About this apartment rental
This newly-remodeled, centrally-located, air-conditioned, garden-level (basement) apartment has a private entrance, private patio with table/chairs, 2 bedrooms, 2 queen beds, a full sofa bed, a large equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, free on-street parking, and is near practically everything:
Sheridan Light Rail - 3/5 mile
Sloans' Lake - 1/2 mile
Broncos Stadium - 2.4 miles
Meow Wolf - 3.2 miles
Downtown Denver - 4 miles
Convention Center - 3.7 miles
Golden Triangle (Denver Art Museum, etc.) - 3.7 miles
Denver Center for Performing Arts - 3.7 miles
Elitch Gardens Amusement Park and Water Park - 4.4 miles
This is a garden-level (basement) apartment. The apartment is around 900 square feet. It has air conditioning to stay cool and comfortable and get a break from the heat in warm months.
Ceilings in most of the apartment are 6 feet 9 ½ inches high. There are two small areas where the ceiling lowers due to air ducts in the ceiling. One small area dips briefly to 6 ft. 1 ½ in., then raises again to 6 ft. 9 ½ in. A smaller area dips briefly to 5 ft. 11 ½ in., then raises again to 6 ft. 9 ½ in. If you are a taller person, you might have to duck a bit in those two small areas. I personally am 6 ft. 2 in. tall and have no issues.
There is central heating in cold months. We have placed a plush blanket in each dresser, and in the storage compartment under the sofa bed, in case you want to feel extra cozy.
Everything has been renovated. It has a well-stocked kitchen with lots of amenities.
Well-behaved, friendly pets are welcome at our home with an additional cleaning fee of $30.
For any hard-to-remove accidents your four-legged loved one might have in the home, you will be charged an additional professional cleaning fee. The booking guest will be liable for any damage caused by pets.
You will have a private, fenced-off patio area that includes a patio table and chairs. Please pick up and dispose of any mess. There is also a park just across the street, which is a perfect place for dog walking.
I live upstairs with two small dogs and two cats. You will hear us moving around. This might not be the right rental for you if you are especially noise-sensitive, although there are disposable ear plugs and a white-noise machine for your use located in each bedroom nightstand.
You will have the entire bottom floor apartment with your own private entrance. You will also have a private, fenced-off patio area with a patio table and chairs.
There is also a park just across the street, which is a great place for dog walking or playing basketball.
This is not a place for parties. There are plenty of wonderful venues to do that nearby. Afterwards, you can take Uber or Light Rail safely back to the apartment.
The apartment is in a dynamic urban neighborhood. You never have to go far to find what you need, and downtown Denver is just a few minutes away. We love our neighborhood. The neighbors are friendly, and we look out for each other. It is diverse, with people of various socio-economic levels. As a large city, the Denver-Metro area (including our neighborhood) has a large homeless population, and sometimes the liveliness of the city can be heard.
With that said, we feel very safe here and love being near practically everything. Your apartment has many safety features for your peace of mind, including active-deterrence security cameras outside, security bars on the windows (including bars over the window wells that are removable from the inside for emergency escape), and motion-detecting security lights all around the premises. The deadbolt on the door also has a built-in alarm which can be enabled at your request.
We also have room-darkening blinds, white-noise machines, sleep masks, and disposable earplugs to help you tune out the outside world and enjoy your vacation getaway.

Super clean, easy access, nice fenced area for our dogs and a park for morning walks across the street. Neighborhood was quiet at night, bed super comfy. Host gave good info, kitchen well stocked. Would stay again on another trip to Denver.

Our 10 day stay here was for a couple of reasons, of which our host Jason made even more spectacular for us! We were able to make great memories with special friends, prepare some meals in the great kitchen, enjoyed our rest in very comfortable beds, watched the Olympic highlights, and even played some games our friends brought! The location is perfect, and the ability to walk and play at the park across the street with our new rescue dog Jax, made our stay perfect! Jason’s recommendation for the Edgewater Public Market and the restaurant Syrup, quickly became a favorite of ours! We look forward to staying again, as his hospitality was wonderful!!! Thank you so much Jason, as you are aware of how very special this visit was for us! ~Larry and Vicki Dooley♥️

Great location for all things around Denver. The beds were super comfy and the place in general was clean! Communication was wonderful.

