Hotel is very pretty but I was kind of shocked for the price at how poor the service was . No one at bell desk , gift shop etc. also shower didn’t drain properly

Very bad value for what you get in return. The resort fee is ridiculous, its a run of the mill hotel - nothing 'resort' about it. The resort fee of 36$ per person per night gets you a bottle of water and a glass of wine, and various discounts off things that are overpriced to begin with ($6 for a bottle of water in the gift shop). We also werent given our vouchers to avail of the discounts and free bevergaes upon checkin, and had to ask for them ourselves on the 3rd day once we realised our fellow guests had them.
The room was clean and the cleaners did a great job each day. Staff were very friendly. This was the main saving grace.
Overall, the hotel is quite dated and doesnt offer much to guests other than a place to sleep. So while it does the job, it was not worth the price paid and doesnt live up to being a 'resort'.

We booked the Champions Suite for (4) guests. We arrived and were warmly greeted by Rich immediatly. Rich was extremely helpful and showed a level of customer service rarely seen in the Hotel Industry these days. The suite was very spacious, but the amenities and furnishings were outdated and did not provide very good use of the space. The suite info said there was a sofa bed, but both of the sofa's in the suite were standard couches with no bed. When we ordered a roll-up bed, we were told that there would be a $25 charge. I tipped for delivery, but disputed the charge at checkout and explained that I didn't agree to the charge based on the fact that there were no other places to sleep for our children, and the charge was removed.
Overall the view from the balcony and our interaction with Rich were the highlights of the stay. I hear they are renovating the Suites, hopefully when they do they will provide a more useful layout!!!

I wanted to live this place as it is so close to schools, but my room was dirty and I was too tired from my drive to change rooms. There was a chair with a giant stain and odor in my room. I had to put the a/c on in order to disguise the odor. Pic attached. I would not stay here again.

This Hilton is located in a beautiful area close to the ocean. The rooms are a little dated and the restaurants on site are mediocre. Staff was friendly.

Really impolite.

They were so impolite. I have never seem such an impolite reception. I understood why the score is so low, despite the location was so perfect.

Property was great all amenities and dining. For guests parking should not be so expensive. 40$ a night is overpriced most of the day no parking at the venue.

We really enjoyed our stay

Though the location was beautiful it was not convenient. The only restaurant options close by were in the hotel which was over priced with an hour wait time for the food. The staff was friendly and tried to make up for what they could but it was clear that the hotel was under staffed in general. Our room was not made up and they ran out of clean pool towels. The hotel also needs some renovation. The cushions on the chairs were worn and fraying and the furniture was chipped. Fees are high for what you get. They charge a resort fee of $36/day plus $40/day for self parking. Internet access was interrupted. Wouldn’t recommend or stay again for the price.

Amazing! We loved every part of our stay. Seemless check in, with our toddler and dog.
The pool was amazing, heated salt water pool.
The staff were always so friendly and couldn’t have done anything more!
We have found our staycation hotel, that we always wanted!
Thank you Hilton, we will be back!

I liked everything at this hotel was fantastic, nice clean room , friendly staff and food options. I didn’t like the fact that there were lots of bees , the hotel should be doing something about the massive bee population, the bees were flying around our balcony kept trying to get in our room and wanting to get in our food as we were eating on our room balcony. Other than that everything was fantastic!

When I arrived I asked for a slightly earlier check in so they stated they would text me when a room was ready. I never received the text, I kept going to front desk to ask if a room was ready. There is no let relief area for those traveling with a pet. The room was falling apart. The bathroom door now was coming apart, shower head had water mildew, the chair in the room was ripped, there were dark water marks on the ceiling of the bathroom, and the room was over all unclean. I think you would be better off saving some money going to a motel and probably get a better stay.

Great location adjacent to Torrey Pines and close to Del Mar and surrounding towns and beaches

Great for family. Easy to get to. Easy parking. Quiet, yet easy to get to city for fun.

Paid in full with Expedia. Show up no rooms. Send us to another hotel away from our party. New hotel charges us 5x normal rate for incidentals putting a hold on my card. Get back to the original hotel after having to pack up and move. Was told to correct error only 100$ incidentals. Nope 300$ more. Expedia says sleep 3 but only a queen. Spent way too much time calling, moving and visiting grunt desk. Extra holds on my funds impacted our trips dining and activities. Disappointed is understatement.

Location is great. Property is showing it’s age. Come on Hilton Corp, this place could be a jewel. Parking expensive. Unfortunately had to wait for our room to be ready, 1 hour past the 4pm check in time. Hard to do with kiddos.

Was not a fan.

The location is very far from happening place and need your own car to travel. But the hotel charge $40/day parking which seems to be way too high considering the location. They also charge $35 resort fee but the pool was overcrowded and couldn't even swim there. Fitness is pretty small and don't have much equipments. The property was fairly clean tho.

At check in they wanted to charge $75 for an early check so u said no. When I got to the room there wa hair in the shower and an empty beer cans on the patio. This us not what I expect for $300 a night.

The property was a little 'dated' in places but overall, very beautiful and extremely convenient if you're playing golf. I didn't say anything to the staff but my hall way was a bit noisy. Didn't really interrupt me but was noticeable.

Beautiful, although a bit aged property. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. I little face lift may be in order.

Restaurant was out of service for most of our stay and there are no restaurants within walking distance.
Charged us $40 a day to park even though we are hotel guests.
NEVER going back

I booked two nights in a long terrace room for my anniversary. When I checked in they gave me the room keys, and to my surprise when I got to my room it did not have a terrace and the room was very outdated and small regular room. I went back down to the check in counter and they told me they overbooked the terrace rooms and they would not be available. I asked why they didn’t call me or at least tell me upon check in about the overbooking, but they had no response. After requesting a refund they then said if I stay in the downgraded room night one, the would put me in the presidential suite night two. The presidential suite was night, however I was displaced with no room from 11am until 5pm on day two as they needed to clean both rooms. Instead of us going and enjoying the day, we felt we needed to stay on property to wait for our new room. It completely ruined our day. Also, the customer service was poor, it was impossible to call guest services as they never answered. And while dinning it took a very long to receive our drinks and food. I will never stay here again.

This does NOT represent the Hilton brand and I am still in disbelief that this is one. Rooms are not vaccumed daily, especially the dog friendly rooms/areas, parking garage is a nightmare and enterance/exit worked only half the time. Staff seems to be bothered every time asled a question. Layout and areas of this property make no sense. Dog friendly rooms with patio that you have to squeeze past buahes and another patrons room.

Hotel is very old. Holes in the carpet,

The property is very old- the room’s smelled so bad. It had a very bad musky smell- when we flushed the toil there was a very loud gargling sound it was so bad and all night we heard it… the flushing also caused a bad sewer smell to rise. We complained- they told us every room has same problem- some are just worse than others…. It was air in the sewer system- the property is very old. Looks nothing like the pictures you see. Management did nothing to remedy- did not compensate us for anything- just a $30 resort fee… ruined my 4th of July vacation. If you want a motel 6 stay but want to pay Hilton price stay here…
