About this apartment rental

Once the residence of a local noble lineage, this renovated country home provides a tranquil base for families and large groups. You'll find it nestled in verdant hillslopes, boasting five acres of lush landscaped gardens and panoramic views of the medieval town of Valfabbrica. Here, the famous Sentiero di San Francesco hiking trail is practically on your doorstep, while the beautiful towns of Perugia and Assisi are less than a thirty-minute drive away. At first glance, this home charms with its rustic stone facade. Inside, it's all exposed beam ceilings, terracotta tiled floors and traditional furnishings. We especially love the country kitchen, fully equipped for home cooking and seamlessly connected to the lounge and dining room through wide, sweeping archways. After a restful slumber in the spacious sleeping quarters, fire up the Moka pot and enjoy espressos on the patio. Outside, expansive gardens offer ample space for relaxing in the sun. Spend your days catnapping on a sun lounger or tucking into a picnic amidst the foliage. On balmy evenings, gather for alfresco feasts on the wood-fired oven and masonry barbecue before curling up in the cosy lounge by the warm glow of the fireplace. Home truths: *There's ample free private parking here – due to the location of this home, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay *This home is spread over three floors, with no internal lift *There's a dedicated office here if you need to catch up on some work during your stay – it's located on the third floor *Your host can provide two cots and two high chairs for free upon request *Firewood for lighting the fireplace, wood-fire oven and barbecue is provided by your host, free of charge *There's no air-conditioning here
