Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was next to an alley and garbage trucks woke us at 6:30 am. There is a heater on the wall that illuminated the room so sleeping mask a must

I stayed at The Grove Hotel and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel was incredibly clean, without any strong cleaning odors. The beds were comfortable, even the bedding was softer than most other hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff went above and beyond with their helpfulness and kindness at checkin and the few times I had questions. Their hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable.
The location was perfect for people who enjoy walking. It was close enough for us to walk to the downtown area, with plenty of shops and restaurants. We kept our car parked at the hotel and had no issues with vandalism. I felt the car was well protected because the parking is so close to the rooms themselves.
The only downside was its proximity to a Veterans Center, which had the appearance of a homeless camp. That said, we walked by it multiple times during our stay and never encountered any issues. We felt safe the entire time. For reference we are women in our early 40s. I should note the street noise at night is LOUD and there is a fire station across the street that had trucks with sirens multiple times throughout the night. Bring earplugs if you want a good night sleep!
Overall, I’d recommend The Grove Hotel for anyone looking for a budget-friendly, clean, and well-located option with exceptional service!

The pictures do not match the actual looks of the Inn. The parking lot was dark, could use more lights. However, the room was very clean, just small bathroom space.

Hotel is in a get location to catch a bus to the Mariners game. Then far enough away to be quite at night. Clean well maintained rooms.

Concierge girl didn't bother to lead us or even show us where our room was.. we had to figure

It was a very nice room. Pleasant staff. Walking distance to some cool places in West Seattle.

Unique architecture. You don't see many like this with the quality. Very modern rooms. Close to many food options.

This place is falling apart disgusting . The bathroom had so much water damage and mold I was up all night coughing. They said they had no other rooms and “ would send up cleaner” for the mold. That entire bathroom should’ve been torn out. When I complained they redacted my booking and told me some other sucker would be happy to deal with the mold.

The air freshener in the room was too strong

The hotel is conveniently located on the west side of the city and a 10-minute drive from downtown Seattle. Close to restaurants around the area

It is located not too far away from downtown. It’s a little outdated and the AC unit didn’t really work well. It’s also on a bit pricey side. If the price was a little more reasonable I would stay again just for the fact that it’s conveniently located from downtown.

This hotel is perfect for us when we visit our son in West Seattle....he lives right across the street! Hotel staff are great, especially the nice lady in the breakfast room. The breakfast is ample, but could use a few more protein choices other than eggs and yogurt.

Pros:
Great location close to Downtown.
Cons:
Rooms are small.
A lot of noisy & unscrupulous people around the property 24/7.

This place is a little dated, but clean and comfortable. It’s super close to a bus stop that takes you to Lumen Field/T-Mobile Park. A great option instead of spending $50 on parking or Uber. The parking lot is safe and they even offer free breakfast. I would definitely recommend it!

We liked the property. Found it clean and quiet enough. Was conveniently located and reasonably priced. We liked the front desk lady a lot. We could walk to fabulous food and good grocery stores. It felt fairly safe. But after spending a night, we realized the blind that went all the way down did not provide the privacy we expected. It was sheer. That's unacceptable. I can't believe they didn't insure the windows were properly covered at night.

I never got the chance to stay. Need a refund

Very good location, courteous and accommodating staff, clean room and decent bed. Definitely a motel vibe, needs a little bit of updating and extra amenities to feel more cozy and comfortable, but overall no complaints!

Staff was great. Sound proofing was terrible. Heard every step from up stairs and around complex.

It was nice to stay close to our daughter’s house in West Seattle. The lady at the checkin was very nice. There was a problem with the aircon being very loud and since it was a weekend there was no one to check it. There also was a lot of street noise. The convenience factor was the hotels best asset.

It was quite and very clean, needs few more parking spaces but overall a great stay

This was a nice, modern, and comfortable for the price. The room was small but clean and well appointed. I would have like if the clock or one of the lights had a USB outlet in it but otherwise nice.

Great! The room keys did not work the first time and had to be recoded. Our second floor room faced the road but there was no road noise. To have a shower pull down the ring at the end of the water outlet. Occasional marijuana smell outside

Pictures on Expedia site are very misleading. There was hair on the bed, floors were dirty. Will never stay again or recommended.

I rented a room primarily to escape the heat and sleep in an air-conditioned room. The air conditioner didn’t work correctly, it was hot all night. So basically, I spent $160 for nothing – I Should’ve just stayed home.
