
Initial problem with heating on arrival as cold. Quickly resolved by care manager, Estelle.

The cottage has been nicely renovated with a lovely and comfortable aesthetic. Comfortable bed and linens and a superb location in town. The property managers were extremely responsive with questions.
While there have been lots of thoughtful touches to make the small space work, there were little things that could have been better such as only one cutting board, no hairdryer, etc. The size of the property also makes it subject to faster wear and tear and we suggest the owners reconsider the pet friendly policy - the house definitely smelled a bit like dog.

Great location for the main high street of Porthmadog
Wasn't particularly dog friendly the outside was only decking so couldn't go the toilet.
Lights kept flickering as if there was a ghost.
Shower stopped working twice because electric tripped.
Parking was only on a high street in a different street totally.
Damp in back bedroom with mould can provide pictures if you want must be a serious health hazard.

First Clas location for us having arrived by train centre of town
Entering the property , imediately encountered a trip hazard as the large floor mat had a curled up edging. The toilet seat slipped off the toilet as soon as I sat on it... I repaired this !! The windows had blinds and I tried to raise mine in the smaller of the two bedrooms to open the window, but only one side would raise owing to the connections on the blind being broken. The bath towels provided were very small . The only bedroom furnishing was the bunk bed and five clothes hooks 4 inches apart and two behind the door, and a cheap bedside table with a draw too small to take anything more than a pair of socks.

Met our needs. Beds were comfortable.
Milk in the fridge, thank you.
Overall, it felt clean but some things were not washed probably in the kitchen. We have to clean up before we leaving which makes you wonder if the guests are doing the cleaning.

Excellent location, all be it down a narrow lane. Easy walking distance to all shops and pubs. Cosy.
Fruit flies were a nuisance. It's possibly a seasonal thing. Double bed a little on the short side ( I'm 5'9 and my feet touched the bottom frame ), might be because of the size of the room.

We liked the accommodation generally and the location in the town.
There was only ONE set of keys, although we were told there would be two, so we left three messages with Sykes Cottages concerning that but they were not acknowledged, so communication is poor. Also so there were no grab rails around the shower/bath and as I am over 80 and unsteady on my legs I could not stand in the bath. But I did wash myself down outside the bath. [This is a common problem with accommodation.]

Will never stay in a pet friendly place again, we were going to book for summer holidays but definitely couldn't now as the place stunk of dogs I washed everything but the smell was on sofas , cushions on everything also crisp pots and broken biscuits under the bed, don't think it had been cleaned just tided before we got there, I cleaned everywhere was 100% cleaner when we left than when we arrived, such a shame as lovely little house in a beautiful place, was quite upset about it .

Clean, very bijou, had everything we needed.Great location.
The only negative with this property was the very strong doggy smell that hit us as soon as we walked in. We had to go out and buy air freshener to try and mask the smell a bit but we could still smell it. Unfortunately, we won't be returning for that reason.

Centrally located , well laid out with very comfy beds.
No parking , neighbour warned us off and very noisy from the surrounding pub.
