Lovely people, good breakfast, and they drove us where we wanted to go. Excellent !

I like staying in the casitas. The lighting in the bathroom should be brighter though.

Inn on the Alameda is a wonderful hotel. The staff is excellent! They are the epitome of hospitality - everyone from the front desk to the breakfast staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

The pros:
Great staff
Shuttle to town square
Nice property
The cons:
10 min walk to town square and further for most restaurants. Gets old when the shuttle isn’t available.
No help with luggage. Had to haul all our bags two buildings and two parking lots over. Up and down stairs, etc. our room wasn’t ready. Our luggage sat in the lobby for a few hours until our room was ready. Never had that happen. Our valuables were placed behind the front desk. Not optimal.

Wonderful small historic hotel. Great location, staff and decor
2.5
The staff was friendly and made us feel at home. They provided a free shuttle service around town. They provided umbrellas in case of rain or extreme sun. Their free breakfasts were really good! Rooms were spacious and very clean. They were helpful and provided lots of information on local sites and restaurants. Terry and Maryel and all the staff were just wonderful!
2.5
Absolutely the best check in we have ever had. Friendly, informative, knowledgeable and professional. Like having a concierge, a representative of the chamber of commerce and a check in hotel professional in one person!

From beginning to end, we loved this hotel. Staff were professional, helpful, and friendly. Room was a good size and attractive. Bed and pillows were comfortable. We took advantage of the courtesy van when our legs just couldn't walk anymore! Great place

Another excellent experience. Conveniently located and the rooms and bedding were great. I would highly recommend in on Alameda looking for a hotel located historic downtown

I wish the beds were more comfortable. Mattresses were too firm.

What a beautiful property! The rooms and the whole layout of the hotel are very nice.
Everyone who works there acts as if you’re visiting their home. Such a welcoming staff.
The rooms we had had a private patio or balcony. Lovely.

Great location in the heart of Santa Fe, but in a quiet area. Comfortable room. Friendly staff, very good free breakfast, and dinner on the property at Joe's Tequila Bar in it's beautiful courtyard was delightful.

I love the genteel vibe of this place...not only are the employees lovely, helpful, and agreeable, but they make you feel genuinely welcome. The hotel is comfortable and wonderfully quiet. The breakfast accommodates many different appetites and tastes and is very generous. Oh, and did I mention the beds? So comfy! I believe I'm a fan for life.

We were very happy with choosing to stay at the Inn on the Alameda. It is a short walk to the center but provides a calm and relaxing feel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The property is well maintained and the breakfast was tasteful and adequate. We tried the restaurant a few times and really liked the food and the restaurant outdoor area is charming. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and appeared to really enjoy their work. Overall we were very happy with our four night stay.

Wished the beds hadn't been so soft. Besides that, it was great.

Lovely hotel, really good breakfast and patio

The property is clean but dated in finishes and there is obvious and amateur patchwork in tiling, painting, plasterwork. Overall, the experience was still comfortable and staff warm and friendly, but for what they charge they need to spend some money to bring it up to standards.

Inn on the Alameda is always our first choice when we stay in Santa Fe. The service does just seem more genuine, and we've never had a real complaint. Their breakfast (which usually comes with the room) is surprisingly good as well. :)

Comfortable and quiet room. Grounds are nicely maintained. Walking distance to the Plaza, Basilica and Canyon Rd galleries. Staff at the front desk, and in Joe's Tequila Bar (attached to the hotel) were fantastic. Food was tasty, and the selection of tequilas was amazing. Would definitely stay there again.

This was our first time in Santa Fe. We really enjoyed out stay at Inn on the Alamesa. All the staff are excellent. We appreciated the wonderful breakfast that is included in the price and the complementary shuttle service. Excellent hotel!
5.0
Lovely place to stay in Santa Fe. Very close to the Plaza and art studios and loads of restaurants. And there is an on demand shuttle that runs all day, in case the walk is too much for you. I will definitely return!

The staff is excellent at the Inn on the Alameda. Excellent! There is a parking lot and checkin was very easy. The rooms are nice and breakfast was good.
2.5
A wonderful place to stay! Friendly people, lovely room with an outdoor private patio. My only complaint is that the check in woman said that their breakfast was great and that was not my experience. Even though we went to breakfast with about an hour to spare before it closed they were already out of a few items.
