Appreciated that the apartment had lots of little extras - toothbrushes, razors, etc available for use. The kitchen is the only shared gathering area- so definitely cozy but worked fine for us.

Loved the close proximity to the downtown Sioux Falls Park and all it has to offer within a short walking distance. Well appointed unit. Only thing missing was a stove and a common sitting room but we managed. We were visiting our children so on the go anyway so it was only in the evening that we were really missing a sofa and chair to relax in. Being able to cook a fresh breakfast each morning would have been great but we are flexible enough and adjusted. Everything else was great. Would consider again for a weekend stay. Thank you!

We unfortunately were not able to arrive at the VRBO due to the heavy rains that flooded I29 and have led to many closures of other roads also. I did not purchase the insurance (I will from now on) and so I reached out to the host to let them know that our GPS said route closed and the possible alternate routes were in risk of being closed also. She had zero compassion and stated that is what insurance is for. I wouldn't have expected much back as it was not their fault that a natural disaster happened. After basically begging I was able to get the cleaning fee refunded. I reached out to VRBO and they said only the host could authorize a return, the host lied to me and said they could not since I didn't cancel in time. I then messaged and said that the event is being rebooked for late August and asked that if they would be willing to offer any type of discount to rebook since we were out over $400 and she immediately responded with NO.

This cute little apartment was perfect for my little weekend getaway to Sioux Falls. The location is great, within walking distance to downtown restaurants, bars and shops, as well as Falls Park. The two bedrooms are sizeable. The eat-in kitchen is perfect for grabbing a quick meal before heading out. It's well stocked with everything needed. And so is the bathroom. Little amenities everywhere! Communication with the property owner was quick and helpful when I had a question. The place was impeccably clean and the neighborhood quiet. Off street parking was a bonus! I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our experience and recommend this listing to others. The apartment is located in an older building in an older neighborhood, but the host did an outstanding job of bringing it up to date. The apartment does not have a living room, but I will not allow this to impact my overall recommendation as I should have observed that in the pictures provided. The kitchen does not have a stove/oven available, but there is a larger toaster oven, microwave, portable stove burner(s), and electric griddle available. Again, it was my error and the listed amenities did not include either of these. The host was exceptional with communication, which was very much appreciated. The neighborhood is an older neighborhood, and it’s not unusual to observe interesting citizens walking down the street from time to time. Overall, the property met our needs during our time in Sioux Falls.

BUGS. YES, you read that right. This place had what Abby claimed were earwigs (“gross but harmless” in her words) crawling around in both bedrooms and the bathroom. The first night when we discovered the bugs, we were first asked to move to one room (hard to do when we are a family of 4 with a pet), then we were told that we could vacuum them up and clean the floor with soapy water. After that, we had to clean nightly as they were crawling in the bedrooms on the floors, on the shelves by the beds, in the windows, and even found one on a pillow. We couldn’t change out the pillows or pillow cases as there were none available (one extra pillow without a case and one with mascara on it). Some of the other reviews mentioned the cleanliness; however, that was not the case for us! There were facial hairs behind the faucet in the bathroom and the floors felt dirty walking around. When we took shoes off by the door , immediately felt like we had dirt on our feet walking around the apartment and that night when we vacuumed to clean up the bugs, we vacuumed up lots of lint and hair from around and under the beds. The griddle provided had to be washed before use due to being dusty and covered in crusty food/grease. When discussing the bug situation and cleanliness issues at check out, Abby was not willing to work with us to resolve our issues in any way and stopped communicating with me.

The apartment was spotless and everything was in 100% working order. But the best part of this property is the location. We were able to walk to most things we wanted to do, including: Falls Park - this is not your ordinary waterfall, it has seemingly endless cascades over beautiful Red Quartzite. 4 micro-breweries and dozens of restaurants. Old courthouse museum - do not overlook this impressive collection of models and detailed descriptions that thoroughly describe the history of Sioux Falls. And the museum is free. The Pettigrew house. Also free and you are provided a tour by a historian. A short drive got us to the SS South Dakota museum. An impressive display of artifacts from one of the most decorated WW2 battleships.

Returning to Sioux Falls to visit family, this was a perfect location - close to family residences and walkable to the many shops and restaurants downtown! We even enjoyed a free concert at the nearby cathedral! Check-in had a little hiccup - the automatic lock to the building wasn't working, but Abby was quick to respond and get us into the building. From then on, the visit was flawless. Beds were uber comfortable. The water for the shower quickly got hot and stayed that way. The towels were lush and plump. And everything was spick and span. Note: there is not a living room - just 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. While it did not impact our stay since we were rarely in the unit, it bears mentioning.
