Cool old Victorian house. A piece of history. Had a great kitchen for cooking your own stuff. Had an old house smell but of coarse was built in 1888. Great and safe neighborhood. Would stay here again.

The Historic Victorian Inn is in a lovely historical district of Sioux Falls. We stayed three nights and it made a great place to rest and sleep (at night) with the activities we took part in while in town. The owners were very attentive to us and responded to us quickly.

The check in process was a little daunting. Numerous emails, had to sign a renter agreement, security deposit - it was a bit much. The house is beautiful & has the feel of a bed & breakfast but isn't. Liked the porch and waterfall feature.

This is beautiful Queen Ann House filled with antiques. It is well equipped. It is a fabulous place to stay. Sioux Falls is a gem of a city.

This place is absolutely beautiful. You can see the peide the owners have if their magnificent property. Its like stepping back to the 1880s, but with all the modern conviences. Within walking distance of all the best restaurants and bars in Sioux Falls. Highly recomended.

Cool old building. The checkin process eas all done via text message, and worked great. I was arriving very late and it was nice to have my access codes in advance, and spend a short but stress free night there. Tesla charging was a BIG bonus.

Enjoyed my stay at the old Victorian Inn. I stayed one night in the loft area. Bed was comfortable, Roku Tv in the room, towels were on the bed. Bathroom with nice shower was just a few feet away in the hallway. Temperature in the house was nice and cool. I didn't get to use the covered porch or inside at all, but it's a cool "old" place. Pictures on the internet were true to form. Check-in/out instructions were sent via text message and were pretty clear and concise. Timely responses were given also. I appreciated that.

Neat old house. Being an old house there weren't plug-ins near bed for CPap machine. The old tub was small and hard to get into or out of. It was quiet.

A beautiful Victorian house with the old world charm. We stayed in the Gold room with our own bathroom. We were also able to do laundry. Centrally located and it is easy to walk to major restaurants.

Quiet and comfortable. The property was nicely maintained and a short walk to downtown. Couple of points- they prefer to text you, and do not answer if you ask them questions via the hotels.com site. They are very prompt once they have your cell number though. Second, it would help if they had a map of their property rooms- we had to search around to find our room (was actually INSIDE the kitchen!!). Otherwise, very pleasant stay!

The front porch has authentic wood but also has a hole and the wood is squishy in a 5ft area around the top step. Kind of like your foot can go through the wood at any moment. The bed is very hard. and uncomfortable that we went to another hotel for the second night. I gave feedback directly to company but no response. I also wish I knew this wasn’t a real Inn, no staff on site before booking.

Great location in historic district within walking distance to downtown. Ample porch seating and private courtyard area. Well-appointed kitchen with frigid and freezer storage. Very detailed check-in instructions and text interactions. Motion-detection lighting in common areas.

This is a beautiful, well preserved, Victorian home in a lovely, convenient, neighborhood. Great communication and area restaurant and sightseeing suggestions from the owner, who is not on site. Easy street parking. We had a spacious room with a private bath and one of the most comfortable beds we've ever experienced while traveling.

Very nice setup and cool old-feel. Gets very loud throughout the house with anyone else as one would expect the awesome creepy old stairs or thinner walls…so, while it’s not a major issue, keep that in mind in terms of your personal needs for both incoming and outgoing noise from your room ;)

Beautiful Victorian home in quiet neighborhood. Amazing front porch and side patios. Great common areas. Check-in took a few minutes to figure out as there is no staff on sight. Text describing check-in procedures did not include the name of the room assigned to us. Other than that, very central, clean, and quiet.

The Inn is a grand Victorian lady, filled with antiques. The bed was extra comfortable and room darkening drapes allowed us to sleep in, undisturbed. A new rug is needed in the guest suite bathroom, and a more thorough dusting, but overall the whole place was quite fine. Steve wasn't present much, but made sure we could text him if we had questions.

It’s a beautiful property and convenient location to access downtown Sioux Falls. Wife and I have stayed at servers historic mansions, and this one lacked the personal touches and pampering you’d expect from a hotel or B and B — so just beware that you’ll be taking out your own garbage and loading dishes (should you choose to use them.) Still, I’d rather help support a historical home than a goliath corporate hotel chain any day. 7/10.