Communication with Jason was easy from the start. He is very clear on policies, amenities and layout of the place. I'd live here happily as a great little apartment with full, modern kitchen and appliances and full laundry facilities. Parking spot right out front was always available. Ten minute drive to downtown hotspots, sports stadiums, etc.

Exactly as advertised. Good location with easy drive to downtown, Broncos Stadium, etc. Neighborhood a little run down. It’s one of those in transition. Park nearby was perfect for walking the Dogs. Small homeless encampment at park was not an issue. Property is well maintained. Jason was very responsive. Was easy to get an Uber to and from property if you don’t want to drive through downtown. Diner nearby on the corner of Colfax had fantastic breakfast options. Overall a perfect choice for us and are dogs.

My wife, our 2 year old pup Teddy and myself had a great stay. The location is close to everywhere we wanted to visit including a Rockies game, Red Rocks and downtown Denver. Rocky Mtn National Park was an hour and a half away which made for a great day trip to see the park. Great recommendations made by the host for places to eat including Little Man Ice Cream.

The property was the cleanest vrbo I have stayed at. It was well appointed. The location was great for us. It was close to downtown and near plenty of good places to eat. There were three of us and a small dog and we fit perfectly in the two bedrooms. We didn't use the pull out couch but it could have fit up to 2 more probably without issue.
The area seems to be in transition. The neighborhood is cute and well established and it seems on the edge of gentrification with modern apartments going up nearby. There were some homeless folks a few blocks away which seems to sadly be the case for all cities these days. But we felt perfectly safe and blessed to have such a nice place to stay. Jason was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I'd stay there again and recommend it to others.

This basement apartment is nicely furnished, very clean, and well-stocked with anything you might need during your stay. We always felt safe, but the neighborhood does have its share of homeless people along the main road. We had no issues or problems but Jason checked in with us every day to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

We choose this property because they accept dogs and we were please to have a very clean and well equipped place to stay. Jason was thoughtful and sweetly decorated the apartment with primitive wood snowmen and a cute little tree because I I told him we would be celebrating Christmas there and wondered if he had some decorations we could use. We also easily accessed a scenic hike each day due to Lakewood being on the west side of Denver.

The rental was neat, clean, decorated well, with a well stocked kitchen. Everything you could possibly need was available. A lot of attention paid to details - such as kleenex, well placed nightlights, coasters, and towels. Best of all we were able to have our dog with us with a beautiful walking trail around Sloanes lake nearby. The only downside was the presence of a lot of homeless people in the area which seems to be common in Denver.

Jason was a great host! Kind, helpful and accommodating. The place was very clean with a great kitchen and very nice bedrooms. The washer and dryer were a nice bonus as well. A great yard if you happen to bring your dog. The location was nice because you could go in any direction for any adventure and know you are centrally located, with easy access to the mountains or to downtown. Highly recommended and would stay here again.

Nice property…basement apartment. Had everything we needed and the owner was quite helpful. Am a big guy and ceiling’s were low but that was the only drawback. Would stay again! Thanks Jason

Cleanest Rental Ever!
Jason’s lower apartment is by far the cleanest property we have rented. It was also comfortable for the kids and adults. It had everything we needed.
Jason went above and beyond making sure we were happy with our stay. Before we arrived he let us know there was trouble with the refrigerator and made sure to rectify the inconvenience. When I was nervous about leaving all our camping gear visible for tempting a car break in he helped me move all the gear inside the fence and even set up a padlock for extra security.
I can’t say enough about his conscientious as a host. What a wonderful stay!

Delivered As Promised!
Where do I start?! Our visit was wonderful! The Host was the best and was available if needed at all times. The Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare entire meals and the atmosphere was discreet yet accessible to everywhere we needed to go. Awesome stay and we definitely will be back!
