It’s a nice location with a lovely outdoor space. Everything travelers may need to cook and clean in the unit was provided and easy to find. It is about 15 minutes from “downtown” Eugene, but groceries and other shops closer. If I have one complaint about our stay it’s that most of the lightbulbs in the unit are too bright, too cold in color and in infested bulbs. Otherwise a very comfortable place!

The house is beautiful! I would trade bathrooms for my own house. The yard has old growth trees and a zen feel to it. The owners have thought of everything. I was impressed that they had an air filter. Roomy kitchenand outside grille. Even better than photos on the inside. Nice to be located on a cul de sac so no traffic, yet easy to get to the house. This is a great find and highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay for our son's graduation week! Place was very comfortable and well equipped for cooking and family meals. Loved hiking the nearby trails. It was a bit of a longer distance from UO campus than we anticipated but it was worth extra minutes to have the hiking trails nearby.

Very classy update to an older house that is tasteful and very functional. Master has a king and its own bathroom. 2nd room has two beds and third has a queen. 2nd bath. Nice family room combo kitchen. Everything was extremely clean and tidy. Just a nice feel to the entire place.

We had a great vacation staying at this very clean and well kept home. We enjoyed the one-level floorplan and the home was nicely appointed and very clean. Definitely would like to return next year for another stay!

Our stay was wonderful. The decor in this house is on point, especially for a rental. It made us feel like we were at home. Very clean and everything worked as intended! :) There are some nice little trails in the neighborhood that are walking distance. They were filled with beautiful foliage this time of year. We also greatly enjoyed the deer and wild turkeys all around!

This was the most beautiful place, and the most welcoming, everything we ever could’ve needed or wanted was available.. We appreciate your house so much and you guys are so gracious.. Absolutely wonderful time. We gather together for a funeral but really enjoyed our time together at your home. Thank you, thank you, we will be back.. It felt like we were camping when we had our marshmallow roast on your beautiful back deck.. Such a lovely wonderful time!

Perfect location for our stay. The house was very comfortable and exactly as described. We were there for a college softball tournament and the venue was only about 14 minutes from the house. The hosts were great about answering questions. Check-in and check-out was easy. Would definitely reserve this home again.

This house was gorgeous. No doubt about it from the beautiful grounds to the interior decorations it was just beautiful. My 7 year old said, “they must be rich because there’s like 12 potted plants here.” So she was impressed. We are a “large “ family and this was perfect house for us because we had lots of room in the bedrooms, kitchen, and for the kids to play in the living room and outside. If I could change anything I would say the water was really cold in the kitchen. I actually took our personal dishes to my in-laws so that I didn’t have to get my hands cold! Also it would be nice to have shelves to put clothes on in the rooms.

Excellent hosts, amenities, documentation and communication. Everything was clearly identified in the home and the location is amazing for what we like to do: Visit U of O (daughter attends there), hike and enjoy outdoor space. We had to cut our stay short due to an emergency at home, but hope to be back in the future.

We had a Celebration of Life held at the Laurel Wood golf course minutes from the VRBO and it worked out perfectly for us. The living room and kitchen being one great room was so functional for 7 to be comfortable. The patio table and chairs outside and the propane fire stove with chairs were great for hosting a few others to come and visit with us all at one time. Everyone thought the place was very special. A great walk/hiking place was right out the door too. :))

We were in town for my son’s junior Olympic track meet at Hayward Field. I found your property on VRBO and the pictures matched the house exactly. The house was perfect for our family of five to come and visit Eugene and explore the town. We had a great time going to all the recommended restaurants, hikes, and places to visit. This house is lovely with wild blackberry bushes growing right next to the house, which we picked daily and had dear visit us often. Thank you for a lovely visit.

We had a lovely stay at Tall Firs!!! The house is well stocked and appointed and it is a 10-15 min drive to downtown Eugene, depending on where you are going. Host was very responsive and helpful as well. :)

This was the perfect property to rent for our wedding weekend. We live in Eugene so it wasn’t a far trek for us, but it was so fun to have a special place to spend time for our special weekend. Highly recommend this rental!

We had the best time visiting Eugene and surrounding areas. The house feels like home the minute you walk inside. Everything was absolutely perfect and seamless. The area is so peaceful with all the wildlife and tall trees around it. What a wonderful indoor outdoor experience. We had everything we needed to be comfortable - well designed space and well equipped, very much self contained. It was a truly relaxing stay. Thank you so much for everything and all the recommendations. 10/10 would do it again.

Tall Firs is a lovely, quiet, updated space with easy access to anywhere in Eugene. My friend and I were visiting our Duck daughters and we truly enjoyed the thoughtful decor, the special yard and overall peace of the area. We did not lack for anything while we were there. I expect to spend more time there anytime we visit Eugene.

The house is in a fabulous location adjacent to some beautiful hiking trails. We saw turkeys, deer and a variety of wildlife. It’s peaceful and the home is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking a meal. We loved the Tall Firs house and will be back soon! Thanks for everything!

We had family from 3 different locations fly in for the Eugene Marathon and we wanted a place where we could gather and just enjoy being together. This house was perfect for us and was such a pleasant and relaxing place to be. We enjoyed being so close to hiking trails and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and close to everything we wanted to do. The host was responsive, everything in the home was in good condition and it was well stocked. The back yard is just gorgeous and we had some wonderful evenings sitting around the firepit. This was a fantastic VRBO experience!

Our stay was just what we’re were looking for, for our New Years getaway. We were able to get to the snow and the coast in a little over an hour from the house. The house itself was welcoming and peaceful, but the location is what makes it perfect. We enjoyed that it was slightly tucked away from town, but only a quick drive away. We would love to stay again!

We were lucky enough to snag this beautiful property for a family Christmas with family from all over Oregon and Los Angeles, CA. The house was spacious, immaculate, beautifully decorated and had everything we could need or want. Ian was the best, checked on us during the ice storm and even made a trip to the house on Christmas when there was a small electrical issue which he had resolved within 2 hours. That is above and beyond the call of duty! I could not recommend Ian and this house any higher.

The property is very cute. It reminded me a bit of a house I used to live in. This is a remodeled and updated 50's style ranch house. The location is very quiet and there are trails for walking near by, not to mention the Cascade Raptor Centerwhich was fascinating to visit. The layout and the big room were great for 5 friends coming together after two years of Covid isolation to meet up from three different parts off the country. Good forest views - we saw a flock of wild turkey hens waddle down the road!

The house was just as described and beautiful. It has everything we could need and more, in a great location, and the communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. If my son attends college here, I will be staying here again many times. I highly recommend this house.
